Jiaoxi Township hotels & places to stay

The room is very clean and quite big suits for us to stay. There is nice and friendly staff who is helpful and provided simple but just nice breakfast buffet to us. The location near Jiaoxi Station and just need to walk around 7 minutes. Nearby has a lot of street stall which selling food at night so do not worry about dinner. We definately will stay over again if come to Jiaoxi next time.

Our family of 3 (all adults) enjoyed ourselves very much with this hotel and everything from facilities to staff were out of our expectations. The location is excellent- easy to find and quite close to the main Jiaoxi area and the train station. The hotel room we booked was very spacious and clean. Room was really quiet too. Every staff we met from housekeeping to front desk were really friendly and attentive to our needs. Love the room's own hot spring! We were quite surprised when the restaurant offered us a free welcoming dish. Highly recommended!

Excellent big hotel, easily the best in Jiaoxi. Quite pricey. But hotel rooms are large, all rooms have hotspring bath tub, with plenty of facilities and activities to occupy us. Staff are very friendly. Free shuttle to and from train station or nearby streets. Or walk 8 mins to main Jiaoxi street. There are several indoor hotspring pools to enjoy, each with its characteristics. Lots of jacuzzi n high powered water jets to ease all your tensed muscles. There is even a free fish foot spa. Hotel is next to a nice public feet hotspring park. Hotel provides free visits to farm n morning hike, as well as simple handicraft sessions for kids. Highly recommended!

location is good. just 5-10min car distance to jiaoxi bus station (nt120). convenience store, massage and many restaurant within walking distance. room is very comfortable. in room hot spring . interior design is good. breakfast is healthy with few types of food. nice coffee (free flow for the day). other facility like free fish spa and prawn fishing promotion coupon . you shall also try their home made freshly brew beer. very tasty. generally the best stay I've ever had in Taiwan.

Lovely hotel for a 2 to 3 day getaway. The staff has thought of everything you might need, from the little details like the heated toilet seats (excellent in winter), hot spring bath in the room, delicious complimentary snacks and drinks, and wonderful-smelling Harnn toiletries. The highlight was the set dinner which comes with the booking, which was absolutely delicious (I would recommend it over the buffet dinner, which was good but not as good as the set). However, there's not much to be done around the hotel if you're not the chilling out kind. The hotel has a regular shuttle to the Jiaoxi city but it's mainly filled with eateries and souvenir shops -- we were done checking out the streets in 45 minutes. But if all you want is a relaxing time in a beautiful hotel with excellent service, then Hotel Royal Chiao Hsi is highly recommended.

Booked room for 4. The room was spacious even with 1 extra bed. Two double beds of King size. Family loved the in room hot spring spa. Their toiletries were eco friendly and organic, really a spa experience. Free pick up and send to railway station. Across two streets are eateries and fish spas. The Jiaoxi public hot springs are interspersed on both sides of hotel. Must say they are only small pond sizes. Can have free soak for legs. Many locals soaking there.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Less than a 2 mins walk from the hotel and you will see Jiaoxi Train Station which brings you to Yilan and Luodong. To the main street, a good 20 mins walk allows you to walk past many nice cakes and souvenirs stores including pon.com.tw (奕顺轩) and cakenobel.com (诺贝尔). The hotel has a very nice ambiance and kids friendly, having lego sets for kids to play while waiting to check in. I love the common toilets and the heat-activated toilet seats in a pretty chilly weather. Jiaoxi's weather can be chilly and sometimes drizzling. I also enjoyed the service of the staff, excellent! It has such a comfortable bed that we decided to laze a bit more, and go out later. We thought of eating, and going back to hotel to offload the buys and the service crew can clean after lunch. However, we took a much longer lunch and had to our surprise, the rooms were cleaned up already! Very excellent crew and polite! We enjoyed our stay there! Thank you!

I am hardly to meet such bed service from any hotel's reception. In 12/24 pm 14:10 I gave their reception a phone call. B/c I planned to go out and I hoped someone come to make up my room. So I called No. 9 to the reception. the one who picked up phone answered in very unfriendly and no patience way. I feel so uncomfortable to talk with that women. Honestly the hotel room is not that cheap, the facilities are not that new. 99% stuff in this hotel are really nice, except that unfriendly reception stuff. This is not my first to live in this hotel. But i think i will consider others next time. To avoid to see that unfriendly reception women. 這次住，遇到服務很糟的女櫃檯人員，不用受訓學習應對，就做櫃檯。對該飯店的形象應該是極大的損害吧

We booked a superior mountain side room and stayed here for our wedding anniversary. The hotel was close to the train station so it was easy to spot. Staff were really nice, they prepared a romantic and comfy room for us. The bathroom and hot spring bath tub was really big (bigger than those with double the hotel rate), it was also very clean, so we really enjoyed the private in room hot spring. The hotel offered things like tooth brush, shower sets, tea bags, coffee etc so don't need to worry about bringing your own. The bed was also big and comfy. The room was modern setting. The whole stay was very comfy and relaxing. For dinner if u want to find a restaurant to dine in, I think the only option is to dine at restaurants at other larger hotels nearby. Otherwise you can eat street foods at nearby area , kind of like night market. For breakfast you can eat at the hotel cafe, it was a buffet with one main dish, worth the try. Overall, highly recommended if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing stay at a hot spring hotel in Jiaoxi/Yilan area (with huge private hot spring bathtub) at a valuable price.

This is a well managed hotel with impressive renovation and well trained staff who are always helpful. The hotel is near the bus stop and the shops and restaurants are within walking distance. I expected that there are public onsen pool when I booked this hotel, but there are none, you can enjoy the onsen only in the bathroom. By the way, there should be over 100 spring hotels in Jiaoxi as I walked on the streets, my impression is this hotel is above par based on the outlook

Location: Right in the center of JiaoXi township. Foods: Buffet breakfast is not bad, but lots of foods out there in town. Attraction: Walking distance to Hotspring Park. Other places need car. Room size: Big, you can do hotspring in the huge bathtub in the room, there is outdoor hotspring too inside of the hotel. Conclusion: Over all it's good. would stay again even as a tourist if the price is right. It fluctuates a lot.

Convenient location, staff very helpful. The ice blocks in the 24 hr snack bar were a highlight with so many flavors. We were tourist from overseas and not familiar with local area. We got a bit lost at night, so we called the hotel for help. They offered to come and pick us up. Unfortunately, we had to decline their offer because we were travelling in a big group so we couldn't all fit.

First of all, I have to say the prices of wow happy hotel is very affordable. This time, my boyfriend and I booked a double-standard room including one day breakfast for two people which only cost less than NTD$2,000 per night. As we known, Jiaoxi is a rural town, but the level prices here are high because it is one of famous tourist attractions in north Taiwan. So, basically it is hard to find such cheap hotel, especially during the high season like summer or winter. Secondly, the room is not big but facilities inside the room are complete. There is a decent bath tub in the bathroom which is clean. We soaked a bath and felt really relaxing. Last, as for the most important point which is cleanliness of the room, I have to say it is impeccable. There is no dust in the closet and the desk. Also, the bed is comfortable and without weird smelling.

Finding this hotel was rather straightforward and easy. It's about 7mins walking distance from the Jiaoxi TRA station. Just around the hotel area, there's already a few things you can do and see such as soaking your feet in park just directly besides the hotel, and/or walk around to see any onsen options. I was being upgraded to a twin bed room for free due to some issues, and this room was big. And as shown in the pictures, there will be a bath tube there, with hot water readily available. Totally recommended this hotel~

The hot spring pools are the most amazing I have ever been to (over those in Hokkaido). I simply love the stay with my room having its own hot spring bath. The hot springs really wash away the tiredness of my parents from the travel. There are both outdoor and indoor hot springs that come with all sorts of water jet that cater to the needs of every part of your body, hot pools with different scent ranging from rose to sakura, Korean hot stone bed, 2 sauna rooms and 2 steam bath rooms. Nearly forget to mention the slides which I really love. The location is good as it is right in the middle of Jiaoxi town in Yilan. The staff were also nice and attentive, my father had a minor accident in the hot pool as a sharp edge of the Jacuzzi bed cut the skin behind his right ear, but the hotel staff were quite to provide first aid, apologize and offer to bring him to hospital if necessary. That said, the breakfast despite the wide varieties, is also average in taste and the toiletries are average as well.

We were really surprised by how spacious the city view hotel room was - it was actually more like an apartment, with the bedroom upstairs. Great views of Jiaoxi from the huge windows in the bathroom. Very clean room and relatively fast internet. Breakfast is served until 11am, though we didn't make it down. Staff spoke basic English & it was quite easy to communicate with them. Walking distance to everything you need during your stay.

Its actually a distance from Jiaoxi station. Hence you will have to either arrange transport with the the minsu or take cab there. Its a serenity environment, away from the foreign tourist. Facing the padi field; if you want, u can just draw up the blinds n look through outside while soaking the hotspring in your own room. There is a car garage per unit for my room type. Hence you can just go into your room after you park your car. Big hot spring "tub" that can accomodates 4 pax. There's a bench there too...so its ideal for a family.

Stay a couple of times in Jiaoxi, and nothing beats this! This hotel has 2 kinds of stay: Room only, or Room with personal parking lot like a motel. Everything in here is good. Room and bath are big and clean. Super spacious hotspring tub. And the water in the bath are really hotspring water, so no real cold water is available for bathing. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. All around hotel are local foods and goodies. There are even street stalls just outside of the main road. Marts and cafes all around. One can never get hungry staying here. I guess I will be staying here next time whenever in Jiaoxi.

There is no view or balcony but I guess this is the standard as the whole Jiaosi township is cluttered with buildings which are very close to one another.The wi-fi service is only available at lobby and restaurant. A wide variety of cable channels available. The only significant plus point of this hotel is the in-riom hotspring bath and common hotspring facilities which offers public and private hotspring options. There is also fish spa available which is somewhat like a pedicure. Hotel is a 5 mins drive from train station so it is rather convenient if you are travelling by train.
