Jimbaran Bay Beach Resort & Spa by Prabhu

"We came to stay for 3 nights but ended up with 5 because we liked it so much. We came to the soft opening so there was still some construction work going on but it didn't bother us. When it is finished it will be an excellent hotel in Jimbaran. Pool is nice, very clean. They are also building a roof top bar which has beautiful views and amazing sunset. One unique feature is the balcony with deep soaking bathtub, highly recommended! The staffs were very friendly, helpful and professional and made our overall stay terrific. Really recommend for those who want to stay in Jimbaran Bay!"

RIMBA Jimbaran BALI by AYANA
Jimbaran,Jimbaran - View on map
"Location wise, Jimbaran is away from the hustle and bustle of the heart of Bali that is Kuta and Seminyak. So if you want a quaint and quiet holiday, Jimbaran is a nice location you could consider. If you are a hotel/beach/pool bum and all you want is a nice resort to relax in, then Rimba at Jimbaran is a lovely place to consider. We booked the Hillside units but were very generously upgraded to a poolside unit, the perfect start to our holiday. Rooms were clean and very well furnished we barely wanted to leave the room. The only downside was the presence of mosquitoes in our unit. Apart from that, the food in the resort (we ate thrice at To'ge, had snacks at Unique and order room service for dinner once all in our 4d3n stay) and the other facilities that are available (plenty of pools) make Rimba a lovely place for people who want a quiet resort vacation! Staff are very detailed and friendly and i would highly recommend this place!"

AYANA Resort and Spa, BALI

"Staff were all very courteous and friendly. We had the room with lounge access thus we spent our stay in the resort itself enjoying by the pool, the lounge, the beach as well as rock bar. The sunset view from rock bar was indeed magnificent as described by everyone else. Hotel guests have priority over outsiders thus this is a plus point as it may gets really crowded during the evening. Room was clean and well maintained, with a balcony and the view of the resort and the ocean. We had our breakfast at the sister hotel - Jimbaran hotel. The breakfast spread was one of the most extensive spread that I have ever seen. Great job. Both Ayana and Jimbaran were great for photo taking too. One of the best experience for me and my husband. We love it. Definitely worth the $$ spent. Thank you Ayana. "

Royal Tulip Springhill Resort - Jimbaran

"The hotel management and staffs were very helpful with great hospitality. They always fulfilled every request I asked them. I even got a free-upgraded room during my stay in the hotel for four nights. I celebrated my birthday here and the staffs surprised me with cake, candle, and singing when I had my breakfast. The facilities is good and complete. The food is nice and varied. Overall, I felt like home during my stay in Royal Tulip Hotel Jimbaran and I will definitely stay there again when I visit Bali next time."

Movenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali

"This is a new and perfect holiday hotel. The rooms (we had a junior suite) are really well appointed and spotless. The staff are genuinely friendly and very attentive. Food and beverage are reasonably priced for this type of hotel. We will definitely return. Only gave it 4 for location as it is not of the beach. Also only 4 for facilities but that is to put it in perspective because some hotels offer more. However, best part of Jimbaran Beach is only a couple of hundred metres away along a safe and clean walkway, the gardens bearing in mind that they are new are magic, the pool is great, the roof top bar overlooks Jimbaran Bay and the distant airport. Frankly, I think that whoever conceived this hotel has managed to tick all the boxes and the current management have put the cherry on the cake."

Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran

"Stayed 4 nights in the Lagoon Access room. This hotel is among the "unusual" ones I've visited - not the typical "luxury" style, but instead selling cozy services to make guests feel like home! 1) Check-in: Nothing formal and it was coupled with several chairs and tables with computers - just like library for guests to check-in in a very relaxed mood. I found this more personal and of course the welcome drink tasted very good as well. 2) Lagoon Access Room: Very spacious with a large bed in the middle of the room. There's a spacious balcony which you can have beer/wine and also access to swimming pool straight the way. 3) Food: Plentiful choices at breakfast and I only get bored on my last day! Apart from typical coffee/tea option, they also served special smoothies which is a must try. Jimbaran seafood restaurants were just 3 mins walk away from hotel across the road. The food there was very good and costs about IDR250,000/head, and I didn't smell any BBQ smoke from my room but that's probably because mine was far away from the beach. Alternatively, there is a small shopping mall which is 5 mins walk away from hotel, with restaurants serving Indonesian, Western and Japanese food. 4) Services: Full of smiles. Every staff smiled at you whenever they passed by and greeted you. They were also helpful when you needed taxis by booking the cheapest "Blue Bird" brands instead of others which turned out to be more expensive. They also had a gym which is good enough for holiday runners but not for those who wants a hardcore weight training programme. They also had a spa but I didn't try. 5) Swimming Pool: This is definitely the selling point of this hotel. "Sea-salted" was a good gimmick and access from your room straight the way was another! The pool was irregularly shaped so as to accommodate all Lagoon Access rooms, yet this also mean swimming from your room to the central part of the pool was far, as you needed to swim pass couple rooms before reaching there!"

FOX Hotel Jimbaran Beach

"Staff were always ready to answer queries and provide recommendations. Room was spacious even for two occupants. Shower with the bathtub probably needs some redesigning to prevent the water from spilling out. The rooftop pool at night is picturesque. Not too far away from the main road that you can walk out to look for local food. Yet, far enough that you don't hear traffic to disrupt your sleep. Less than 5 minutes walk down to Jimbaran Beach and right beside are 2 good restaurants if you feel like indulging yourself. A spa place is located right outside the hotel too. Just be careful walking on the cobblestone path as it is uneven. Had an enjoyable and a comfortable stay overall!"

Bali Breezz Hotel
Jimbaran,Jimbaran - View on map
"we decided to stop for one night to Bali Breeze because it's in Jimbaran and just 15min with a taxi to the Bali airport. The hotel is just 3min walking from the beach (beautiful beach of jimbaran). We can enjoy dinner on the beach where we can find different fish salers (you can order fish by weight or ready to eat fish plate). Our guide book said that it's better to arrive before the sunset to have a good table just in front of the sea but we arrive later (around 9pm) and it was perfect (less people) and we can choose our table. The fish was perfect. Bali Breeze is a good place to stay in transit. During the morning we can enjoy to swim directly in the ocean and saw a beautiful boats parade (every morning they came back with their fish). We order a taxi directly with Bali Breeze staff and we arrived to the airport 15 min later. Perfect to enjoy Indonesia until last minute before departure !"

In and around Jimbaran

More about Jimbaran

Jimbaran occupies the southern peninsula of Bali, and it’s a popular first stop for tourists due to its proximity to the airport. Accommodation in Jimbaran includes a few phenomenal luxury resorts that are overflowing with posh amenities. Tourists enjoy ample facilities without giving up the seclusion that makes Bali such a popular holiday escape.

Daily life centers on crescent-shaped Jimbaran Beach, where the best resorts are found. Guest spend most of the day sunbathing, swimming, or playing 18 holes at Pecatu golf course. Meanwhile, the water sports are farther south down the Bukit Peninsula. Surfing and paragliding are particularly popular along this stretch of coastline.

Bali’s biggest traditional fish market is north of the main beach area. Jimbaran has a reputation for seafood, and dozens of cafés and restaurants serve up the day’s fresh catch on the outskirts of Jimbaran market. Of all the seafood restaurants in Jimbaran, Dava enjoys the most critical acclaim.

The main off-beach attraction in Jimbaran is Garuda Wisnu Kencana, a cultural park dominated by a 23-meter limestone carving of the deity Vishnu. Garuda, the mythical bird that he rides, was also carved from a limestone cliff here. The complex includes restaurants and an amphitheater that hosts cultural exhibitions.

Jimbaran doesn’t have as much for shoppers as other resorts on Bali, but it is well-known for ceramics. Jenggala Gallery (on Jalan Uluwatu) displays high-quality ceramics that can be admired or taken home as gifts. Surf shops and a few other boutiques are in the same area.

While most of the hotels in Jimbaran are exclusive and expensive, it’s still possible to find mid-range accommodation. Some of these still offer excellent amenities, but they sacrifice location to keep prices down. The best selection of mid-range accommodation is along Jalan Uluwatu or near the Honorary Consulate of Italy.
