Great Value. Improved internet service”
This is my second stay in the Jin Jiang Tower after staying in quite a few other hotels. Last time I complained about their poor internet connections. This time around they have changed their internet service provider and I enjoyed speedy internet connections. I'm quite happy about their willingness to listen to customers. The Villar rooms remain very nice and spacious; the bed and the climate controls make for one of the better sleeping environments for me. I'll definitely come back again. I do wish I can get free wifi connection in the rooms, but I can do without it for now.

Overall i enjoyed my stay at the Jin Jiang Hotel. this is the Toweer hotel, be sure and understand which of the 4-5 jin jiang hotels you are booking. the rooms were very nice and kept. the restaurant's food was very good and service too. Hotel is close to shopping and food. Nice area to walk around in. the only negative was the gym was 1970 retro.

the building itself is quite old but all rooms have been stylishly refurnished. rooms are very spacious with a large tv dividing the bed and the living area. huge walk-in closet, large bathtub, large comfy bed. i am very happy with the room. however, the sofa was small and stiff. it becomes very noticeable when you have such a nice room. windows overlooking the shanghai city spans across the entire length of the room. no matter day or night, the view was spectacular. believe me you'd feel very good in this room. at the current price, i would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. but if you can't live with a good internet connection, then stay away from jin jian tower.

Jin Jiang Tower Hotel Stay”
The Jin Jiang Tower Hotel, despite its size, is very efficient when it comes to check-in and check-out. Hotel is basically clean and rooms are large enough for multiple night stays. It was unfortunate that the gym, swimming pool and massage areas were closed during my stay. The view from the room is pretty magnificient from the higher floors and the "revolving" restaurant is quite an experience. I would not mind staying here at the next opportunity.

Jin JIang Tower one of the city's 5 star hotel. The room size is reasonable but but the location is excellent. It is in the old part of Shanghai where u can have a feel of old shanghai and it is very near to the metro. The price are a bit lower now a days due to the room are a bit tired. Overall if u are looking for locations with medium expectation of the room then it is ok.

I use to stay at Jin Jiang Tower every time I visit Shanghai. They have reasonable prices although the breakfast is to expensive. There are good alternatives around the corner. This stay, the gym and pool area were under reconstruction, but they anyway prepared a small gym at the excecutive floor. That is service

Good value for money”
Book for superior double but upon arrival the recept was kind enough to ask if I would like to upgrade to a executive room which was really spacious and offer an unblock beautiful view of Shanghai city. The upgrade cost is really little (forgotten how much I paid but sure is little till I forgotten)compare to the huge room and executive lounge access and evening cocktail happy hours benefit I received. Will certainly choose Jin Jiang if I come Shanghai next time.

What a beautiful hotel”
This was my favourite hotel during my 2 week business trip to Hong Kong and China. Instantly I was impressed when the driver pulled up at the hotel entrance. The foyer is so grand and has a wonderful atmosphere. The staff were very attentive. When I was first shown my hotel room on the 31st floor, I thought they'd made a mistake. The room was huge! I had a king size bed, large flat screen TV, 2 seater sofa, office desk and chairs with broadband connection, elegant roomy bathroom and an amazing view across Shanghai

Nice hotel but not what i was expecting”
I have mixed reviews on this hotel. For starters I paid extra money for a deluxe city view room and when I got there the room looked nothing like it did in the pictures. The pictures showed a really nice bathroom with a separate shower and bath tub. My room just had a shower/bath combo which was very small and uncomfortable. The view was OK but to be fair I think there is city every way you look. I was hoping for a view of the Shanghai skyline like in the pictures but I'm not sure which rooms you need to book to get that. The room was still nice and the bed was very comfortable. The only other comment I would like to make was about the location. It's in a nice part of the city and there is plenty within walking distance but it is kind of a far walk to all the metro stations. There are three stations that are all equally a 15-17 minute walk from the hotel. After a long night of sightseeing or when carrying around your suitcase this can feel like a very very long walk.

Great hotel with good service ”
I stayed for 2 nights at the hotel and i really enjoyed it! The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful and most importantly they all speak english. At first, i got a spacious corner room with transparant bathroom window and i dont feel quite comfortable with that so i requested for a change and the bellboy quickly responded my request and passed it to the front desk. Since my requested room wasn't ready, they allowed me to wait in the previous room. 40 minutes later, one of the receptionist came to my room and brought along the new key and sent us to the new room and she even helped us to bring our bags. The room itself comes with good amenities, they have heated toilet seats and they gave us complementary fruits and water. It's easy to find food and most importantly, we could reach the shopping district by 5 minutes walk. I will definitely recommend this hotel and coming back there for my next visit!

good room size, modern deco, but weak shower. front desk and concierge staff require more smiles. they will have to understand they are in the service industry and are the first hotel ambassadors to greet the guests. the hotel is conveniently located on chang le road which is within walking distance to huaihai middle road and the subway. for those who are after trendy lady's fashion, there are a lot of boutiques along chang le road which is also just a few minutes walk away. all in all, a reasonably-priced nice hotel for a short stay.

It is a good experience staying in JIngJiang Tower”
Jing JIang hotel is located very close to the shopping area -- Hui Hai road, about 2 blocks away. The room is newly remodeled and very nice. Especially like the 40' flat screen TV. Good value. However, the lobby is not smoking free, and sometimes, people smoke while waiting for the elevator, which is really annoying.

Great location, well maintained business hotel”
The hotel is a typical 5-star Chinese hotel, i.e not the epitome of design, but functional, in a good location, with a very good, included in the price, buffet breakfast and regular size, well laid out rooms. Free internet and a very helpful, English speaking concierge are a plus. The top floor bar unfortunately is closed which is a pity as it offers a good view of Shanghai.

Big hotel with out of date decor under renovation”
I booked this hotel based on a recommendatation of a friends friend.The features advertised were just not available. The pool,spa and gymareas were under renovation. The revolving restaurant was out of action.the external lift only operated from 6.00pm to 10.00 pm on Friday and Saturday and went to the 3rd floor only or to private area. I blame AGODA for not scrutinising the hotel and checking facilities and condition of hotels wel if at all. This was a most dissapointing stay. I had 2 of my staff from Australia with me on this trip and they were very unhappy with the lack of disclosure of renovations and other problems with the Jin Jiang Tower Hotel. We would not stay there again and I hold Agoda mainly responsible for this decision.
