Excellent”

one of those cozy hostels run by locals and i love it for that. for the location, if you are after hearing the sound and view of the ocean, it is a good location as our room had a balcony overlooking the ocean. however, this is quite far from where the "busy" area is, or where you can get close to the shore. but if you want a more quiet vibe, this location is perfect.

Good Seaview in a cheap price”

We stay in a Seaview two twin bed room. We can see the ocean and feel the wind right at our room without walking out. The kids like the setup of separate sleeping area (need to claim up). Though the facilities may not seem to be top notch like 5 star but we all are okay with it.

Overpriced!”

During my trip thru out Taiwan, I stayed at 4-5 stars hotel for much less than this, if I have a choice I wouldn't stay here again for this kind of money.

Excellent choice for a visit to Kenting”

the staff was extremely helpful with the loading and unloading of your luggage, they ensured we had a seamless and easy check in and check out. the staff was very friendly and especially knowledgeable on the activities and landmarks around the area, he would provide you with a detailed explanation of the entire island while giving suggestions on how you can plan your itinerary. if you have yet to decide your mode of transport while you are at kenting, they have all options covered and all you have to do is ask and they would have it all arranged out for you. the room was exactly as what i was shown on the website and the view from my room's balcony was extremely pretty. the sunset was on full view which we enjoyed every evening along with the sea breeze. i would definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Kenting for a wonderful holiday. you can be rest assured that the staff would do their best to make your trip to Kenting a memorable one.

Nice room, near the beach”

I asked for another room. It is off-season now, so many rooms were empty. Another room, at 4th floor, was really lovely decorated, but wi-fi was almost dead there. So I again asked for another room, cause wi-fi is very important for me. Finally I paid some extra money and have got a family room, which was excellent, it has a window, a huge bed, a big TV, and wi-fi. All the rooms have really nice design, modern, light (besides the room on the ground floor). The owner speaks basic English but she is really helpful and doing her best to please. She even did my laundry for free. She can help with renting a scooter, give a map. For the breakfast there was a very fresh sandwich, coffee, juice, tea. I was also offered other food but I liked the sandwich. The hotel is quite far from Kenting, you need a scooter to go around.

Wonderful hotel with friendly service”

We really enjoyed our stay, The breakfast was very tasty and the service was great. It is close to Kenting without all the street noise. When they saw our large family they upgraded us to a larger room with a beautiful view. I am looking forward to our next visit.

Beautiful view, cramped room. ”

The first thing that surprised me about this hotel was how varied the rooms are. The room you see when you book your room is almost always already taken is huge and overlooking the ocean. We thought we were booking that room (or similar). However our first floor room overlooking the ocean was SMALL, like full sized bed with a little walking room around it small. We were offered to switch to a bigger room that didn't overlook the ocean on the 3rd floor (keep in mind we had a lot of luggage and there is no elevator.) However other than that our stay was nice. We were right by one of the most beautiful beaches in Kenting. Also the hostel owner saw that we arranged taxis to all the attractions that were too far to walk, without us even having to ask. I think she has a driver friend she is helping out though. Breakfast was delicious. Since she owns a diner down the street it wasn't surprising, but we enjoyed it very much. There were many options and the chicken sandwich I had was amazing. Also I should mention... our room at street level had see through curtains... good thing the bathroom was so big.

Above average”

Could do with sprucing up a bit. The people who ran it were friendly but could be a bit more attentive. Location is nice but you need to hire a scooter for Kenting,( though there is a regular bus) for food and other attractions but it's nice not to be totally surrounded by the noise of Kenting all the time. For the money it's not a bad deal.

Pleasant”

We were upgraded as a there was a risk of typhoon and our room was initially located on the ground floor. The new room was larger with a great bathroom! Very clean! The hotel doesn't provide any room service and the room wasn't cleaned during our stay but it was fine as we only stayed 2 nights. Breakfast is in the shop next door, not really great but good enough!

A nice room in Kenting for a rainy weekend!”

We stayed for a couple days, one night. The room meet our expectations, but know that there's no elevator and that the shower and the WC are altogether and not completely isolated. There's no bathtub in this room. Has two nice rocking chairs and a big window overlooking the mountains. It was good to stay inside while it was pouring outside and to have a big space for our crawling baby to move around. There's no restaurant or food served in this hotel (small, only 6 rooms).

Very clean and cozy hotel”

The room was nice very clean with a superb bathroom. Staff helped us a lot organizing our transfer to and from Kaohsiung. But the location was not perfect. It is near the beach but this beach is not suitable for swimming. It also is far from everything, and without transportation you get stuck there. Breakfast was very Chinese style and the same everyday( no hot coffee, no bread, no cereals)
