Old but Convenient with Taiwan Railway”
took a taxi from taoyuan airport to the hotel about nt500. the hotel main entrance is in the middle of the lane with food stalls selling till late nights. the "ah mah" porridge is tasty with chinese style. there is a fruit juice stall in front of the lane. the lane does not look very clean, only walkable with both side stalls. the hotel itself is reasonable good and clean only. it is old with medium maintenance only. typical and choosy person, may not choose this. sightseeing is not in this area. but i am ok. hotel staff is good to help for taxi calling.

Taoyuan is not famous for much except that Shang Kie Shiek and the Koumingtung were based their when they first arrived in Tawain in the early 1950's. It is a bit of a 'grunggee' town these days but the street food is second to none. Try 'chicken-bums-on-a-stick' if your into fatty/salty delights. But the nearby town, come outer suburb, of Yangee has a very modern and impressive ceramics museum. This town was the centre of Tawain's booming ceramics industry of the 1960's and 70's. over all the hotel is nice dan clean”
we stayed for couple of days in this hotel. Front the outside the hotel looked a bit old but the inside was really nice. The downside we have to go down the stair to go in to the hotel so it's quite difficult with a big luggage. The room was very big and really but a bit dark. the bathroom was nice

Big room Hotel”
Hotel has strict guideline on check-out times - ie 12 noon. In the event you wanted a later check-out, they charge by the hour! It seems that the Hotel rent out rooms by the hour to guests for quickies! Staff manners are polite and helpful. Rooms are big and gives the feel of being "empty" although sofas and stuff are also in the room!

Mosquito hotel”
This place was hard to find- once I did, the elevator had a bunch of mosquitos in it. The room was ok but definitely a hotel used for hookers etc. mosquitos bothered me both nights.

located in busy downtown; lots of street food, small and big store shopping, 2 big malls around; have to go through a bit dirty alley; staff greets with warm smiles and willing customer service; room bit dingy and bedsheets rather itchy; can use a renovation; but then again for no frills customers this should be ok

ghost hotel”
this was the first time we stay at this hotel. we arrived that this hotel quite late around 11.30pm. we were being arranged to room. according to chinese culture, we will knot the door before go into any hotel room. so we did. after going into the room, it looked normal. but then, when my wife prepared to go toilet. she saw a hanging lady ghost with red dress sitting inside. she pretended nothing as she has the instinct to see "ghost". this was not the only screen. as we prepared to sleep, we heard children cheering voice by running around the room. all in all, this hotel is not worth of staying. scary....

Cheap room in a good location, what can I say?”
Wonderful location, but that's about it. Staff didn't seem to have any idea what Agoda was, and the room was, well, cheap. Very worn down and old, not very clean, either. Good place if you just needed a place to crash for the night but don't expect too much.
