Basic hotel stay
Bed, wifi, location
Checkin was slow. The room is good enough for 1 or 2 days stay. The bed is comfortable, the room is good enough, and the wifi is working. Everything is just normal, not great. Value for the money that you have paid.

Agreat place - Luoyang
The staff, the room and the location
A chain hotel that provided all that a tourist could want, central location, good clean rooms and friendly attentive staff. handy for local buses but a little further to the station.

Simple, clean and reasonably comfortable
The hotel was great value for money, very clean, and had a comfortable bed.
The staff were very polite and some reception staff have reasonable English. Check in and check out was quite quick. The Chinese buffet breakfast was quite acceptable for me. The room was very clean with a large, soft bed. Currently Jidu Road is a big mess with road works along a large section, so walking along the street is quite difficult and very dirty. I guess when the new road is finished that should be very different. Nevertheless, I had no problems in catching a taxi from there. It is close to a bridge and centrally located, but not real close to any of the attractions. The old town is a bit more than a kilometer away, and similar for the Eastern Zhou Royal Horse and Chariot Museum.

Surprisingly clean and new
Staff was helpful, although they did not speak much English
I did not expect much but this hotel exceeded my expectation in terms of cleanliness and quality. Room was quite new. Staff did not speak much English but same as more expensive hotels in Xian

Basic clean room at a budget price
clean, basic and good price
Jinjiang Inn in Luoyang was all you could ask for from a budget chain hotel in china - clean, soft bed and pillows, and staff that would care to help even when they cant speak english. We had a few occasions where the staff sought out people in the hotel who could speak a spattering of english to help us out, be it getting the wi-fi password or ordering food from the restaurant downstairs. We were very happy with the stay. The hotel is located between the longmen and the regular railway stations which make it fairly convenient to get around. A word of advice - do not go to the restaurants nearby with no english menu's - you will get ripped off!
