Clean, very quiet, very central”
I had read the reviews for this hotel before deciding to make a reservation and they were accurate, at least for the room I had. For the price, the rooms were modern and nicely designed, very clean, very quiet and the hotel was in a perfect position being only a 3 minute walk to the Bund and a 5 minute walk to Nanjing Road shopping plaza. My room did have a window which had a view looking at other rooms; however you couldn't leave the window open due to the cigarette smoke wafting in. In fact, the room having a mild cigarette smell would be my only real criticism; however since nearly every local smokes over there it’s pretty hard to stop. The staff at reception spoke above-average English which really helped and were relatively friendly. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel as value for money given its prime location.

Conveniently located hotel for people who want to walk to the Bund and use the Metro”
This hotel is right next door to the legendary "Peace Hotel". Less than 200 meters walk to the Bund, and Nanjing East Road Metro Station (Line 2 and 10, where you can reach both Hongqiao Airport/High Speed Rail Station and Pudong International Airport, Line 2 also links to Long Yang Maglev Station from where you can reach Pudong Airport in under 10 minutes). The hotel is also within walking distance to Nanjing East Road Pedestrian Street, which has many stores that provide local and international goods. Supermarket can be found in the basement of the department store two doors west of the hotel. The price of the hotel may be slightly higher than comparable facilities elsewhere in Shanghai, but the location is unbeatable.

Excellent location. Very Nice hotel”
The location is just a 3 min walk from the Bund, 6 mins walk to the East Nanjing Road subway and East Nanjing Road. You can also walk to Yuyuan Garden and Shanghai Museum, People's Square. But it will take about 15 mins. The hotel is very tastefully decorated. The room we had had a bathtub, a separate shower area and a separate washroom. The WC uses electronic bidet. The walls of the room were thick and we were totally insulated from the sounds at the corridor. Wifi was stable. We struggled a little with the room heating control. Can't seem to get it right, even when the staff helped us. So it was a little too warm. The staff were polite but not overly friendly. We felt very secure because the room card can only access the floor that you are on. And the door man will escort all guests to the lift to ensure they are a valid guest.

Superb location and great value”
The hotel is on East Nanjing Road (oxford street) with the bund (embankment) 300m away. You couldn't be more centrally located, the metro line 10 exit 7 is about 700m. The rooms are modern, clean and well equipped - the bar isn't too bad for Shanghai prices, breakfast was more eastern than west - the only croissants were on the poster and no cheese for continental or omelettes. We stayed at this hotel twice during our month of travels

Best Location & Nice Hotel”
I didn't expect this hotel after searching few 4-5 starts around the Bund. Every hotel I found either too expensive, old and quite far from the Bun, while this hotel is just perfect for me. It is located just 2 minutes to the Bund, 7 minutes to Nanjing 'Shopping' Street, 15 minutes to Yu Garden. The price is not too bad compare to others, with no Breakfast. The hotel is also clean and quite big with the layout of open bathroom. It is good design, but we don't fancy open bathroom, and separate toilet from shower space. Minus point is wifi too slow and we don't have windows to the street, window is only facing too inner court. But definitely is a recommended hotel!

Location, location, location! ”
Loved the location, just 3 mins walk to The Bund. Stayed 3 nights and every night we watched the dazzling lights of The Bund and the skyline across it. It’s 5 mins walk away from Exit 2 of Nanjing East Road subway station and pedestrian walk area. Classic hotel decor at reception and common areas but room is modern, really clean and bright. Gym is really small but hey, who needs that when you can run along the Huang Pu river. Friendly staff and excellent service. Will definitely stay there again.

Will be returning in the future!”
We will be returning in the future. We flew in from SFO for a good overnight stay but wished we stayed longer. The check in was smooth and they were willing to hold onto our luggage. Please note that the staff may have difficulties speaking and understanding English. Breakfast buffet was worth it (especially the price) and the amenities in the room was excellent. The bed was comfortable with curtains to black out the outside when necessary. Elevators were fast with plenty of bottled waters on the go. Very close to the Bund and the famous Fairmont Peace Hotel. Nice walking distance to the Metro. Very kind staff.

location is very good just 5 mins walking distance to nanjing east road station. just next to off bund with a 5 mins walking distance. hotel condition: exactly the same as the picture shown. room is clean and tidy very well in sound block. quite and comfort grand decoration in hotel lobby staff; polite,kind and helpful the front desk staff escort us to take the lift after checked out which is sweet and surprised

Enjoyed this hotel so much, everything was laid out in such a funtional way inside the room. Universal plugs in the wall sockets so you do not need to find an adapter to charge your devices, and there are plenty of these sockets everywhere in the room. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is right by the Bund (well about 80metres walk to the Bund), and next door to Peace hotel.

Great Stay”
Had an overall great stay at the hotel. Although this hotel is off the busiest pred. street in Shanghai, it was fairly quiet inside the room. The hotel staff was friendly and upgraded us to the one bedroom suite in the hotel. The staffs were professional and friendly. They also spoke decent English. Did not see a gym indicated anywhere but might have missed it. Great location and price if you want to stay close to the Bund.

Bund and about”
Classic looking hotel with updated amenities. We really enjoy our stay here. Its a 5 minute walk to the Bund and metro and there's a foodcourt across the road with many interesting Shanghainese food option. The bathtub was amazing. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Shanghai.

Get out from hotel door , u can see Shanghai pearl tower . The view of quite cool. ”
Room : perfect room. We chose extrem sassy double room type . A bathtub beside bed. It’s cool Breakfast : delicious Location: perfect location , near all with the bund and Nanjin shopping road , subway ... just one station to tour attraction Yu Garden , a lot of shopping near around hotel. PS: the most thing I like is u can see the pearl tower from hotel entrance . It’s sucsh a nice view. A lot of tourist walking around in front of hotel. I’ll surely again next time in SH

Great value for money”
It is hard to found a hotel room in Shanghai that's within budget , within walking distance to the BUND and Subway. The room is very good sized and new. I would come again with my family if I come to Shanghai for vacation.

Great Hotel in Great Location”
Had great experience staying in this hotel. Location could not be better--one direction is to the Bund and the other direction is the Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Very comfortable bed and very modern bathroom. Love the heated toilet seat. Will come back again. Suggestion for the management: Put a sign at the entrance or in the elevator to inform guests that the check-in is on the 2nd floor. I came to the hotel for the first time after midnight. Nobody was around and took me a while to figure out that the checkin is on the 2nd floor.

Exceptional”
The room is bigger than expected and impressively clean. Nothing to complain about the location, literally situated on NanJing East Road and walked to the bunds within a click. We stayed on 31Dec and expecting some lighting show on the bund unfortunately nth going on there, there were ppl all over nanjing road, it's location saved us when we thought we drowned in crowds. Would definitely come stay again next time.

No regrets! About 5-8 mins walk to Nanjing Eats stn. View of Pearl tower is right outside the hotel street and 5 mins walk to the Bund. Hotel is modern and has luxurious feel . We booked the Extreme sassy room which is quite spacious , glad that toilet comes with electric bidet seat. Uncommon in China. Definitely recommended if one wants to stay near the Bund and shopping streets.

The location is very greet , services is fast and prefect. All staff there from bell boy until reception staff is super helpful and always smile. The services is better than 5stars hotel that we stay. U can go to anywhere easily , near train station near shopping mall, near the bund and near food. Hotel room also nice. Is the hotel that i feel most satisfy in this year compare with other few country and few places.

Excellent location ”
We asked for 2 rooms to be adjoining but they do not have that available. Front desk staff offered to get us 2 adjacent rooms but its bigger so we paid extra 200 yuan for 2 rooms for 2 nights which is not bad as we were told the hotel was running a promotion We booked the Super Sassy room and upgraded to Extreme Sassy room which is more spacious and facing the street in front of the hotel. Location is great. From hotel door, turn left to walk 7 minutes to the bund. It may take a little longer as the street is usually crowded day or night.. You can see the Pearl Tower outside the hotel also. To walk towards Nanjing shopping street turn towards your right from hotel. Breakfast area is not big but it’s cozy. Food variety is sufficient. There’s the usual bread, porridge and cereal. The pan fried dumplings are nice.

Great location, very satisfied”
Stayed here with my wife for 4 nights. Location was fantastic, it’s near the bund and along nanjing east road. Lots of shops and malls around and lively at night. It was about 8-10mins walk from the MTR exit 3 so made commuting easy. Attended an exhibition and used the metro for it very convenient. My room also included breakfast which was a big bonus. All in all very happy with our stay there.
