Good location, cheap”
This is a relatively new budget hotel. I had booked a premier suite with window and stayed for 3 nights. The room had a queen size bed and large people would not have much space to move about. The shower was ok. The drinking glasses were not clean when I had checked in. Front desk was ok. Location was good as it was near to my branch office and there were lots of food to eat at night. The SS2 durian stalls are about 200m away but sadly it was not durian season while I was there. Wireless access was quite good, I was able to transfer large files via VPN to and from my server in Singapore without issues. Will return to stay even if my budget allows me to stay at Armada or Crystal Crown primarily because of the location. Food/Dining is rated 5 because of location. Hotel does not have food.

Interesting little spot in the heart of PJ”
We stayed there in November 2012 and it was quite clean. We had nothing to complain about the rooms and the excellent location was a good addition, so we considered the hotel as one of the best choices in the Petaling Jaya area and decided to stay there when we visited Kuala Lumpur once again.

JJ Boutique Hotel SS2 is great location hotel for traveller, for those just a going down can had a lot of restaurant even 7 eleven shop, mcd just a few walk can be reach. beside that i great wall hanging tv , save place for the room, but for the washroom the shower holder is broken but still no replacement for it.i hope that when room service cleaning the room give a report to reservation and change it as soon as possible instead of customer get in the room and saw the broken thing. is make customer disappointed feeling and not convenience when bathing. hope will improved for this. TQ

This hotel is located at the most happening area in Petaling Jaya, the SS2. Every Monday night there is a night market which is very famous in the city, you can found many delicious food and fruits at there. Just a place to sleep and rest”
i wasn't expecting much from jj looking at the price i'm paying, but as a budget hotel jj does okay job to provide what's needed, including a clean room with clean bed, toilet, water heater, tv and so on. only thing i'm not quite satisfied is that the hotel doesn't provide parking lots. knowing ss2, and without reserved parking in front of the hotel, loading off your luggages is a pain.

Clean and Comfortable”
The stay at JJ Hotel was comfortable. The room was clean and shower facility was adequate. The A/C unit was working well. Balcony was nice. Most importantly, the staff spoke good English and was attentive to the customers. I would come back here.

Great Location, affordable price and nice room”
I like the great location of this hotel, it is resides in the center of SS2 which surrounded by various types of restaurants, supermarket, convenient store, banks, and a lot more. Only one minute walking distance to bus stop. So far I had stayed 2 times in this hotel and quite satisfied with the cleanliness and its comfortability. I will still come back to this hotel during my next visit to PJ =)

Overrated really”
This was my second stay at JJ Boutique Hotel SS2 and this time around the experience was less than totally satisfactory/ (1) The airconditioner wasn't working well and the room often became too warm (2) If you're on the 3rd or 4th floor, you have to trudge up many flights of stairs as there is no lift (3) A few extra wall hooks from which to hang street clothes would be a helpful touch (4) There's an electric jug, but no coffee or tea (5) The staff seriously needs to warn guests who drive about the harsh fines imposed on cars parked without a coupon. On my first visit it was a weekend and there was free parking but on the second visit I forgot about the parking system and returned to my car after 2 hours to find a RM100 parking fine under my wiper (that really ruined the whole experience for me). So easy for the receptionists to ask whether arriving guests came by car and then advise them about the strict parking system, offering to take car of parking meters for a modest tip.

Nice hotel with good service”
was happy with our stay at the jj boutique hotel. were there in transit from the cameron highlands and lcct. easy access to the big shopping areas of the north (ikea, tesco, etc.) and fast access to expressways to klia/lcct. the room was spacious and the aircon strong. our shower was broken - a few minutes and a couple of dollars by management would fix that simply. nice location close to restaurants, a park (great for kids), and convenience stores.

A practical choice”
I don't regret booking a room and staying at this hotel. It's a short taxi ride to Petaling Jaya's business center. The hotel provides hi-speed internet free of charge. They also have a water dispenser so you can refill your drinking cup or mug. Eating places are within walking distance. There is a row of hawker stalls in front of the hotel. If you are driving, parking is a bit tight since the area is busy. Situated next to the hawker stalls is a wet market so prepare to hear some noise coming from the market and passing cars early in the morning.

Clean budget hotel”
We stayed in this hotel for a night as we need to attend a wedding dinner around the Petaling Jaya area. It is located in the main Petaling Jaya SS2 area, with shops and food centre/ market nearby but do not expect big departmental stores. It is more of a residential district. The twin room is small (toilet is very small) but clean.

Typical of SS2, it's a very laid-back but busy area. Street parking is a nightmare. A good location if you don't have a car. Taxis were abundantly available. Grab just simplifies matters. The hotel 🏩 is quiet and clean. No muss or fuss. Food 🍲 is easily available from 24 shops nearby. The WiFi is erratic at times. My only gripe is the karaoke next door. Too much noise seeping through. Extension and additional rooms weren't a problem. They accommodated easily enough. Entertainment is problematic for little kids. Bring your own thumbdrive. LED panel TV is easy-to-use.

Small hotel but in a good location”
It is located in SS2 where there are alot of great food places around. Korea food, dimsum, dessert and alot more. sometimes there is also night market set up right on the road in front of the hotel. Great experience for those who miss those old school market selling street food; excellent and unique taste which remind you of the past days. Convenience store just a few shops away, easy to purchase any drinks or toiletries. Will recommend.

Nice hotel, strategic location”
This is my first visit to a boutique hotel. My first impression was that it's gonna be a budget and cheap looking hotel with small and damp smelling rooms. I was wrong! It's an eye opener for me and i really enjoyed my stay.fully recommended for patrons looking for convenience and budget staying.
