Big lack of customer care...”
We spent 10 days at Linsen Self Catering Apartments. Before coming nobody answered my email regarding the fact that the booking was not fully completed. We had to ask the first hotel where we stayed in Mahe to get in touch with them to fix it. Nobody picked us up at the pier when we arrived and we got there by taxy, which was not a problem of course. But then it was told me that they wrote me that they would come to pick us up...i'm still searching for this e-mail in my account...never found it! For the first 2 days we had no warm water until we discovered that there was a button to press on the boiler outside every time we wanted to have a warm shower. It was very pathetic to see some guests living upstairs to come down to press this button every time they needed warm water... Two days later we asked Mrs Linsen to bring us bicycles but she did not arrive at the appointed time or she did not arrive at all, i don't know... so we went renting them somewhere else. In ten days we got the apartment cleaned just one time. Too few with two children i think... At the end we asked for checking out 30 minutes later than official check-out time at 10.00 but it was denied (No new arrivals were there until 3.00 p.m.) Jennifer the housekeeper was instead a really kind person ... Anyway I would not recommend this accommodation.

Maria be honest in life when you had arrived at the Apartments i was there two cause i had been to the Jetty to get you you had took the Taxi i even show you the paper that i do have your name on it, and you told me you sorry its not a proplems. i had check you in explaining you everythings. all was ok. i had even told you about the bike rental. you told me its okay youll let me know when you would like to have the bike. you had never ask or even send a message. your room had been done every day and changing of bed sheets and towels its every 3 days.i will not argued cause when you ask me check out time i told you its at 10am. you had left the laguages outside where it suposed to leave you had gone and we had clean the room for other arrival. i do have clients for checking. you asked me to come and get you ,i had came. every morning i saw you Maria i asked you if all ok you told yes. now you write a review like that !!!for me its not impress me cause yo

The owner is super helpful and courteous. The return shuttle service from the jetty is extremely convenient, especially if you have a lot of luggage. The flat is certainly not luxurious, but considering the price range, it's not easy to find better. However, there is everything you need. Hot water, air conditioning (which you only need at night to sleep better), fully equipped kitchen, good wifi. If I may make a remark the mattress of the bigger bed was very hard, with the springs that you feel in your back, the one of the smaller bed good and comfortable. Simply by changing the mattress the grade would be 10/10. Anyway rating 9/10.

very spacious bedroom, toilet ok, kitchen basic but with all needed. overall was quite clean a part kitchen utensils that we need to wash before using. during 2 nights stay no cleaning service provided.

Disgusting”
We arrive nobody recive us, was all dirty, we boked also the breakfast but we never recive, nobody come to clean o change the towel o riorganize the bed during the days after, so no service, also our garbage was outside of our door for all the holidays and nobody take that, and for 3 days we didn't had hot water for the shower, so is a little corner of hell in the paradise, dont book this apartament...

Nice but it doesn't worth it”
Nice place, located in a strategic place. The point is that they told us about wifi but the connection worked only when in the ground floor (we were at second level) and moreover a evening we found the bed wet, completely full of water: there were a lost from the ground above us. Once we said all this to the owner, she add nothing! She just wanted her money. To be honest? If someone told me that for just 10€ I could get better in another place, I'd move. Ps: no breakfast or dinner was avaible during our stay, instead of what the Lonely Planet suggest!

cheating！they overbooked you for high price, and then thriw you to another much cheap room. far away”
we made reservation and paid in full for three nights. for each night, we paid over $160 us dollars. when we arrived, the owner told us someone else checked in our room. upon arrival, they moved us to another far away property in a rural area with dogs barking in middle of night and rooster waking you at dawn. the room was nearly empty. only two night stands, one bed, and a mini fridge. no shower gel, no shampoo, no blanket, no shower towels, no chairs, no desk. it is only one room in a house. the online price for this is only around 100. but we paid over $160 per night. with young children, we had to walk the long distance in a narrow muddy road nearly 45 degree down and up hills. when we deal with the JML owner, she was very rude and not honest. the review of agoda was fake. At agoda it was around 8 cause the website is new for short time. the JML review at booking.com was only around 6.5. stay away from them. ontherwise, good luck to you.

Well worth the money”
We stayed 11 nights in the end of November 2016. Nice house, nice hostess, pretty garden. We loved the wooden furniture, made by the carpenter working in the garden shed. No hot water for a couple of days, but that was fixed when we informed the hostess. Few kitchen utensils, so cooking your own food wasn´t easy. If you like good coffee, it´s hard to get in the stores, apart from nescafé and capsules for coffee makers, so better bring your own coffee and utensils for brewing. (Don't rely on buing stuff - not much available in shops.) Last, but not least: The day-tour with boat we went on with the hostess' brother, was a wonderful experience.

Low Security cause theft came inside”
Environment is good, big room and garden. A bit far from ferry terminal, but it is fine with bicycle. The most important thing is the Security is Poor. Our cash was stolen inside the house while we were sleeping at night. That's means theft had came inside the house. However, at the first day we arrived, we are sure that we had locked all the windows, then we haven't open any windows, so we didn't check the windows in the following days. And we had closed door before slept. There is no way for the theft. How can the theft came inside and stole things?

Good food, clean and spacious rooms ”
Excellent host. We had taken half board and that was a very good decision as it rained a lot when we were there. Dinner was served outdoors which was romantic especially when it was raining .Everyday there used to be 2 main courses ,rice/pasta, salad and a dessert. We loved the food. Simple, tasty and healthy. Only one down side was the road to apartment. It rained heavily when we were there and the garbage heap next to the road mixed with water to form a slurry which was obviously stinking and we had to walk/bicycle in the slurry to reach main road. Nous avons voyagé à deux, ma mère (60 ans) et moi (28 ans), nous avons trouvé le logement dans sa globalité très bien. Nous avons aimé la localisation idéale pour visiter tout ce qu'il y a voir sur l'ile, également par rapport au port et petits commerces, le logement est très bien. Le coté spacieux de l'appartement est lui aussi très agréable ! La terrasse donnant sur un très jolie jardin fleuri est très sympa ! Enfin, la gentillesse et amabilité de la gouvernante est très bien. Toutefois, en terme de propreté, cela peut être amélioré (exemple : ustensiles de cuisine sales : poussiéreux ou collant). Également, la climatisation a fait énormément de bruit (elle craquait comme si elle allait exploser), elle a aussi un jour fuie et fait tomber des glaçons . Malgré cela, nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce logement :)

Buona la posizione, e buono il Wi-Fi , per il resto pessimo! Sporco dappertutto, servizi descritti inesistenti. In 5 giorni di soggiorno non ci hanno mai cambiato gli asciugamani. Illuminazione inesistente, x trovare le cose dovevamo usare la torcia. Pieno di formiche. Nessuno a cui chiedere informazioni.
