Super friendly and the place is very clean!”
If you want a clean and affordable accommodation, try Joaquinn's Bed and Breakfast! The owner and staffs are very friendly! Their location is very near from the port where you will ride the boat for your island hopping. But what we enjoyed the most is their island hopping package! Ms. Angel took care of our 2 days Tour. She gave us a crew that are very friendly and nice! Aside from being our tour guide, they are also excellent photographers! They know how to take great photos! When we were in the small lagoon, kuya dan and jimmy also rented a kayak just to take our photos! They managed to follow us around the lagoon. When we got back from the island hopping, we've checked the photos, and all of them are amazing! Thank you Joaquinn crew for making our El Nido trip a memorable experience! :)

Home away from home”
My sister and I had a great time in El Nido thanks to very helpful and thoughtful staff in Joaquinn's. The front desk officer not only made sure we had pleasant stay in the hotel but also ensured that we are well taken care of during all our tours (island hopping, underground river tour, inland tours). He recommended us great restaurants, message places, arranged transportation and all logic for our tours. This is more than thoughtful. Thanks to him we could enjoy and try many aspect of life at El Nido. We will surely come back. There's regular blackouts but the B&B has generators so we always had lights and at least the very powerful fan in the room. The room is with AC and it's very comfortable. Their Philippine breakfast has great verities to choose from so we tried them all. They have no tap water so we shower with processed/filtered sea water (we guessed because it's slightly salty). This is not problem to us. The drinking water is provided at every floor. It's purified and completely safe. During blackouts we still had water in our room, so no worries. We stayed for 8 days and our blankets, sheets and towels were changed 3 times. Each time with different color scheme so we were surprised. Daily house keeping was very thorough. We felt we had a brand new room everyday. The B&B has their own boat for island hopping tours. It's quite new and well-maintained. We were the only group that did island hopping with music which was really a plus. We will surely come back the next time.

Superb location and friendly owners”
Location is perfect because it's only a few steps to the wharf where the island tours start and only few meters to the restos and bars along the beach area but away from all the noise and loud music. Our room has the basic necessities, aircon, hot shower, fan, and toiletries but there's no hair dryer and electric kettle for cofee/tea, which I look for in a hotel room. But of course, we only wanted a place to stay for this trip so we didn't mind. Anyway, there's always hot water at the 3rd floor if we wanted to make coffee. Our bathroom has no shower curtain (between the shower area and toilet bowl), so water was all over everytime we took a shower. But these flaws were compensated by the owners who are very accomodating and friendly, they chat with the guests and the female owner even shared her snack with us and we got to drink free coffee before we left! Because we checked out early and went island hopping, the owners let us use a bathroom to wash up before our trip back to Puerto Princesa, not to mention that we deposited our luggage at the hotel for free! We had a wonderful trip because of the amazing islands and beaches of El Nido and of course, because we stayed at Joaquinn's Bed and Breakfast.

Great service”
Stay was great! Bed was comfortable, and room was clean. The staff was super helpful-- prepared all our day trips for us, as well as our transfers. All we had to do was tell them what we wanted to do and pay at the end. Real smooth, and made our quick stay easy. Location was great----near the beach where you ride the boats and also near the town center where all the restaurants and shops are. Breakfast wasn't a lot, but was good enough. Only problem was the late night transfer, which was rather packed and uncomfortable----but that wasn't the fault of the hotel; rather, the operator (Miroju/Mirohu?). Joaquinn's made sure we got to the resort well and also got our van out. Overall, I would recommend Joaquinn's and stay there again.

nice place and comfy beds”
The location of this 3 storey bed and breakfast is very accessible to any type of activities you want to experience in El Nido, Palawan. It is a short walk to the wharf where the outrigger boats used for island hopping tours pick-up their passengers. Restaurants, bars and souvenir shops are a few minutes walk. The twin room where we stayed for four nights has a balcony with a nice view of the Bacuit bay. It is quiet at night that we're able to sleep well after a tiring day of island hopping. Hotel staff are warm and friendly. Their complimentary breakfast though it has a limited selection is well-prepared and served at the third floor which has a stunning view of the limestone cliffs and the ocean. Stephanie and Lucille are very efficient, attentive to the guests' queries and arranged our island hopping tours smoothly.

Nice friendly place”
First the niggles. The standard rooms are rather small, epecially if you're a couple with 2 big suitcases. And the wifi is really not reliable. Now the good: Maricel and her team are super helpful and friendly and will go the extra mile to ensure that you are happy. When my partner was taken ill, Maricel accompanied us by tricycle to the emergency doctor at 10pm, waited until the consultation was done, and accompanied us back to the B&B. Her team helped us in all kinds of ways and generally ensured that our memories of Joaquinn's are very happy ones. Also, the breakfast was fine and is served on the roof terrace with lovely views across the bay to the islands. And although the rooms are small, they're clean, with A/C, fan, TV and hot water. Joaquinn's has its own generator for brown-outs, allowing the use of lighting and fans. If you want to be looked after by really nice people while in El Nido, Joaquinn's is a good choice. If the lack of reliable wifi is a problem, the Art Cafe is 2 minutes walk away and has free wifi and decent espresso.

Perfect Spot + Great Staff”
Located just outside the port so just perfect if youre going to El Nido through ferries. Its just in a right distance away from the beachfront to not hear all the noise from the bars and restos but close enough that youll get there in just 1 to 2mins walk in case you wanna hangout or even shop. Its also very near the plaza where you can find fresh seafood cheap enough to have a feast every meal. Place is cozy and very clean. The Staff are amazing. Friendly, helpful, and have great sense of humor. I'll definitely recommend Joaquinn's B&B to anyone. Thank you!

The Best in El Nido”
Joaquinn's is the best Inn in El Nido. It is ideally situated near the port as starting point of all the Island tour, as well as walking distance to all good restaurants. Staff were fantastic and arranged all that we need. Out stay was great because of our good customer experience with Joaquinn's.

Directly to the port, close but quite to the lively streets of El Nido”
Like most hotels in El Nido the price is too high, but comparing to other hotels the value for money can be rated as good. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. If you emphasize of being connected to the online world, you should know that the hotel didn't offer WiFi-access and the public network is very poor at the hotel location, especially on the ground floor. In the room I didn't get any network connection, in the front of the room only Edge-speed. This is a bit disappointed if you also just want to use a messenger to communicate with other people staying on an other location in El Nido. If you don't take care about that, the hotel is recommended from my side.

Very comfortable stay and great location”
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very helpful in assisting guests with their needs (i.e. arrangement for transportation, island hopping trips, etc.). The free breakfast was filling enough. Rooms look, feel, and smell very clean and they do room and toilet cleaning everyday. Most of all, the location with its backdrop of the karst rock faces that El Nido is famously known for was just perfect. Facing the sea, you get a nice view every morning as you take your breakfast. Also, as it's on one end of the waterfront, it's peaceful and quiet, away from the noise of the bars located further along the beach. Even so, it's just a quick 5 minutes or less walk to any part of the town and has easy access to shops, restos, food stalls, bars. Highly recommended place in El Nido!

Fantastic stay, warm staff, great value for money”
This place is FANTASTIC. First of all, like many of you – I couldn’t find any research about this place on TripAdvisor (and trust me, I am a heavy TA users). But took a chance and stayed here for 4 days. Had a great time!!! Paul (the owner) and his family staff are incredibly warm, friendly and hospitable. The place is fairly new (opened in April 2013) and is very clean. Much better than the other run down, mixed-review B&B places in the same price range. It’s about a 2 minute walk to the Art Café (which tends to be the main hangout) and 5 minute walk to more center of town (e.g., near the Reggae Bar). To be honest, you do not want to be directly on the beach in main town of El Nido, because other than the view, it’s quite dirty. Joaquinn B&B rooms and common areas are very clean. Recommend you book the boat tours with Joaquinn - they are all the same, so might as well go with a trusted source (ask for Ricky, he is a fun guide). Hot water was good enough when the electricity worked. Can’t emphasize enough how friendly Paul is. His family took great care of us and even invited our group to a family party. We met with several other travelers from USA, France, Italy, Netherlands during their stay and all mentioned how wonderful the Joaquinn was.

go there and meet this amazing family”
I must say that we planned to stay only 3 nights there and we found ourselves extending to 6 nights. Mainly because we couldn't thinkn of staying elsewhere in el nido... The staff is so friendly and amazing. They are a family of good souls that we were so impressed by how they helped us when we really needed them ( motorbike accident). And I think that's the case where you an tell when a staff is good and caring. And they are. The rooms are so clean and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is nice and they will ask you at the evening before what would you like to have in the morning. They will take you out for tours and will chat with you at the bacony or to the reception. We would really come back. It was so nice to meet you all: Paul, Marcel, Dreamboy, Jeffery, Jefferson and all the rest of this so welcoming place.

Comfortable and Family Orientated Hotel”
This hotel just got listed on Agoda and I book a stay here without reading any agoda reviews. The rooms are clean and the location is near to Artcafe and the main street of El Nido. A very convenient place to stay. The hotel is run by a friendly family and they are willing to help you with any requests. I suggest any visitors to book the islands tour with the hotel directly as they also owned a travel agency, its much more convenient this way. Try to avoid staying on the ground floor though as its very near to lobby and you can hear people walking and talking early in the morning. Try to get a second floor room instead. They have ample hot water supply from the shower room but due to El Nido scheduled power cut off in the morning, you can't take hot shower in the morning. THis hotel is worth it for its price and location.

Best hotel in EL Nido”
It is amazing hotel. Very good location, near the pier, 3 mins walk from Art Cafe. Very nice building, new and clean. Very good people: Dreamboy and Maricel. I had never faced with such friendly attitude and willingness to help. There is a restaurant on the 3rd with nice view of the harbor and mountains. I went through all El Nido and came to the conclusion that this is the best hotel to stay considering combination of all factors. They also arranged A.B.C tours and trip to Nacpan beach with good discount. I was surprised that the discount they offered was better than I asked for!!! Highly recommend to stay there.

My stay at this hotel was very nice, the employees are so nice and so helpful!! The breakfast is also nice and makes you full, it's a perfect start for the day! Then they can arrange the hopping island with their own boat, I strongly recommend it!! The tour A and C are very good and the lunch they prepared for us was amazing!!! I definitly loved my stay at El nido and the hotel was perfect!

Felt like home! ”
Pros Location is perfect close to port for tours. Only a few minutes walk from main strip but nestled in a quiet spot near the port. Value for money is excellent here, rooms are clean and very safe. Genuine lovely honest helpful staff! Stephanie (Princess) the manager saved us so much money on tours and organised an amazing private tour for us. Thanks Princess x Lucille was also very helpful and friendly. English perfect. Thank you Jaoquinns for making our time in el nido perfect! We will definitely return soon! Cons. The wifi isn't good because of the beautiful rock cliff face in front of the hote (which is a beautiful view actually), however there is a internet cafe located about 1 minute walk away so it's fine!

Highly Recommended”
I think this is by far the best bed and breakfast in El Nido. The staff are the best there is! and they have their own island tour rates which is cheaper than the others. Booking with them is not a problem. They even help us arrange the van transfer from PPS airport(upon request+van transfer fees) and back. Food is great! Room is clean and spacious. We didn't have AC during the day but you will be going out for your tours anyway. By the time you get back AC is back on. Overall it was a great experience! Thank you!

It was good choice!”
It was so good to stay this hotel! It is located near port and it takes like 10-15 minutes walk from the place which has many bars and restaurants. So it is very silent at night time. There is a delicious restaurant 'Blue azul' very near from here. And the next there is a great massage shop in front of Ipil hotel! I will stay this hotel if i go back to Elnido! El Nido is a truly paradise even if it was a rainy season haha
