Perfect little getaway on the beach”
The hotel is next to the beach and the rooms are spotless. It's a short walk down the beach to the main area of Senggigi. I really liked the location because it's quiet and you don't have to deal with any touts on the beach but it's also close enough to everything. It really felt like we had our own private bungalow on the beach. I didn't book the beach front bungalow but I could see the ocean from my bungalow which was a nice bonus. TV and Wifi worked good although the power went out a few times. Overall, it's a charming place and I would say it is by far the best place around in the price range.

A small relaxed place to stay.”
We stayed 8 nights at Joje. The staff did what ever possible to make our visit relaxi g. The locals are warm and friendly to deal with. For the price who could complain. The new chef certainly delivers some good meal chooses. Breakfast a bit light but tasty.

A wonderful stay”
I really liked my stay at JoJe. It's kinda small but really nice, with a pool and on the beach. I stayed in an ocean view bungalow and it's so nice to hear the ocean from within the room. Renting a motor scooter is really a must for easy exploring the island. I would absolutely go back.

Best value for money hotel in Senggigi ”
Loved everything about this hotel. The Garden View room we were in was spacious and comfy. Loved the open air bathroom. Beautifully landscaped garden and inviting pool was just opposite our room. The beach was just 20 steps from our room. Loved having breakfast by the beach every morning. To bad it was too cloudy on the days we were there or else the sunset views from the beach side cafe would have been amazing. A bit further from the Senggigi shops & cafes but taxis and cidomo horse carriages are very easy to get in front of the hotel. Minus points - there were mosquitoes in the room & the mosquito net over the bed had gaps from the bed's edge so it didn't help to keep the mosquitos from biting us at night.

BEST PLACE TO STAY IN LOMBOK ”
ARRIVED 1 DAY EARLY RUKA THE OWNER GAVE ME A BEACHFRONT ROOM AT A REDUCED RATE THEN SAID I COULD STAY IN THAT ROOM AGAIN THE SECOND NIGHT AND NEVER CHARGED ME A PENNY MORE THAN MY ORIGINAL BOOKING PRICE. THEN GAVE ME A POOL SIDE ROOM FOR THE NEXT 2 NIGHTS. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT AS I HAD BOOKED THE CHEAPEST ROOM THEY HAD BUT NEVER EVEN SEEN IT THEN RUKA SHOUTED ME A SEAFOOD BANQUET WITH HERSELF AND HER FRIEND JERRY ON THE BEACH THE STAFF WELL WHAT CAN I SAY ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC HELPFUL FUNNY.I CANT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH I FEEL AGODA SHOULD PUT THIS PLACE MUCH HIGHER UP THERE RATING SCALE. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AWSOME PLACE TO ANYONE GOING TO LOMBOK

I reccomend to book bungalows overlooking sea or garden and I totally don't recommend to book cheapest standart room option if you don't want to be disapointed. The staff is nice and helpfull, they have massage on site, direct access to the beach, relaxing place and good option in senggigi.

Lovely hotel with excellent service”
We booked the hotel only one hour before our flight to Lombok, so we didn't expect them to get the request for an airport shuttle... But we were glad to see our names between the crowds. The ~1h drive was very comfortable (not usual in Indonesia) The hotel is pretty small and has only a few simple rooms, but the service was better than in any other Hotel in Indonesia... and even better than in Marina Bay Sands 5* Singapore :D The food was great and even better while having it at the private beach. The rooms are basic, but clean and loving decorated - Very romantic for couples, but also as friends we enjoyed this lovely atmosphere. The value for money is unbeatable - Jo Je Boutique & Bungallow is the best choice in Sengiggi!

Great homestay to relax”
We had a great stay here! First of all, very frindly staff: immediately upon arrival, we asked if we asked if we could use their phone to confirm our booking with the (fast) ferry company. Without hesitation they called the ferry company for us. A little later, when we were relaxing on the nice beach (with bar and restaurant) in the backyard of this bungalow 'park', we asked if they could make a picture of us. Again, without hesitation, he started making a complete photoshoot, with shots from many different positions. Furthermore, when we asked if they happened to have a ball to have some fun on the beach, he even invited us for a futsal (friendly) match that evening! This staff really made our stay very special. Second, the location is great: it's right on the beach! Furthermore, the neighbours (i.e. also on the beach) have a very good restaurant! Third, they have a swimming pool for some refreshment! Also open for use at night (if you are quiet of course). Fourth, the price is very good for this accommodation! In sum, we can definitely recommend this accommodation!

The standard room was smaller and didn't have a view but the hotel grounds were small enough that it didn't matter anyway - everything was just a few steps away from the room. Beautifully landscaped garden and inviting pool nearby. There was a spa next to the room but they didn't have a masseur available while we were there. The beach was just 20 steps from our room. Loved having breakfast by the beach every morning. To bad it was too cloudy on the days we were there or else the sunset views from the beach side cafe would have been amazing. A bit further from the Senggigi shops & cafes but taxis and cidomo horse carriages are very easy to get in front of the hotel. The beach front room seemed like the best one to stay in.

The location was strategic. The room was good and satisfactory. Only the privacy section need to improve since Joje has it's own private beach and the management staff need to control of the people that always come to Joje Beach to sell their products to Joje's customers that will create uncomfortable to Joje's customers. Overall was satisfactory.

Amazing stay”
The staff here were lovely, really went above and beyond. The rooms were really clean and well presented. The surroundings were jo je start quality the pool and gardens were lovely and it is literally right on the beach. The beach bar has loads of beanbags on the beach, which is great for watching the sunset and the food was amazing and really cheap. Best place we stayed in 3 weeks in Bali/Lombok

Absolutely fantastic - staff were incredible”
The staff at Jo Je couldn't do enough. From serving us with our fussy breakfast and dealing with our no sugar/vegan requirements to keeping the room clean, helping me with my trip arrangements and just being really nice and accommodating made it a really nice stay. The beach view and the beach itself was one of the best beaches I've walked on and the sea was so nice to swim in - even though you get beach sellers coming up and down and its black sand its a really nice beach to walk on. My only issue was with who I think was the owner staring at us quite intensely as we discussed a day trip with a tour operator (not part of the hotel). This was off-putting but other than this I would 100% recommend this hotel as it's really nicely maintained and the beach location is fantastic - nicely enclosed to with a posh restaurant and swimming pool at the other end.

we come with 3 persons, we got a very big room. our backyard are senggigi beach . its a very romantic hotel to stay. everything seems simple and back to natural. everybody are friendly. love this hotel.

Small friendly hotel”
Small friendly hotel of 5 rooms located directly on the beach 15 minutes walk south of central Sengiggi. Our sea view bungalow had a lovely view, and although there was the usual rubbish on the beach, the area directly in front of the hotel was swept each day. The ocean water was clean. Breakfast served on the beach was lovely and cooked fresh to order. The room was spotlessly clean and had an in-room safe. The swimming pool was very small but attractive and there were a couple of bean bags for relaxing. The staff were very friendly and attentative.

Great location”
Hotel location was great with nice view and the room is clean. The bed is nice. It's very close to the beach and feel like have private beach. Even we can have breakfast or dinner in the beach. The only bad thing is the electricity was off during I stay there and unfortunately the hotel has no enough genset to replace it. So, it's on off on off several times. overall is good bungalow and i will stay there again if visit Lombok in the future.

One cannot expect more. Great logation right next to beach (black sand), beauiful and functional bungalows with nice outdoor bathroom and mosquito net. Lovely atmosphere. Had a welcome drink and beautiful floral greeting in room.

My 4 nites stayed at Joje was ok. Nothing to complaint for the price that we paid. The Staff were super friendly and kind. I was glad to have known them.

5 Private Bangalows with own Private Beach.”
All in all it was a pleasant stay especially with this guy (grown up orphan) Arun who took care of me from day one. He was the only honest one who gave me back my change. I saw him the only one working all day, while the rest of the outdoor staff simply idle around. Beware not to hand big Rupiah notes, as the night staff keep saying they have no small change. This is one sure way to get a tip, I thought. Overall, JoJe Boutique Hotel is value for money, compared to extravagant rates other hotels charge with little difference.
