A small beach resort with a humorous and relaxed atmosphere, Jungle Beach Resort lives together with a variety of plants and animals in a natural setting. Directly in front of the 90-meter beachfront is a big coral reef, offering perfect conditions for snorkeling. For licensed scuba divers enjoying shallow photo dives from the beach, the dive corner provides tanks and gear.
The beach restaurant offers European and Filipino cuisine. Homemade bread and pizza from the wood-fired brick oven and genuine espresso complement the menu. While lounging on the exceptionally spacious verandas, guests can choose from a huge selection of card and board games. If you would like to explore the surrounding area, there are two motor scooters for rent. And even in the jungle, guests will also have access to Wi-Fi Internet.
With the little boat, Jungle Beach Resort offers diving and sightseeing trips. The staff will gladly accompany guests on short excursions to the local waterfalls. For paddling, the two outrigger boats can be borrowed. Discover a friendly, family service and be surprised about a growing array of additional features like free snorkeling equipment, darts, and more.

Good place for jungle and a natural beach experience.”
We had a peaceful stay and the staff was great and very down to earth, they were all around helpful and the home cooked food served was nice! Perfect place if you appreciate nature and silence from the city. Walking distance to good waterfalls for swimming and jungle hiking. Jungle beach resort also let you borrow a small boat if you want to swim further in the ocean. Definitely going back here again in the future! Thank you George and Desiree for good hosting!
Lovely place and very welcoming hosts. Outstanding cooking by the misses! Super relaxing. ”
All was great, the beach is stony though so not suited for just swimming but with rubber shoes it's great for snorkeling. Apart from the food the best was Gina :) the fun dog! She'll demand you to throw stones at the beach all day!
The highlight of our holiday”
Our stay at Jungle Beach was so nice that we extended it for another night. OK its a bit off the beaten track, but thats the secret of its charm,as well as the quaint little bungalows in amongst the trees.Desaree cooked the most amazing Phillipino food in a beautiful setting on the beach, and George was such a good host and a laugh that we relly could have spent our whole vacation there! The sea in front of the restaurant was so clear, and ideal for snorkelling and although the beach can be a bit rocky in parts we managed a 3k walk no problem. If you love the rustic lifestyle and are not put off by a few mosquitoes (it is Asia after all) and want some chill time in beautiful surroundings then this is for you, places like this are few and far between these days, and would not hesitate to recommend it to all.....we will be back someday George, thanks for everything...Steve and Jo....UK
We stayed in the A-C cottage. That was a Nice place. Bed was hard. The food was excellent. The resort is in the middle of nowhere, thats Why Its Nice and quitte.
Wow! Beach, Jungle, Corals, Falls and food. The Philippines in a nutshell.”
Just beautiful and relaxed I can really feel the Philippines. Huge area, lot of privacy, long private beach with corals. Nive animals, specially the diving dog Gina, haha. Waterfalls in walking distance. And......great food. All in all an exceptional experience. Much more than i expected from a 2star resort.
Nice and secluded. The manager is so nice and helpful. The coral reefs right off the beach are amazing, the hotel has snorkles and shoes to use. Bring cash drinks and snacks because there is nothing close. Also, because it is secluded and has dodgy internet service they could miss agoda reservations. Phone them to confirm your booking. Also, discuss what food you want to eat at their restaurant so they can buy the ingredients from the market before you arrive
Jungle Beach Resort is a paradise! Good food, nice people, friendly pets, luxuriant plants and so forth. I would like to take this opportunity to thank George, the owner and to the rests of the staff for being so accommodating especially Ate Desiree, who is really good at cooking.
I stayed in the native cottage and as it is described it is very basic. However taking In account the price and the fact that a delicious breakfast was included I think it is a fair price. Towels, soap and shampoo were provided. Room has a comfortable bed and a very small bathroom. Note that insects, geckoes etc can get into the room!!If you like nature then this is the place for you as it is rustic, quiet and private. The restaurant is right next to the beach. The beach has some sand but quite a few stones too. The ocean and coral reef were lovely. Also great was the fact that this place is small so it is almost like having a private beach Dinner each day was buffet..400 pesos. Personally I would have preferred a la carte. If you are not an animal lover then this might not be the place for you as there are dogs, monkeys and a cat around.
A piece of paradise in a home away from home ”
We had a five night stay at Jungle Beach Resort and fell in love with it in the middle of a rainy typhoon on our first day. As the week progressed the weather also improved making every day better than the one before. By the end of the week, perfect is the only word to describe our surroundings. Jorge, Desiree and the team were amazing and friendly hosts. Nothing was ever a problem, as they went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. The resort is small which makes for a very personal stay with everything adapted to suit your own wants and needs. The accommodation is simple but tastefully decorated with many personal touches to make this resort very different from anywhere we have ever stayed before. The variety of food and drinks available was incredible with everything made fresh and with the love of a home cooked meal. The clarity of the water and the coral reef directly in front of the resort was stunning with so many varieties of fish. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful resort with an amazing personal service then look no further than Jungle Beach Resort. I would highly recommend this resort to any of my family and friends. We will definitely be back for another holiday hopefully in the near future. Congratulations to Jorge and the team for creating a slice of Filipino heaven in a very peaceful and stunning location. Thank you for a perfect holiday.
Lovely service, clean huts and peaceful location.”
We had a wonderful stay at the Jungle Beach Resort. The value for money is fantastic as you have a whole beach hut to yourself and they aren't in close proximity to the other ones. We stayed in an air conditioned hut on the beach and loved the privacy and location. The manager was lovely and went out of her way to help us. She provided excellent service. She also cooked delicious Filipino food! (We happened to be there when there were puppies which was also a bonus. ) Thanks for a great stay!
Quiet, peaceful, emerged yo nature”
Joe and Via are very friendly and helpful, they made us feel very welcomed there. The resort is in the middle of no where, so be prepared for transportation if you want to move around or from/to the airport. On the other hand, it's perfectly quiet, green, we had the beach for ourselves and could do snorkeling anytime during the day. The bonfire on the beach on a full moon night was really beautiful. Kids would love playing with the crew of dogs & cats & ducks & turkeys there. Overall, very nice stay for our family
Nice, out of the way place. ”
We wanted to stay 3 days away from Puerto Princesa, but not make the 6 hour trek to El Nido. So we chose Jungle Beach. It is about an 1 1/2 taxi ride north of PP, located on the north end of Honda Bay. It is a lovely location, with all sorts of available activities--e.g.., snorkeling, canoeing. Or, you can just chill and look at the water, like we did. Accommodations are pretty basic, but that's part of the ambiance. Our hosts and the staff were awesome, and the food was outstanding. Oh, and please play fetch with Gina the wonderdog. I would definitely recommend Jungle Beach to Palawan visitors.
Lovely, beautiful and amazing. I found my Paradise!!”
Beautiful place sorrounded by natures. Plants and animals. The wave sound plays the peaceful music that you definitely want to hear every day. The sea is blue, calm and clear. Great hospitality from the staffs. The foods just superb.
A hidden gem”
It was one of the best experiences of my life, I travel allot and as a traveller you do not see places like this anymore, and you can find them then they are 5 star and you pay through the roof for them, you can not give anything under a 10 for this hotel, the owner and the staff. It feels like you are on holiday at a friends beach house.
A must see hidden gem!”
It was everything we expected and more. Definitely worth the trip to Palawan. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. For anyone who loves animals this place is a haven with dogs, cats and a monkey who is always entertaining. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive to your departure and are willing to help you make the most of your holiday. We can not give enough praise for this little slice of paradise and would be happy to return again in the future.
Perfect Food and Perfect Hospitality”
Despite a mix up with our rooms when we arrived (which could have possibly been an agoda issue) the staff at Jungle Beach Resort did everything they could to help us settle in and rectify the problem. Desiree, who is the owner, chef, tour guide and all round lovely woman, cooked for us every morning and every night the most delicious food we could have asked for (and also catered perfectly for vegitarians). Located right on the beach front, we had access to snorkel equptment and paddle boat to explore the coastline as we wished, absolute paradise, with amazing coral reef right infront of the resort! The Jungle trek to the local waterfall is a must too! 40 minutes walk and you can be swimming in paradise. On our last night, we were forced into a fun night of karaoke which topped off our stay perfectly. Jungle beach is also a great place to stay for any animal lovers with kittens, and very friendly dogs, and even a beautiful baby monkey always hanging around. A very unique and beautiful resort, we couldnt have asked for any more. MUST GO BACK!
Wonderful holiday ”
Our two weeks stay at The Jungle Beach Resort was amazing. Host & Chef Des, along with George the owner and all staff made us feel like one of the family. You can do as much or as little as you like with numerous activities available. Snorkelling and viewing the coral, fishing, boating, swimming at the nearby beautiful falls or just laying on the beach not to mention the hilarious karaoke nights as we all sang like "strangled cats". The meals are plentiful and delicious, Des's hamburgers are to die for with reasonable pricing all round. We found the accommodation clean, tidy and well appointed. Thank you Jungle Resort for a truly memorable holiday, WE WILL BE BACK!
A Tropical Paradise”
My fiancee and I arrived late at the resort, but we're met immediately with exuberance and friendliness from the staff. Desiree, who runs the Jungle Beach Resort and is part owner, made sure we weren't hungry and offered us refreshments. She is one of the friendliest and outgoing people you'll ever meet and she prepares the best foods you'll ever eat. Sporting a pet monkey on her shoulder, she made us feel like family and doted on us. We stayed in the Banana House, which was clean, comfortable and private. It had air conditioning and WiFi and a large walk-in shower. We could hear the surf and could see it from the porch. The entire resort was well decorated with a tropical, jungle theme, by the hands of the talented Desiree. All of the buildings were done like the traditional Philippine cobu huts, with palm leaf roofs. The Cabana was a comfortable gathering place, where you'll eat delicious foods and drink refreshments, of all kinds. It's right on the beach, with Tamarine and coconut trees around it. You can swim in the surf, but you have to wear shoes, which they supply, because of all of the coral. It's primarily a diver's beach. If you're looking for a high rise hotel, don't go here. In my view, I can stay in a hotel anywhere in my home country, of the U.S.A. if you're looking for a great experience, that is more rustic, natural and friendly, yet with good creature comforts, then this will be the place for you!!!
A fantastic experience at this small intimate resort. 90 minutes by bus from Puerto Princessa it is a great place to come and just relax especially if you have come from manic Manila and dusty Puerto Princessa. Stayed in a Papaya Fan House which was basic spacious and clean with a good sized balcony looking out to the beach which was 30 meters away.Included was breakfast which was huge and delicious and because of its size meant we did not need lunch. Dinner for 400 pp was great value by way of a lovely buffet. There is good snorkeling 20 meters of the beach and you will be joined in this by the resorts every present friendly dog. Last mention goes to the staff, wonderful Desi and her staff in the kitchen and your host with the most the delightful Jurge. A memorable experience.
Me and my gf had a great stay at Jungle Beach Resort. Rooms are nice, environment is nice and staff was helpful and fun. The animals are lovely. Especially Gina and the cute baby monkey. Food was amazing. Beach good for snorkeling but not for swimming. Nice waterfall not too far away. Easy to get there and get away :)
