Find hotels near Jungmun in Jeju, South Korea

We arrived in Jungmun and was greeted by the huge complex that was the Lotte Jeju and had high expectations straight away, and the interior and the room did not disappoint at all. We were given a free upgrade to an enormous suite that came with a spacious balcony (albeit facing the car park). The suite was luxurious and well-maintained, and the bathroom was so huge that you needed a good 7 or 8 steps to reach the WC from the twin vanity. The pool area was huge with windmills, zodiac sculptures and a nightly volcano fountain show, all seemed a bit tacky, but not overly so. The location was fantastic being in the center of Jungmun with the teddy bear museum, Ripley's, restaurants and a private beach just stone's throw away.

Hotel was so clean throughout the rooms and facility, it was a pleasant stay! Their customer service was also awesome, greeted by staff from parking lot, and assisted with luggage all the way to your room. Staffs were so polite and kind. Made reservation from 2 different company and there were miscommunications with doubke booking, when I inquired, hotel staffs were very courteous and prompt with responding and assisting with issue occured. Their follow up service was amazing !! They were even avle to trace back call history and assist. I would rate this hotel 5/5 for their professionalism in serving customer with their clean facility and excellent customer service!!

Private pool was great for kids. The staffs were very kind. Restaurant was also nice but needs to add some more diversity on the menu. I had a chat with the chef and found out that he has his own farm in the resort, and most of the vegetables he puts in the food are grown there by himself. Maybe it was the reason why the vegetables in the salad felt very fresh like they were just picked from the farm. I could not find many things to enjoy around the hotel. It took about 12 minutes to Jungmun Resort Area by driving. My wife and my kids are all very satisfied and would like to visit again.

Three of us stayed in the twin room and it was spacious and comfortable. The sea view was great and relaxing. The buffet, coffee shop and bornga(bbq restaurant attached to hotel) was delicious and value for money! Especially the bibimbap and bbq at bornga is a must eat! Staff are fluent in English and very helpful. It's close to bus stop or you can ask the reception to order a taxi for you.

Stayed at the Teddy valley resort for 1 nights. The resort however, is approx 10 mins outside of Jungmun centre. However, if you want to retreat from the world, you will love it here. Check in was quick and the lobby area is full of lovely teddy bears. The room was simple (I liked that), but large and with all amenities required. Bathroom was large with a big shower area, balcony was a good size, with great views of the forest. Wifi worked well. AC worked well. The bed was big and comfy. The restaurant had beautiful nice surroundings, where the Sanbanng mountain was overlooked. The fresh sea urchin Bibimbap, we ate for dinner in the clubhouse, was also good. It was the most enjoyable dinner of my life. The gym was decent, and my partner had a swim which she enjoyed. Staff were attentive and service was good, although the hotel does make a considerable mark up on taxi's booked through themself or airport transfers. Overall, a wonderful stay in a truly special hotel, which if a little closer to Jungmun centre would be near perfect. A really great hotel.

For my first trip to Jeju Island, I took a lot of care to choose the most interesting places and also a place to stay where I can explore the island without much problem. To choose to stay at Benikea Jungmun Hotel was the right choice, the location is right in front of the ocean, and of course it is right beside the Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls one of the must stop in Jeju, everything with a friendly distance of walk, I highly recommend it! The breakfast has a lot of options from Korean to American style, I highly recommend it!

It is located in the heart of Jungmun, hence you can spend 1 night here and go to all nearby attractions within a day (Yeomiji Botanical Garden, Teddy Bear Museum, Jungmun Beach, Cheonjiyeon waterfall etc). If you prefer for a relaxing/slower pace, you may consider to stay for 2 nights. One of the disadvantages to stay here is you are unable to experience local culture as this is a tourist district. You still able to try local foods, but price will be at the higher end. Personally, I would suggest to put 1 night at Seogwipo city if you are on tight budget as it is not too far from Jungmun.

I would said the resort leave me with the best accommodation for this trip. I was worry when i book here initially cause it is far from Jeju city/ airport. ~45mins taxi ride because we are not driving. The stay leave me with good feeling/ right choice as it is still in short taxi ride to the attraction for most of area we wanted to explored at the south area. The family Julie and her mother is a very helpful person. Although her mother only know how to speak Korean but we don't, she still spend efforts to drive us to place with better meal compare to a nearer restaurant to the resort. Julie very nice too as she help to go thru my jeju travel plan and provide recommendation for the day really required full taxi and also make the arrangement with best rate for us. I really want to thanks for Julie & her mother for the help. The resort located in a very nice area, given a great view for sunrise. Can also see the sunset from swimming pool area. Highly recommend Sun & Moon.

Clean and neat place for family. Superior room has a double and a single bed, can easily fit 3 people in a room. This hotel has a warm water indoor pool which is free for those who stay in the hotel. Also surrounded by forest, you can go for a walk. Not in the central area of Joongmoon, a car is required to dine out or to visit the beach. Its restaurants are okay but slightly overpriced for the taste and quality.

I saw this hotel for a long time, every time when I visited Jeju. Always had dreamed to stay here, and I did finally!! Hotel garden is beautiful, so fantastic view with Jung-mun ocean. But when I entered the room, so disappointed. I'm traveling quite a lot, I stayed from basic hotel to five starts. This hotel price is almost 5 stars, but room inside looks like 2 stars. Very small, not clean looking, hard bed, weird towel, no complimentary bath stuff (only shampoo/conditioner they provide), minibar looks also very disappointed. I can say everything in the room was quite low quality. I never stay here again, when I'm considering the price. If you want to stay at hotel garden for a long time, you will satisfy this hotel, but if you need any comfort, then please do not choose this hotel.

Staff are English friendly and if not they will do their best to communicate with you which made things easier for us. Hotel is close to several restaurants ( and attractions in the Jungmun area (waterfalls, pacific land, Museums), if driving, so a car is recommended when staying in this area. There is only about 4-5 restaurants near the hotel in terms of walking distance. Overall great stay, hotel photos are nicer than actual rooms but the rooms are fine either way.

I booked Booyoung hotel on line on Agoda.com at around 6 pm, took a flight, arrived at the hotel after 10 pm. When I was checking in, I showed the front desk the Agoda confirmation email with a full payment, but they would not honor it. They told me to run my credit card otherwise, I will not be able to check into the hotel room. The following day, when I was checking out, they asked me to sign the room charge. I had no choice but to sign, otherwise, they are considering me trying to stay over night for free. I signed, and now I see the Booyoung hotel charge showing up on my Credit card statement in addition to Agoda.com charge. I informed Agoda.com customer service, and I hope to get a refund. Otherwise, the hotel is nice, the staff members courteous, the location is good, and it is a nice hotel (for those people who do not have a billing problem).

The hotel room was new, clean and spacious. The hotel is not on google maps, and the hotel's phone number could not be found on the in-car Korean GPS. You can reach the hotel though by entering the hotel nearby, Snob Boutique Hotel Jeju (064-738-3555). Similar to most other hotels in Korea though, it lacked a washing machine/dryer, and did not even have laundry service. However, the hotel staff was very helpful in finding us one nearby. There is a laundry shop at this location Cheonjeyeon-ro 214 (064-738-8474) and there's a self-service laundry just two shops away at a lower cost.

My stay at the villa with my extended family of 10 is pleasant and memorable. The villa is off the city which is not a problem as we have rented a vehicle. It comes with 4 rooms which is just right for us. Each room is nicely decorated and the high tech toilet seats are the highlight for us. The automated flipping of the toilet seat, the seat warmer and the music that comes along upon sitting is just... pure enjoyment!!!! The entire floor is heated to warm our cold feet during the winter. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, stove, utensils, cooker and pots...and the most amazing thing is the Samsung fridge which dispense ice and drinking water!!! Felt like a queen!!! As its located slightly up hill, we experienced snow!!! The children can play with the snow in our garden safely! There is FOC airport transfers which I really appreciate. The staff are very friendly and very professional! I would love to stay there again if I ever go back to jeju!!!! Although its pricey but I must say it is worth of every single cent!

jeju is said to be a place known for 3 things: winds, rocks, and women. i'd like to add one to the list - hospitality. the staff provided us with impeccable service – they are warm, polite and always ready to lend a hand. regardless of the time, they would promptly assist us with arranging for transportation and admissions to various attractions based on our requests. we would also like to extend our gratitude to chef kim sae hoon. going above and beyond his duties, he doubled as a translator and a concierge (i must add that he very patiently researched on places of interest when we ran out of ideas)! he even picked us up one night when we left the resort for dinner at a restaurant nearby, because it was too dark to walk back, and personally sent us off to jungmun, the following day, to get a cab to the airport too! as a service provider myself, i know and i have the ability to recognise sincerity and passion for service. a job well done, y resort. p.s. if that doesn’t sound good enough for you, check out the view.

Modern building and room, nice gardens and swimming pool. Friendly staff. Good bbq service (for 15k they provide a ready to use bbq and utensils). Only downside was lack of a proper bath mat and no shade for the sun loungers by the pool (the umbrellas there are fixed and poorly placed offering no shade at all!). It's also worth mentioning that this place requires a car! It's not within walking distance of Jungmun Resort. Nevertheless would definitely like to stay there again!

We really love the hotel! Only if u drive else this hotel is totally inaccessible. Then again in jeju what fun is it if u don't drive! Anyhow one advise is to try to drive to iro before sun goes down as the road to the hotel is dark and u will travel downhill to a small town whr iro pension is together with a few other small b&b. Once u reach the little town, u cannot miss iro. It's woody theme appearance is very catchy and pretty! Gives u a very modern feel. The owner checked us in and we booked their one & only suite which can sleep 6(3bedrooms). He told us the hotel is 1 yr old. When u enter the suite, it's super clean neat white and cosy like going to a home. If u know the brand Muji, it is that can of feel! They even provide a samsung fridge w kitchen to cook if u like. If u want to BBQ, can do it at the balcony too! A pity we stayed for a night only. The toilets are super nice and lavish! Shampoo & soap provided are for amoore pacific (if u hear of brands like étude and laniege is all from amoore) only downside is the towels r not the bath towels but the smaller ones though am sure if u ask for more they can provide. The place is very well kept. For dining, there is a supermart abt 5 min drive away and near the minimart there are a few restaurants which is yummy n not very ex. It's a very friendly neighborhood and I really liked it!

Stayed with my 4kids and was a perfect location and great space for my big family. The facility was old and low quality but I did not have any expectation for the low cost. Staff were very kind and had a little issue with my booking system was not settled when I checked out. But finished very smoothly in the event. Location is perfect if you really like to see the great nature of Jeju. You can also take a walk nearby facilities garden and etc. Close to beach and sightseeing spot. Two thumbs up for any tourist.

We came at night where typhoon hit Jeju at that time, we were lost due to the weather and since we took the bus before, but we contact the owner and he is really helpful to try to book a taxi for us. After arriving at the stormy night he wait for us and help to bring our luggage's. The next day when the Typhoon still strike Jeju, we still wanna explore the island, then we are about to walk to the bus stop but then the owner borrowing us umbrella and he drove us to the bus stop freely. The wife of the owner also really kind, she help us to make a call from her own phone. The owner are really such a kind hearted people. It was really nice to stay at their place. Also the room allow you to cook, since it have stove, microwave and others kitchen stuff. I really recommend this place for you who like to explore Jungmun area, or Camellia Hills.

The staff was extremely friendly. I arrived late on my first night and they assisted with ordering food from a delivery service for me (tasty chicken, pizza, and beer). After that, it was down hill. The AC unit in the room couldn’t be plugged in as it’s mounted too high above the door. The WiFi had issues cutting out on me and I couldn’t connect all my devices. The location is out in the middle of nowhere and difficult to find taxis to both drop you off and pick up (though again, I was able to have the staff help me, which was very kind). The pool and surrounding area was under construction. There was really nothing to make this a “resort”. I’d definitely not recommend this place.

This property is part residence and part hotel. Room is actually a 1 bedroom apartment. It comes with kitchen but sadly missing pots and utensil. At least there's a washing machine but panel is in Korean. There's quite a number of eateries around. As we are only staying for the night, it suffice to say that it exceeded my expectation. Further there's a traditional market just next to the hotel but don't operate until later in the day. Overall, it's a good place to stay if you're exploring the southern and western coast of Jeju Island. Just remember parking lots is limited so you might have to park along the roadside.
