OMG! Nice place, incredibly helpful staff”
My stay at K.D.M Residency was a great pleasure. We got so much help from the staff with organizing taxi's around town, where to eat and so on. I would have scored staff 6 on the scale if it was possible. Rooms and the whole place seemed brand new, fantastic bed maybe a little bit to small bathroom compared to the spacious rooms. There airport transfers back and forth where in time which is quite impressive for Thailand. The price was way lower than I would expect for a place like this. I REALLY LIKED THIS PLACE!!!

Great Place, Cheap Price”
Initially we had a hard time finding the hotel. We asked one taxi driver who had no idea where it was and drove away. The second taxi driver had to call the hotel and ask for directions. It is down a maze of one way streets that branch off from a main street across from the Don Mueang Airport. Our hotel room was huge with a huge bed and large windows lining two of the walls, a definite plus for fans of natural lighting. There were two desks, a large closet, a cushion topped shoe shelf/bench, a TV, a TV stand with shelves,a refrigerator, and two bedside tables - plenty of places to put stuff. There were many lighting options for the room which included wall sconces, recessed lighting, and overhead lights with dimmers. The free airport shuttles depart at 4 AM, 5 AM, and 6 AM - however, if everyone on the list for a particular time is ready early, they will leave early. Note that these are the only shuttle times available, if you need later times you will have to call a cab. We were very pleased with the room, the hotel's proximity to the airport, and the low price.

Great if you have early flight”
Great if you want to be near Don Mueang Airport we stayed here as had a very early flight, no shuttle bus as promised as they only do 3 times in day and as we were leaving at 7am no chance, it was hard to find down a few back alleys, wouldn't like to find it late at night, no cafe or bar so couldn't get a drink, but room and bed were nice, bathroom small, for size of room why didn't they make bathroom bigger with walk in shower, you don't need all the cupboard space they have. WiFi not great either. Ok for one night.

Cheap... Value for money.. ”
It is very near from Don Mueang Airport. Taxi costed me 130 bhat including the airport fees.. There is a 7 eleven with in walking distance(please check maps through the sidewalks) It wa value for money. Few things you might miss... First of all no lifts and secondly might see some cockroaches running around...

This is our third time to live in this hotel.From Don Mueang Airport to it only costs about 10minutes.If your flight is very early in the morning,it can provides airport drop-off service.And it's free.The room is very clean.There are two 7-11 near the hotel.I will come to this hotel again next time.

Cheaper alternative to close to airport.”
Now that Don Meuang Airport is international again, I'm always on the look out for a cheaper hotel than the (Amari - which is directly across from the airport). KDM is about a 5 minute taxi (free trip back to the airport we got) away. There's not a lot there as you are in suburbia, but I think overall I managed to save about $70 AUD as a result of staying there. 5 minute walk to a 7/11, but no chance I'd do it at night, but I'm a bit cautious. Rooms were super big, bedding good enough for anyone I think. Staff were professional. First room I had the aircon didn't work. I asked for a new room, after about 2 minutes of "we fix, we fix" (yeah I know how to use a remote), me: "no thanks just another room would be good", they changed my room. So I was happy about that. A guy staying there walked from the airport and he looked very tired, so if I stay there again I think a taxi is a good idea. I walked over to the Amari and got a taxi there, much easier than getting one at the airport. Ok, would I stay there again? Yes, but depends how cashed up I was. If I had a bit of coin to spare if just stay at the across the road and walk to the airport (I have done so about 5 times now). If your looking to just bunk and move on, KDM will most certainly meet your needs. Their shuttle leaves early, they know the flight schedules.

Excellent...Excellent Hotel!!!!!”
This hotel/Residence ROCKS!!! I would definitely stay here again and again. Close by the airport and great prices per night. The staff was very courteous and friendly. Very clean facilities and rooms. They went out of their way to make my wife and I pleased and comfortable. The only downside is that is quite the drive to the shopping areas but other than that this hotel is GREAT for the money. Thank you to the staff for letting us stay with you. My wife and I were really impressed and very happy to have stayed in your hotel. A++++++ all the way.

Very good airport hotel for Don Mueang”
We had an overnight stay at Don Mueang and therefore the hotel was very good. Just ten minutes by taxi away from the airport (130 baht). You get free wifi-internet and a free transport the airport (at 4:00, 5:00 and 6:00am). Rooms are quite big and very clean

Very Comfortable...BUT......”
The small residence - not really a hotel as such - is almost impossible to find unless you or the taxi driver know the way - it is tucked away in a very small side street reached by several turns down small narrow alleyways. But there are helpful signs to guide you. The best way of getting there is to have their phone numbers handy, phone them and give the phone to the taxi driver. Another good tip - ask to be taken to the Wat Don meuang - over the rather buy road from there are a number of side stalls mainly selling food and drinks. But there is a motorcycle taxi stand in amongst the stalls and the drivers there all know the Residence - even better, they will take you down a series of connecting passageways too narrow for cars, save you time and land you at the doorstep! All for 15 baht! it is also worth noting that unlike the taxi drivers in the centre of bangkok who seem to disappear around sunset, these men were still operating at 11.00pm at night so that when I returned from a concert I was able to get back easily. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and courteous ensuring that for me a taxi was waiting at the time I had requested. The Residence also operates an early morning free shuttle to the airport which at that time of day takes just 15 minutes - the roads around the airport are under repair and reconstruction as a new Sky Train City link is being built and during the day it can take a very long time to negotiate the various road work obstacles. The bedrooms are spacious by city standards and although the washrooms are small they are still good and serviceable. There is no lift which is why the Residence would be considered 2 star - so that anyone who is disabled might encounter difficulties. I would recommend this establishment to the adventurous, agile and relaxed traveller. The small and friendly ethos makes a welcome change from the larger more impersonal and rather offhand other places in the area. It is a great contrast to them and worth a visit.

Good for an overnight stay before a flight”
I had an early morning flight from Don Mueang Airport and could use the free transfer at 4a.m. I was not dropped off at the airport but at the railway station. Had to haul my bags across the rail tracks and up a ramp. It was manageable, but not really what I expect being called an airport transfer. The room was nice and clean. Die to the small bathroom the shower was mounted right next to the toilet, but that's not too unusual in Thailand. For me it was okay and with the price I paid I would stay again.

Nice Guesthouse, difficult location”
This hotel is listed as 0.56km from Don Maung International airport. And while it might be that far away as the crow flies, it is extremely difficult to get to. My taxi driver had a very hard time locating the correct street and while there are some small signs with arrows when you get in the right area actually finding the guesthouse was very difficult. I ended up walking through a neighborhood, past soccer fields and around a few corners on foot, because the taxi couldn't get through. However, when I arrived the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean and had all the necessary amenities for a quick stay. So if you are looking for an economical place "close" to the airport it is a good choice. But you might just want to have your taxi driver call the hotel for directions!

Clean, Convenience, Comfortable ”
Good for transit on a budget. rooms clean and comfortable,taxi needs address and phone to find it . but Luggages are needed to take up stairs without elevator. Overall I enjoy my stay. Without doubt, I would definitely choose K.D.M. Residence if need a transit from Thailand again.

Excellent”
The hotel is clean and tidy and very near to Don Mung airport, It is perfect as a 1 night stay as a place to stay before travelling from DMK. The best feature for me, was the car park there. It is covered, very large and locked - very secure. It costs 100 baht a night, first night free as you have booked a room there. The room is OK for one night, clean and functional and costs around 700 baht. The hotel is very hard to find even though it is very close to DMK. There is a free shuttle sevice to DMK, but it only runs at 6am and 7am. Taxi from the hotel to DMK is around 100 baht. I stayed there 1 night and parked for 9 days and the cost for parking was 800 baht. I was very pleased to stay here overnight as we had a very early morning flight to Korea and it meant we did not have to miss a nights sleep with all the extra travelling to DMK, Very relaxing and stress free (well reduced anyway!).

Close to Duen Muang Airport”
At first I was surprised to see the location, think "Bangkok Dangerous". But the actual hotel is a good building, nice rooms, clean. The shuttle to the airport very convenient. The only reason you want to stay here is if you are traveling from Don Mueng early in the morning; there are no other goos alternatives, do this is the best there is.

Very clean and comfy”
Only good for staying if you are catching a flight at Don Mueang, or on business. Free airport shuttle certain time of the day too!! Clean, comfortable, large rooms. If bed doesn't help, pillows will put you in a good sleep. They have big billboards and a few signposts from the main road that you will need to walk through small alleys. That is less than 100m. On of the cheapest place you can find in the area. Just be aware that you have sort out your meal and drink outside where there are not many options.

Great for an overnight stay close to Don Mueng ”
This is a perfect place to stay close to Don Meoung Airport. The receptionist is friendly and welcoming, the rooms are very clean, there is an outdoor area where you can sit outside. We walked from the airport to the hotel, it's not super close, but we don't mind a walk, and it is sign posted well. There's a 7/11 close by and a little shop by the football pitch behind where the man loves talking to foreigners and will sell you beer when the 7/11 can't (between 2pm-5pm). For dinner we walked back to the main road, there was a pop up restaurant selling chicken and chips or fish and chips for 50B. We had an early flight in the morning and were able to take advantage of the free shuttle transfer back to the airport (only go at 4am, 5am and 6am from memory).

Gut hotel”
Gut hotel near the Don Muang airport. Comfortable and well furnished rooms. The hotel offers a shuttle to the airport for the early flights. However, if you want to make tour in the city, the location of the hotel would be inconvenient.

Overnight stay hotel”
KDM is located near Don Mueang airport but it is hard to find for the first time because of narrow twisting roads in an old housing district. The room was large and very clean with a big screen TV. For english speakers, there were only Thai TV channels. Since we only stayed one night TV channels were not an issue. The airport drop off service was free for the very early morning times of 4 am, 5am, and 6am. After that they charge somewhat more than a taxi service for the Van. Overall this hotel is a good budget hotel for Thai people but could be difficult for non Thai speakers.
