My stay of 5 nights was rather disappointed compared to my stay 2 years ago. At check in there was no reception apart from a printout stuck to glass window. Then had problem with opening the room door then once in the room.....the toilet bowl is stained and drainage of the sink was broken and the water just splashed. The following morning ...there were not breakfast and when I called the number at reception I was told to help myself by opening the fridge. Then we met other guest who had the same complaint regarding room facilities. Hope they will get their act together and improve 1

No staff ready in guesthouse!!”
Our impression to the staff in guesthouse is horrible, as he is not in the counter when we arrived. We call ed the staff via phone. Wait for very long until the staff pick up the phone. We would like to ask if possible to check in 1-2 hours early, but the staff just reply rudely via phone mentioned check in 3pm. No luggage store room, he just asked us to put luggage in front of counter, without anyone look after. We stayed for 4 nights; no cleaning for the room. We need to take a new towel by ourselves everyday. Throughout my stay, I never see the staff in the counter of guesthouse, which is really inconvenience when we want to ask some information. My check in also via phone, the staff give me my room no and passcode. Last thing which annoying me the most is when we wanna leave during our last day of stay. The staff didn't mentioned anything in the beginning about how to check out. I assume that I just leave my room before check out time will be fine. I took out my luggage from room in early morning , then walking around the city. When we come back to take luggage, finally we meet the staff in front of guesthouse building, which he claimed himself he is the owner. Look arrogant and asking us about check out and room no. If you want to know who check out, pls stay in counter and always available for your guest. I was wondering the comments given by other guests in the wall of guesthouse about the friendly staff. I don't feel it. There is some day of my stay the breakfast without jam and milk. Overall, the room is clean and new.

A little out of the way but price is alright”
The place may be a bit hard to find for some people and takes a while to walk to the main shopping areas in Dongdaemun. Good if you're a student and on a budget though.

Small room and attitude of staff bad!”
When we made the request to change the room, the staff's attitude was very bad. He rejected us directly without listening to our concerns! Bad, no more next time! Room was small! Can't even open two luggage at one time! Small bathroom! Dirty bed sheet! Think twice before you move in!

The room was small but the beds were very comfortable and everything looked clean and in good condition. The guesthouse is in a good location close to the subway.
