great location, clean, helpful staff”
100 m from the bridge with an excellent viewing location for early morning and Oike park 150m as well. 200 m from on onsen for after biking and hiking. bike rentals are 150 yen an hour and in good condition. I have stayed in K's before and alll locations work hard to keep a clean and well run facility with helpful staff.

Great place to stay”
I was welcomed and could use the lounge, the kitchen and the restroom and put my luggage in the storage room until check in time at 3pm (there are also lockers you can use with your own lock). The kitchen is very big and modern and the lounge is really nice with a bit for everyone (tables+chairs for eating, sofas for relaxing and a kotatsu for the japanese feeling). The bed and room was clean (you have to do your own bed but that is fine for me). Lockers are in the room - to use with your own lock. You can easily walk to the bus stop and the supermarket (lawson is just around the corner and there is a big supermarket a bit up the hill). You can also use the onsen of one of the hotels for 900 Yen - which was really nice. Staff was always very friendly and helpful.

nice lounge area to chill ”
It's a pretty decent price for a good accoms. I stayed at a 4 bed shared room- but it was just me. It was really really cold that day (-1 degrees Celsius) but there was a heater in the room and it worked really well. The blankets were thick too! The best part was the lounge area- it's really big and comfy. There's a shared kitchen and shared toilet which was really clean. So place wise it was really good. Location wise- it's a 5 mins bus ride + a short (5mins) walk from the nearest bus stop. But the bus doesn't come very regularly (there's a schedule). And the first bus only comes at 950am, the last bus is at 6+pm. So if you plan to stay out late or leave early, you'll have to walk to the kawaguchiko station which is about 20 minutes away. At night it's quite dark. However, it's just a short walk to a lawsons and walkable to the bridge.

Futon is the best”
Guesthouse is convenience and full of facilities. Location is a bit far from convenience store and other attractions. When coming to lobby area, it is a bit hot with many people. Shared bathroom is acceptable but hair dryer is not enough and it is not full of power that make some trouble of long hair ladies. Price is a little bit expensive with the room and service and facilities we received.

Almost excellent!”
The room I picked was a japanese-style room for three. Room was clean and spacious, but the heater was a bit slow to warm up the room when the temperature drop at night. Staffs were English speaking. The common room and kitchen were PERFECT (the best I've seen along my travel). You can also rent a bike from this hostel (150 Yen/hour; 1000 Yen/8 hour). Around 20 minutes walk from Kawaguchiko-eki and just a few minutes walk to Lake Kawaguchiko. There's also Lawson nearby the hostel. If you're lucky enough, you can see the "Reversed Fuji" on Lake Kawaguchiko at around 5.30 am ;)
