We booked for 2 nights, but added one more because it was so good. I would have stayed longer. The view, the staff, the room, the food, all excellent. Elephantine Island is magical and Kafana made our stay perfect.

If you do not stay here you will really miss something. The room was cozy and extremely clean and the location, view, and food fantastic. I am a woman traveling on my own, and sometimes have problems with male hotel staff in Egypt. But here I felt really welcomed and safe. Mr Kafana is one of those unusual people who is truly kind by heart, helpful and had a great sense of humor. And big plus for the vegetarian Nubian food - I will miss it and the view.

酒店在岛上，需要搭渡船才能到达。老板在码头等我们到很晚，并且提供了到酒店的免费私人渡船。公共渡船价格很便宜，从酒店到公共码头需要走很长很困难的一段路。私人渡船很棒但是价格比较贵。酒店非常小，设施也很简单，但是非常干净，非常暖心。酒店老板非常热情，非常勤劳，也非常绅士，会详细地介绍推荐各种行程，虽然价格有一点高，但是从不强迫你接受。酒店的餐食味道很好，价格相对当地来说比较贵，但是味道基本对得起价格。感谢酒店老板尽心尽力地招待，让我们在异国他乡感受到了温暖，也感受到了诚实、准时和遵守诺言。这一点在很多埃及人身上很难看到。
