Wonderful Kakadu Lodge”
Everything we needed was here. Piping hot water in the showers, lovely clean room with good air con, a well equipped kitchen in which to make our own meals and well looked after grounds and pool area. It was a perfect base for us to explore the wonders of Kakadu National Park. The nearby town centre of Jabiru has a good supermarket and other useful facilities. There is also a very nice lake here to walk around and check out the fruit bats in the trees. In the evening, be sure to watch these same bats - hundreds of them - fly over the pool area at Kakadu Lodge. It's quite a sight! Prices for meals at the lodge's Bistro are a little pricey but the food is very good and, as I say, it is possible to make your own meals in the excellent kitchen. Thoroughly recommend :)

Exceptional”
We booked through Agoda and received excellent service from them when we had to cancel our last night and had our money refunded without any problems. We will use Agoda again. We stayed in a cabin at Kakadu Lodge while our family camped. It suited our purposes and was an excellent arrangement.

Great family accommodation”
Exactly what we were after for a 1 night stop over in Kakadu. We didn't spend much time in the room, just a quick swim & off again to the Yellow Waters sunset cruise, then back for dinner & bed. It had everything we needed, comfy beds, kettle, toaster, plates & cutlery & fridge for breakfast as there is no b/fast offered at the restaurant. The dinner we had by the pool was sensational - best meal of our trip to the NT. The only negative was that the sprinklers turned on at 3:30am and sprayed hard against the metal walls and woke us all up. I'd say it went for about an hour. Could've been timed better but didn't ruin our stay. I'd stay there again for sure.

Good location, comfortable stay”
We enjoyed our stay here. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Basic amenities available. Shared bathroom. Only part which to note is the noise the fridge makes and the way the air cond operates without a remote control. Or maybe the remote is missing from our room. Good location to set off for different activities around Kakadu. Lovely pool. Shared kitchen available. Hot showers.

Only an overnight stay.”
We only stayed in the Kakadu Lodge overnight in a cabin but our stay was quite comfy. There were sufficient utensils etc in the cabin to cook a home meal if desired, or a microwaved packet meal at the least so leave the 2 minute noodles home. A good selection of tv channels and good Optus mobile phone service. Only about a 25 minute drive to Ubirr rock art/lookout for the sunset which is an absolute must!!!! Don't miss it! At AU$270 a night it was a bit too expensive, even though it did accommodate two adults and a child. Make sure you keep the insect screen shut on the front door at all times to keep the mozzies out as mozzies were quite thick in patches throughout Kakadu.

Good place, but so expensive.”
(+) Room is a bit small but nice. There was a table, wardrobe, fridge. Soap & shampoo provided. Shared bathrooms and toilets were clean. Pool/bar area is really nice, pool is quite big and there is a huge umbrella protecting it from sun or rain. (-) Wifi not free. It seems like it's like that everywhere in Kakadu, but everything there was terribly expensive: room, restaurant, groceries, ...

Camping in style”
One may make one's own meals in the available kitchen or eat at the restaurant by the pool. Great food. Fans and air conditioners and refrigerators in the rooms Kakadu Lodge offers.

Came up short of expectations”
We hired two cabins for my husband and I and our adult children. We stayed three nights and found it to be a great base for touring Kakadu. It was lovely to have a balcony and self cook and dine there with the family. Unfortunately, the cabins are a bit substandard. They are old and tired with very basic amenities. This is ok except the price they charge is way too high for what you get. Admittedly we stayed at the peak of the peak season but it was too expensive. The box airconditioning rattled all night, the bathroom was dangerous and would be challenging for someone a bit overweight and vanity too small. It's 2 1/2 star at best with 5 star pricing. The barbecue was dirty and gas ran out half way through cooking. The attending staff member was full of attitude. There is competition across the road so might be worth having a look at that next time. I'm a Darwin local so will definitely be back to Kakadu. We stayed at the Crocodile hotel last time. I preferred Kakadu lodge due to the self cook and balcony option. Crocodile hotel is too old and dated.

Convenient hotel”
We stayed at Kakadu Lodge during our trip to Kakadu National Park. All accommodation in Kakadu NP are quite expensive and the choice is very limited. Our room was quit basic but clean and comfortable, we have got all we need and there is noting we would complain about. If one day we go back to Kakadu National Park, we would be happy to stay again at Kakadu Lodge

nice stay in the middle of Kakadu”
I stayed three night in the Studio Lodge and I think this is the best quality price solution for a comfort stay in the Kakadu Park (two rooms for more space, private bathroom, equipped kitchen). The restaurant is also really good.

Upmarket Caravan Park”
I spent two nights in a basic room at the Lodge - utilising a shared bathroom/shower facility. It was a nice clean room, and was quiet. I would definitely stay again. I had dinner at the restaurant one night, and although the barman/host was a bit dismissive, the food was more than acceptable.

Above average”
Lodge room was WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! No bathroom!!! We are currently staying in very comfortable accommodation which is very clean, air conditioned and only $80.00 - with a bathroom!!! Kakadu Lodge need to review their pricing.

Good location if visiting Kakadu National park & Ubirr”
This is a good location if you are visiting both Kakadu National park and Ubirr -- and didn't want to travel to Cooinda . It is abit pricey but I guess as a remote location it is to be expected. The room though small is good enough and clean and cool ….

Nice Stay”
Good and clean place with a nice pool nearby and a restaurant with good food. Movie screenings are also done near the pool. Good place to rest. Near Kakadu bakery as well.

Southern Australian Escape”
OUr stay was good. The Lodge is very clean and quiet although full, this is because they space their cabins well - no over crowding for this lodge. Have all facilities that you need and a great pool area. The food at their restuarant outstanding.

Beautiful spot, but somewhat expensive”
The location of the Lodge is excellent. The pool is good fun after a hot day. Facilities are really good and functional as they should be. Watch out for the stars at night - a stunning view!

Good”
Stayed in a lodge room for 1 night - basically a functional, clean room with access to shared showers/toilets and kitchen facilities. OK value for money but don't expect too much. Good pool and reasonable bar/bistro for meals - there few options in Jabiru. Would recommend to others but with reservations.

Overpriced for what you get.”
Stay 2 nights in a 1 bedroom cabin. It is fairly small and looking a bit tired. Could do with an upgrade especially for the price you are paying. It has a kitchen with basic utensils needed. The shower was tiny and I am a petite frame, as was the vanity. Strong smell of gas outside the cabin. The pool area was nice with a bar and restaurant/cafe. We didn't have a meal there so can't comment on the food. Good place to base yourself for getting around Kakadu. Not much open in the shopping centre. Supermarket was well equipped and there was a newsagency.

Just adequate ”
The cabin we stayed in was very over priced for the accommodation provided, but at the same time was some of the cheaper accommodation available in Kakadu National Park. The national park is great to visit, but the businesses and government seem focused on gouging ever dollar they can from tourists (it cost $60 for 2 seniors to enter the park). The restaurant at the park was adequate with meals on the expensive side but not outrageous. Overall could only be described as adequate.
