Great location”
Stayed with my family of four at a hotel that I've been interested in for a while. The room had a great view of Enoshima and the Shonan coast, and the breeze blowing into the room from the balcony was cool and refreshing, making us feel like we were outside the whole time. It would be great for families with small children even during peak season, but I thought it was better for a family trip with college-aged children during the off-season. It was a hotel that made me want to use it in various seasons from now on.

Hotel room alil dated but everything g is clean and in working order. Rooms are big with best views and they have a shuttle to the train station. Only thing is you have to pay for Carpark which is 1000yen per night. Bummer

I walked from the nearest station to the hotel to leave my luggage, but the staff at the front desk kindly informed me about the shuttle bus and inclined elevator. I was very happy that they cared so much. I would like to visit again if I have the opportunity!

Great hospitality, location, and staff!”
Nothing less expected from a Prince group hotel. We went to the hotel via car, but access should not be a problem even if you were to use public transport. The ocean-Enoshima-Fujisan view from the room is magnificent, and the vicinity offers a lot of sightseeing spots. The only downside I could think of is how the building is a bit dated. Definitely recommend to couples. p.s. The staff speak fluent English.

We were originally booked in for two nights but with consent of hotel switched to one night and obtained a refund with no strings (because of Typhoon . Location is somewhat outside of Kamakura which is accessible by tram. Clean ocean facing room and very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend

The Prince Hotel proved a perfect place for a restful break after a hectic week of touring Tokyo, Kyotoand and Hiroshima. A fabulous location with incredible views, good sized rooms and excellent breakfast and restaurants

We enjoyed our stay at Kamakura Prince hotel, has a good location and facilities. Even though the location is a bit far from downtown, but they have shuttle from/to nearest station. The pool and golf driving is excellent.

The hotel is very comfortable and clean. The view from the room is fantastic!! You can directly see the Enoshima island and even the mount Fuji when the weather is nice. Not far away from Train station. There is shuttle bus connecting the hotel to the train station but no shuttle bus at night. The design of the hotel is quite interesting with a very special Z-shaped route lift. And the Christmas decoration really added the atmosphere of hotel during my stay.

Nice hotel but a little out of the way”
Rooms were large and comfortable by Japanese standards. However there were very few restaurants or shops in walking distance. You have to go back to Kamakura town to have any semblance of a nightlife or shops to explore

Major updates needed”
The description of this hotel said it was a modern hotel, but I don’t think this hotel has been modern since the 90s. The best part of this hotel was the view from our room, but the window wasn’t cleaned and was covered in grass on the outside. The hallways smelled terribly of mold, and our room smelled awful as well. The bathroom was dingy with floor to ceiling tile with moldy grout. The entire building needs a massive update - the mold is disgusting and a health hazard. Kamakura is most easily navigated with a car. The hotel location is accessible to the beach, and an hour walk to Edoshima or the town. Staff were kind and helpful. I would not recommend staying here.

The view from the hotel rooms are great. Size and layout is also fine as is also the pool. The prize is a bit on the expensive side and the interior is a bit dated (for the price). Use the Enoden train line to Shichirigahama and walk through the banquet hall/marriage chapel and take the elevator up to the lobby (long steep hill otherwise).

The room was very clean and enough space for us. Really liked the little sitting area with view of Sagami Bay. The shuttle to the station is convenient, but you can easily walk the distance if you are able. The staff was cordial, helpful and always smiling. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again.

hotel's located just close to the sea, in the morning you could find the Fuji Mt in the north. the entrance is a little trick, you need to go across a hall to find it. the staff is very nice, show me the way to my room, very good staff.
