Perfect place to unwind and relax with family”
Travelling with seniors and pwd is a bit of challenging but hotels that are pwd friendly makes it easy! I love how the staff take care of us. And My sister have easy access with all Their amenities which makes her so happy:) We stayed in one of their casitas and its absolutely amazing:) the only downside is room service is a bit slow and buffet breakfast are of few choices and a bit blunt. So if you’re here order their ala carte menus which are beyond better than their buffet:) we will definitely come back And recommend with our friends:)
Hidden Gem of Subic”
Overall enjoyed our stay especially makes it special by thier staff so hospitable from arrival (bellman), dinning (F&B) and Front office. Trully hospitable. Since this is away from the city, we wanted sinigang na hipon for dinner . (not in the menu) by they offer to serve. (the F&B guy offer -five star on that service) Just the beach is a bit rocky, enjoyed the duyan on the trees while having some drinks. Recommended to check out this place, 15 mins away from subic zafari and ocean adventure. Hope they can clear the rocks on the beach. Thank you KAMANA!
Perfect for a quick weekend get away where you can relax and enjoy the beach.”
Room is spacious. Price of food is a bit expensive at average of P500 but is good for 2 people. Layout of the resort is well thought of, the sand area, beach and resto are close in proximity which saves you from walking n walking. Infinity pool is only at 4ft depth which is very child friendly. There is a mini playground for the kids. Occasional sighting of monkeys as bonus.
One of my favorite resort”
If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind kamana resort is the place for you. There rooms are big it can accommodate 4 people but rates don’t include breakfast for 4 which you have to add. Buffet dinner meals are good and tasty which you have to add as well. This place is very sirene and private. Manager and staffs are all accommodating. The beach is also nice. It’s our second time in Kamana but will definitely comeback again.
Nice Place for a Quick Getaway”
The rooms all have ocean views, rooms are big and clean, very short drive from Subic, the roads going to the resort are small, but the destinations was worth it. Food is on the average side as well as staff service. It was a nice and pleasant stay, very ideal if you are looking for a quick escape during the weekends.
One of my Favourite Places to Stay”
I have stayed here a couple of times now and I really enjoy the peace and quiet. I have since bought my parents here also. The restaurant is top quality with a really good selection of food. The rooms are clean and well appointed, although a stocked minibar is missed. Good value for money in my opinion.
Quiet and Relaxing”
The place was quiet and relaxing though far from the main Subic still 30 minutes away from the hustle of Subic. Staff are all friendly. But our kids enjoyed all the facilities so recommended for families. CR has foul smell though but didn't bother to inform as everything we requested they couldn't accommodate due to place was fully booked , as we arrived in the holiday. Everything should be bought inside so food is a little bit pricey. But all is good hopefully they could improve the facilities more to give value for money.
Nice resort just 2-1/2 hours away from manila”
If you're looking for a resort that is accessible and not too far away from Manila, this is a good place to go to. We stopped by at Subic for lunch and some duty free shopping before going to the resort. The resort is clean and well maintained. We got a casita and it was really great!!! A bit on the expensive side but I think it was worth the price. It had its own veranda that looked out to the sea and a great sunset view. Resort food is good, though not spectacular. We had dinner and breakfast there. Resto staff are efficient and attentive. The beach is small and not as nice as most Morong beaches but it's clean and water is clear. A bit painful to walk on the crushed shells and rocks so best to use beach shoes. But for us, it's good enough to just enjoy the sand and the sea. Some cons: 1. the additional person charge is almost P2,000 for children above 7 years old. Too expensive. The charge includes breakfast only and no extra bed. Can't imagine a 9 year old eating 2k worth of breakfast. Maybe P1,200 would be more appropriate. 2. need to clear some of the weeds on the route. kinda scary at night. 3. cobwebs on outdoor furniture and veranda grills 4. no wifi in casitas area. best to bring own wifi
Enjoyed our stay! Location was far away from everything but that was what made it perfect and peaceful. Beach rentals where readily available. My only concern is that some of the stairways have loose tiles as well as the pool including sharp edges, needs work so be careful! We traveled with family and had the best time! Can’t beat the views and the rooms were comfortable/relaxing! Can’t wait to come here again! Staff was great too!
Impressed with few hiccups”
Impressed with the property and staff were friendly. The family enjoyed our stay with few hiccups. 1) breakfast policy states that kids 7 yrs and below eat for free. I assumed that the policy applies to other F&B outlets of the property offering buffet. We availed of the bbq buffet and my 7-yr old son was charged full rate even if he just took a piece of chicken. There was no rice served at the buffet and we ordered 1 for him and was charged separately. If I only knew about it, could have ordered from the ala carte menu instead. 2) chatting noise from the neighboring room can be heard. 3) Our AC was not functioning well. We had to call Engineering to have it fixed as it just stopped wee hours of the morning.
Rocky Beach but its ok”
This is our second time to stay in the resort.. there are improvements on the beach front but still rocky its not very kid friendly.. aqua shoes is very recommended to use so you can enjoy the beach.. still the room are very clean and really big.. love the buffet breakfast.. hope to go back on out third time.. thanks kamana..
We booked this resort for my private birthday getaway. We came on a Monday and that perhaps helped in assuring that there were only a few guests who have checked in. We booked a villa by the water so that made our room location even more private. Given all that, we had a very enjoyable and refreshing stay. The staff were friendly and the place is simply nice. It is seldom that we use the pool in places where we booked but this time, despite the chilly wind, we took a dip and enjoyed even that. A bit pricey for some but for those who can afford the price, it's worth it. The food is equally okay, not impressive but okay.
Very pleasant stay, relaxing & all the good vibes i wanted for a short quick getaway from manila”
Really surprised to find a lot of fish that can easily be seen outside our veranda when looking into the water; beach is clean just a bit on the rocky side. View from our casita & the pool is really spectacular. Just wish there are more pathways to the casitas (only 1 major pathway forking into the several casitas) as it can be a considerable walk from the pool & other amenities.
Lovely environment ”
-Food is ok. choices in the breakfast buffet are few. Bacon is good. But the rest are just okay. -Staff are okay but needs to smile more often. -Rooms are spacious. I love their pillow and sheets! Very clean and smells nice. AC in the room is good. CR is big but has super noisy exhaust fan. -kid friendly place But overall experience is good! Will come back again
Nice hotel in a quiet place”
Super clean, nice infinity pool. Small beach, clean, but do not expect a beautiful white sand beach like in Boracay 😉 playground, trees, hammocks for relax. Nice view from hotel rooms. Good for families with small children. About 10- 15min drive from attractions like Ocean Adventure, Zoobic Safari, etc.
Front beach is not good due to sea wall. we really love the place, peaceful and good for relaxation ...
I got nervous reading previous reviews before our trip to this resort. All that worrying over nothing... Kamana Sanctuary surely improved their services. The food was great-- the breakfast buffet had a whole range of variety For dinner, try their Ox Tail Kare-Kare and Pork Sisig, one of the best we've tasted. The view of the sunset at the infinity pool was breath-taking as well. The staff were very accomodating. Kudos to you guys!
Good resort for weekend getaway”
Stayed here for a night April 8-9, 2018. The hotel was fully booked and we decided to have lunch first at Subic Freeport before heading to the resort. Checked-in around 3pm and was fast. Pool is okay, small and very shallow. Good for kids. There’s a play area in the resort. The beach for me is good and clean. Part rocky and part sandy but clean. It is good for swimming. The only problem we encountered was at the restaurant. It took more than 30mins before they can serve the food. Overall, would still recommend the resort. They can still improve if they can add 1 more pool and fit center perhaps.
My mother is very picky about the resorts we stay in and she did love the place. We got a first floor room overlooking the grounds so it was accessible to the restaurant and the playground which my daughter had so much usage out of . The buffet was a bit pricey but we enjoyed it. The watersports were also fairly priced. The rooms are clean and the refrigerator temperature was cold in comparison to those personal refs found in most hotels. If there is one complaint I do have is that since we did stay on the first floor, the footsteps on the hallway on top of us and the inside the room can be bothersome at times. I assume there are kids and teens based on their voices so there is a lot of running around and you can clearly hear from our room. Other than that, I highly recommend the place and it is worth the price I paid.
Good hotel but far from city proper (poor wifi and internet place)”
Beautiful hotel but about 30 minutes away from the city proper. If you do not have a car it will be hard to go around. They have huge clean and modern rooms. Some comments: Bad Wifi Service for the rates you pay for the room (only in Lobby or Dining area), No convenient store or restaurants near the area and we rented a more expensive Casita but they were charging extra for an additional person for a more expensive room. Overall the stay was good, they have a decent beach front, adequate breakfast and staff service was excellent.
