The rooms are spacious and this hotel is a good option if you stopover in Kamphaengphet
A good place to stop on a drive to or from the North, or as a peaceful getaway from city life. The rooms were clean and comfortable with parking directly in front of each room. The breakfast was prompt and delicious, with a chill vibe right on the Ping river.
The first impression of the hotel was not so good as I got the feeling that the hotel policy is to allocate rooms and to avoid any changes at all costs. I asked for a room with double bed but we got twin beds and the surcharge for moving to a double bed room would have been 280 Baht, a quite small sum but this gave me the impression that this was not in the schedule bu...

Maiyai Resort is a bit away from everything - and according to the staff about 4 km's from the Historical Park of Kamphaeng Phet. Which did not matter much, since they also gave me a free lift to the site. Within a few minutes walk, there is a very good local restaurant to the left of the resort, and some food stalls to the right. The bungalow in itself was immaculatel...
Pros: Pleasant helpful staff, roooms cleaned at guests request, quiet, small requests accommodated, Asian breakfast that satisfies most appetites and preferences, spacious room, rooms are like bungalows, very comfortable stay Cons: You need transportation to and from the city center to stay here. It is close to many things, but walking is not an option.
Could do with a softer mattress but it is what it is for the price that you pay. Valuable.

green park hotel is great value for money, the rooms were spotless. the location is a little out of way but they provide free bicycles to get around the town. there is a free breakfast of toast and sandwiches, coffee and juice. also wifi in the rooms and cable tv.
