My stay at M Boutique Hotel with my partner was a pleasant one. We had two nights there on Friday and Saturday. The amazing decoration and cosy style of the hotel caught our eyes when we first stepped in to check in at midnight on Friday night. We were welcomed by a nice staff, Joanne. She is so polite and kind to answer our questions accordingly. We are impressed by her service. Some of the 5 stars staff don’t even have this high level of service. Thumbs up for her! The next surprise was the room! Though it was not big (we went for superior room as we preferred room with windows), the facilities are so complete. Nowadays, most of the 4-5 stars hotel don't even provide those items e.g. vanity kits, hair dryer, slippers etc. The decoration and cleanliness were satisfying. We went to the gym and the facilities are good. We were surprised to see that iron board and washing machine and dryer are provided too. I would say this hotel management is very considerate. But, there are few things i would like to comment. 1. The air-conditioner is a bit noisy 2. The basin is a bit clogged. We did feedback after our first night, but the issue remained. 3. When the staff made up our room after our first night, he or she did not clean the glass we used, and i suspected they might reuse the blanket (the night before i saw a mark on top, the second day after the room make up, i found out the mark was at the other side) In overall, my partner and i were satisfied and happy with our stay. Definitely give it another try in future.

Beakfast is taste good and worth for money. Location also at the heart of Ipoh city and just take 4 minute drive to the famous restoran nasi lemak ayam kampung. facility so far good and worth to the price offered. Parking is quite limited but you can still got parking outside hotel and not far to walk in. This is the only hotel with price offered and provided breakfast to cm. The kost reason why I choose to stay at this hotel.

This was second time i stay with the hotel. The facilities itself already worth the stay. The indoor cinema, swimming pool, pool table and massage. Love it. We like the room service and although the menu didnt indicate vegetarian food, but we can ask the chef to prepare for my mother simple vegetarian food. The kampung fried rice is nice too and the pricing is reasonable. The hotel may not new but it is clean. Overall worth the price for family stay.

I actually booked a 2 room apartment for 1 night on 6/11/2018 for 4 people. Then one of my group members pulled out and I had to change my booking to a 1 room apartment for 3 people. However when I changed my booking, I mistakenly booked for 5/11 instead of 6/11 and remained blissfully unaware of my mistake. Then on the night of the 5th I received a call from the hotel to confirm if we were going to check in. Only then did I realize my mistake. But then, when I explained my mistake, they were very gracious and changed my booking back to the 6th. I believe most hotels would not have consented to do that. So, I really am truly grateful to the management and staff of this hotel, Especially the young lady who called. I never got her full name but she's called 'Ah Yin' - a young Malay lady. Thank you so much.

Ipoh town is famous for its food and the Sarong Paloh is the perfect place to stay in Ipoh for indulging and savoring some of the best eating places Ipoh has to offer. All within walking distance. I am not all that familiar with Ipoh town and I picked this hotel because of its high rating and its reasonable pricing. However, my family and I were pleasantly surprised that when it comes to food, many of Ipoh's famous eating outlets are just a stone throw away including favorites like Lou Wong Chicken Rice and Nam Heong Coffee Shop. Parking can be an issue during weekends and holiday season so it is a huge plus to be able to just leave the car at the hotel car park and just take a stroll. The hotel itself is a renovated heritage building and the owners have taken a lot of care to retain its original architecture and structure. We stayed in the Kingfisher room which is a loft style room with a nook under the stairs which my son absolutely adored. The renovation and decor serves to bring guests back in time. Modern amenities like a modern and well equipped bathroom are well hidden but readily available for the comfort of guests. There are no restaurants within the premise but just right next to the hotel is a restaurant that is also owned by the same owners as the hotel. With so much that Ipoh has to offer, we did not try out the restaurant but it does look very inviting. Guests are entitled to a discount at the restaurant. The hotel staff are very friendly and took a lot of time to share with my family on where to eat including places that are privy to the locals.

I travelled with children and baby during recent school holiday to perak and I decided to stay at this hotel . We reached hotel about 6 pm after having great excitement at tambun, the lost world which is about 10 km away.. We had nice dinner at Nasi lemak ayam kampung restaurant just walking distance from hotel. I think this is nice hotel with good price and spacious room.. I'll be back.

Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Easy parking in front of the hotel, hotel staff even helped shade for my car by placing a piece of cardboard on the windscreen. The (public) washrooms were very clean all the time. Great location, many coffee shops within walking distance, and also the famous Concubine Lanes. The hotel is heritage themed, red brick walls make for nice pictures. Only setback is that the hotel has no lift, so it is troublesome handling heavy luggage (but only has 1 floor). Very worth the price, highly recommended.

This unit at very high floor, it is clean, with 3 aircond rooms (R1&R2 with 1 Queen and 1 Single, R3 with 1 Queen bed). Having 2 toilets with bath soap and toilet roll (towels, tooth brushes, etc not provided. I usually bring myself, so I'm fine with it). Roof top can have full view of Ipoh town. Downstairs there is a mini mart together with self-service coin operated washer & dryer, can get 10% off if you tell the shopkeeper your unit. Walking distance to town, yet has to pass by a street (not walking along, but cross street) with funeral services. Owner will collect RM100 cash deposit on top of the rental and will return the deposits on the day check out by transfer to bank account.

Swimming pool is under maintenance , voucher is given by the management only it can only be used for next stay (walk in customer only) Walking distance to onn kee chicken rice area, convenience. 1 free parking is given only, the other cars have to pay for meter parking. Modern design create really comfortable feel to my parent, the only thing is 1 room is really small, but no bother us much.

Well, couldn't complain with this price paid. Been staying with them for the third time in 2 years time Receptionist was helpful and greeting us with smile, checked in during midnight time without any hassle Room is small but sufficient, exhaust fan for circulation, tv, aircond, bathroom attached , hot water shower are all i need for a sleep. The outlook might not be appealing, wall paint removing, watermark, so you choose whether its suitable for you or not. Great location, 5 minutes walk to the famous nasi kandar, tauge chicken, etc. At night, there's a foodcourt with varieties of food available right opposite the hotel. Satisfied customer, will stay again :-)

This hotel is located nearby (around 5km) of most of the food attraction places. You must have own transport to travel around in order to enjoy Ipoh delicacies. Had a one night stay here and overall the room condition is not bad, given that most of the time we were outside hunting for foods. The bathroom is very spacious, working water heater, air cond not bad. But the TV location...i must question why it was put in such a weird place. *Stayed here on Apr 2016
