"My 11 year old son and I had a great time at Tioman Cabana at Tekek. The accommodation was pretty basic (the air conditioning worked fine though). Food was good enough for both my adventurous palate and my sons very conservative tastes. The place is so chilled! Best place on the island, friendly and cool. Our cabin was right on the beach, and you don't have to go anywhere else for some great snorkelling on coral reef. Ideal for us, safe enough for my boy. There is more snorkelling nearby, like at Rengis Island. "
