Very Spacious”
I was surprised by the size of the room! I was expecting a much smaller space for the price we paid, but it was quite spacious. We were only there one night for a quick visit to the US Consulate. I highly recommend this guest house for people making a similar trip. The room is quite comfortable and clean, the staff were very friendly, and the consulate is less than 5 minutes away by car. Kana Citra Guest House was exactly what we needed!

I chose Kana Citra guest house due to strategic point which is closed to Consulate General of United states of America. the staffs in Kana citra guest house were nice and helpful. It was surprised, that the room I got was quiet roomy room guest house with affordable price, quiet clean, but only one thing need to be concerned was the shower run slightly slow, but overall this guest house is highly recommended.

Clean, very friendly staff. Good value for money. Only downside is that they do not serve breakfast although it is indicated on the Agoda website they do.

Don't buy DELUXE Room”
Don't waste your money to book the deluxe room as they don't have it. You will get the same room with the standard room, so why pay more? Overall were OK, clean and comfort. Bed was not so good but OK compare to the price you paid. Location was great, nearby cafe and market where you can easily get some food for breakfast.

I went to Surabaya for medical reason,so my dentist suggested me stay at Kana Citra since it’s just next door. And honestly i am pretty happy with my stay. It is comfortable and clean. Although lighting is a little dim. Around 5mins drive you can find food area called G-walk. It is really affordable and has many varieties.

If you already stayed and want to extend using online then they will give you 2nd or 3rd floor ”
I have stayed there by making direct booking to the hotel. The next day I haven't finished my work so I want to extend it. Since they closed at 11 pm and open at 7 am whereas I have to leave for work at 6 am and go back at 5 pm, I booked online through agoda. In the morning the staff called me and said that they already received my payment. Suddenly when I was working they called me and because I didn't answer it, they send me text and said that I have to move to the second or third floor (I was staying at the first floor for the first day) because I extended it by online. I asked why not inform me before when the staff called me in the morning. They said the staff was from the restaurant. How can the restaurant staff know that my payment already be received? They asked me to move my things in the room before 12 pm. How can it. They asked me to pay idr 100.000 if want to stay at the same room then reduce it to idr 80.000. Their own price was idr 320.000. Agoda price idr 264.000

I only have good things to say about this guesthouse. The location was perfect since the US Consulate is a little far from everything else. The staff at Kana Citra was so welcoming and they made our stay pleasant. They also have a cafe with good food and a pool. The rooms were clean and the pillows were comfortable. It was also a short walk to G Walk, a street with lots of restaurants and choices of food at night. 5 stars!

This is very basic guest house and not a hotel. Staff is friendly, no staff overnight however only security staff. No phone in a hotel and must lock the room every time using a key. Overall, this is a very valued guest house, clean, good experience overall.

Big room for low costd”
I stayed here because it is Just walking distance to US consulate Where i will apply for US visa. The room is spacious, clean, for a low budget in last minute booking. I only have issue when i need to print a document, they can't help me by saying it is broken, etc. I think they should have this provided, as some visa applicants might need it in urgent times and considering this hotel is far from closest business area. But overall, i had nice one night time here.
