    “Best cost performance!”

I used it for touring. It's a facility remodeled from a traditional house, and the nostalgic atmosphere was very comfortable. The accommodation space had bunk beds, but with curtains for privacy, which was sufficient for me. The facilities are similar to a regular household, with a kitchen and a bath that are both home-use. The bath had a bit of wear, and I noticed some pink mold, but I'm not particularly picky, so it wasn't a problem for me. However, those who prioritize cleanliness might find it a bit concerning. The staff is from Taiwan and has only been in Japan for a month. Their earnest attempts to explain things in their unfamiliar Japanese made a very good impression. The living room had a relaxed atmosphere that allowed me to feel like I was in my own home. Overall, I highly recommend this accommodation for those who want to spend a leisurely time without pretense.

“Great but be aware of where you going ”

Typical Japanese experience, the owner is super nice and he can speak English. The room is clean but you have no towels here. The walls are in thick Japanese paper i suppose so don't expect too much privacy. Is a great experience to do and the tatami is comfortable i have to say, you really wake up with lot of energy. The position is amazing. There is a woman living there which sometimes enters in the room and she looks like super annoyed, not clear what was her role there but she took money for the washing machine (100¥) not a lot but it wasn't specified. Overall great stay and great price I really suggest it if you are looking for something like this.

    “Very good”

We had a couple room on the ground floor. We are budget travelers and it was worth the money we paid. The shower room and toilet is shared with basic amenities but bring your own towels , toothbrush and razors etc. It aint luxury but if you wanna have comfortable night after a long day of walking around Kanazawa, its perfect. The location is also nice and near Higashi Chaya district.

    “Taiwanese girl! It was fun‼️”

I love guest houses. The host was a Taiwanese girl staying in Japan on a working holiday. She was kind and fun to interact with. The traditional Japanese house was lovely as well.

    “Charming guesthouse”

Dress in traditional dark timber, tatami, and shoji screen, this is a beautiful little guesthouse in Kanazawa. A retreat, about 20 mins walk from the major attractions. Very clean and quiet, and very helpful staff. Lots of love from Australia!
