Just stayed in the hotel for a night two days ago. One of the best hotel we ever stayed in Japan. The hotel itself is a great architecture itself. Staff was nice and efficient. Room was spacious, clean and nicely designed. Breakfast was excellent, liked the seafood don so much. Keep up the great work Kanazawa Sainoniwa Hotel!

Lovely stay but crowded during weekends.”
Forgot how many times I have stayed here; but probably the first time during weekends. Given its popular breakfast, this is no wonder. Our standard twin room on the 2/F was smaller than expected (larger rooms are reserved for families during weekends). It was also not quite sound-proof as we heard stumping noises from above (probably kids running around?). Much prefer rooms on 4/F. Glad to see service and cleanliness remains high standard. Breakfast is of course consistently delicious. Also appreciate their thoughtfulness, continuing to add innovative and fun facilities and amenities for guests. Will surely return in the future.

The hotel is located approximately 6-7 minutes drive from the JR station. However, the hotel provides frequent shuttle bus to and fro the hotel. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable and there are a lot of facilities such as public bath, gym etc. The breakfast spread is good too. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

Beautiful hotel newly built in a modern Japanese style. While the hotel isn’t near the station we could walk between the hotel and station in under 15 mins once we knew the route. The hotel has everything and more to make your stay enjoyable. PJs, slippers, bikes, laundry facilities. The breakfast is to die for.

Best breakfast ever anywhere in the world”
Staff are so nice and accommodating and the hotel is lovely and clean with spacious rooms and bathrooms. Best breakfast ever with amazing selection to suit all. But such a shame that they do not open the restaurant in the evening as it is just a little bit too far from town and most restaurants in town close early.

A hotel that makes you fall in love with Kanazawa.”
I had an extremely pleasant and memorable 6-night stay at Kanazawa Sainoniwa Hotel. While the hotel itself is not close to Kanazawa Station (it probably takes 15 to 20 minutes on foot), it does provides free shuttle service, with an 11-seat shuttle van travelling at an interval of every 30 to 60 minutes. It is sufficiently convenient. On my first night, I only managed to arrive Kanazawa quite late, and I was grateful that the driver had a roll-call list ready to check that all guests get to the hotel all right. I was immediately impressed. The hotel, just opened in 2015, is very new, modern and clean. Upon my arrival, I was mesmerised by the ornate flowers, plants and artistic works. Each floor has these in place too. In fact, the entire hotel is an art itself, both in terms of interior design and architecture. Every guest in the hotel may enjoy the variety of services and facilities, e.g. delightfully delicious breakfast, a pristine public bath, free self-help laundry, training room (i.e. a mini gym), electronic massage chairs, free rental bicycles, computer (wi-fi internet connection is great), photocopy, etc. My favourite thing about the hotel is the staff. They are all polite, sincere, and helpful. They make guests feel comfortable and at home, never slow to assist. All these give a very positive image of Kanazawa, and it was an absolute value for money. The hotel greatly exceeds my expectations. I will definitely return and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Hokuriku area.

We had the most pleasant experience staying at Kanazawa Sainoniwa. The hotel looks amazing, the lounge and the garden is very tranquil, and the staff were also helpful and friendly. Not to mention the excellent breakfast, you can really taste the quality of the ingredients! It was really one of the highlight of my Japan Trip! will surely back again when I'm in Kanazawa

Always an enjoyable stay”
This is my second time at this hotel, though this time I brought my family with me (including 2 small children). The hotel staff are always very welcoming, though this time I found more staff are able to communicate well in English. They were also very accommodating putting our rooms next to each other. The hotel and rooms are always clean and well-kept. Even though location is slightly far from the main tourist attractions of Kanazawa, the hotel is very serene perfect for relaxing. It is still relatively easy to get around as well as the hotel provides free bicycle and free parking space (for those who rent a car). The hotel also has great facilities, especially love the bath. Hotel breakfast is one of the things I look forward to as well, the variety they provide, and it taste amazing.

My Second time here, still excellent as the First!”
I was so completely impressed by Sainoniwa that I decided to return just a little more than half a year later. Thankfully it is as great as I have remembered. As it is Summer time, every guest enjoys free ice lollies after a relaxing onsen bath. Such a thoughtful idea. Impeccably designed, clean and tidy, the most helpful staff. Of course, the best hotel breakfast a traveller could hope for. Will definitely return. Highly recommended - you won't be disappointed.

excellent. one of the best in Kanazawa at a fair price. Breakfast with a variety of choices. Japanese garden is relaxing. public bath available for rest after sightseeing for whole day. Nice , helpful staff. English notice available at services counter, no problem understanding each other although their english is not fluent.

very cozy lobby. The staff at the reception desk were friendly and welcoming. They recommended me to watch the firework on the first day of my arrival and showed me the way on the map. the onsen was nice. and I like the self-help laundry service, which was convenient. the breakfast was nice too. Even it is not located near the Kanazawa station, there is regular shuttle bus service. the hotel is pleasant to stay at.

Nice & hip contemporary hotel design, comfortable room, excellent service and friendly staff. Breakfast was great too, good variety and quality cooking. Not the best location but we had a car so it was not a big deal. They also provided shuttle to the guests. Would stay again and highly recommended.

Great Hotel”
The hotel is a little out of the way, however they have a free shuttle service that takes you back and forth to the train station. They also have free luggage storage at the train station which is helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful and the breakfast is wonderful.
