Great, relaxing place, beautiful! ”
We stayed in one of the pool/beach cabanas. It was GREAT! Private, very clean and great views. Being spoiled with our own pool was nice as well. The staff were amazing. Very accommodating, friendly, fun and caring. We had all our needs taken care of, often anticipated 😉😉 We did the JetSkis, horse riding and rented a scooter (not associated with the resort, but they helped set it up). We played in the game room, nice as well. The food was good. The atmosphere is great. A very relaxing stay. It’s a bit of a travel from Cebu City, however, the views were magnificent. Our next destination was Malapascua, so we were traveling North Cebu anyways.

The staff were accomodating and nice. the place is incredible and clean. You get to choose to either be active and do loads of activities or relax under the sun during your stay. The food was okay but I think it needed more variety. Overall, my friends and I had an enjoyable stay at the resort.

We booked a room for our anniversary celebration. Although the weather wasn't so cooperative, we still have a lovely stay. The resort amenities were great and there were just too many activities to do. Wished we have stayed longer.

We spent our 1st Wedding Anniversary trip in Kandaya & we had the most wonderful time! ❤️ The resort in itself was so exclusive, elegant & pristine! Moreover, the staff were the most courteous & hospitable people on Earth 😊 We stayed in a Garden Pool Villa & they even set up a special bed for us as a couple 💝 We also experienced their horse-back riding adventure which was truly memorable! We wanted to have their special dinner by the beach, but the weather was really bad. Nonetheless, I really appreciate all the staff's effort & kindness during our stay! We hope to come back again soon & enjoy the other activities the resort has to offer when the sun is shining brightly & the waves will be perfect for Jet Ski! 😊 Thank you so much, Kandaya! ❤️❤️❤️

We spent my daughter's 4th Bday in this resort. Excellent customer service. Staffs are very friendly. The food 👍👍👍❤❤❤❤👌👌👌. I enjoyed the horse back riding supeeeeerrrrrr!!!!!!!!!The owner of the horses is very friendly and very comfortable to talk with. You guys should book in this resort. I really want to go back. Our engagement-mooning was perfect when we stayed here last Dec 2022. The room was clean, food was delectable, and staff were very accommodating and courteous. Only downside is that place is quite a long drive from the city, and the variety of food needs additional options for guests who stay longer.

I was wrong…”
When I booked Kandaya I only have 2spare days for my children’s birthday since I an working.. I should have filed a leave… The place was really very nice.. There were ao many fun filled activities like the horse backriding ( I only payed for photo yet we got 2 complementary ride for both my kids) and the non-motorized water activities(which comes free of charge). The internet was down during our stay and the signal of globe telecom was nit that nice in our room but we get to enjoy so much. The food was also great! But the best part is our room with a big pool and big bath tub . It makes this vacation one of the best for my kids!

Best location are the pool villas. garden villa may not be ideal for light sleepers since the mayor in daanbantayan seemingly does nothing to curb noise pollution (sadly all mayors in this country do nothing about it) . i could still hear roosters crowing and idiots videoke-ing all day and night. the resort sits beside an area full of violators. resort wise, this is the best 5 star resort i have experienced. staff 👌 food 👌 facilities 👌 pool 👌 beachfront 👌 room 👌 instagrammable areas 👌 location 🥴 the area beside this noise is hopeless 👎

Excellent Place and Outstanding Service”
From the moment we arrived until our departure, the staff are really nice, friendly, and helpful. They would also ensure that guests dining at their Kusina Restaurant are well looked after and sees to it that everyone enjoys their food [which is great btw]. One mixed up I can't forgo though is the Mixed Seafood Curry we had during late lunch. It said "seafood" in the name but we don't see any seafood added to the food. Albeit, the curry was really good and we enjoyed it.

Only here in Shangrila of the North ~ KANDAYA❤️ It’s my 2nd time to stay here in their beach pool villa, first time I was with some workmates after our Medical mission in Daanbantayan. This time with my family to celebrate my hubby’s 50th birthday ~ and they love it!!! We had an amazing experience in Kandaya, from their awesome pool villa to their great service! WOW!!! Every minute spent here was all good. No bad vibes, no annoying moments. Everything went smoothly. View and design are just serene. Horses and jungle park were the best part for my kids. For my husband and I, its the water sports and game room. I love the idea ofa beach basket bag with towels that you can take to the beach or pool kept in the cabinets.

This is my second time to stay in Kandaya. Despite the pandemic, Kandaya has kept and maintained its world class facilities and accommodations. The resort is at its best, covid-19 pandemic protocols are in place, practiced and implemented. Without doubt, Kandaya is a second "home" to look forward to when one comes to visit north of Cebu. It's a lovely resort. You really have that 5-star resort treatment. We booked the Beach Pool Villa and loved every single day of our 3-night stay. Main pool is gorgeous. There's a lof of things to do for the kids such as horse riding, jetski, kayak. Breakfast is average and could do better. I wouldn't swim in the beach though as there were lots of black jelly fish when the time we were there. I would defintely go back again!

Worth the Trip”
Despite the almost 3 hour van ride from airport to resort, the experience is worth it. There are many activities and amenities to enjoy, staff are very friendly and helpful, plus the food is great too. Stayed there twice and will happily go back another time.
