We booked for a Aqua Villa with Jacuzzi and it’s absolutely stunning! Love the interiors! The beach, the water villas and the whole island itself had a very relaxing ambiance and that’s how we want our holiday to be, RELAXING. From the checkin at Male to Dhaalu atoll airport to checking out, we feel we have a special treatment as there are people assisiting us all throughout and it’s so nice of Kandima people! The food was also great! I recommend to get the packaged meal deals (half/full board) though. We managed to use the 2 swimming pools and it has a really nice view. The island has several spots where you can relax and enjoy the view! They have gym for adults and Kandiland for kids too! For the transfer, I recommend to get the seaplane transfer instead of domestic+speedboat transfer, just to get rid of the waiting times where you could’ve enjoyed the island more! Generally, We had an amazing time on this island, such a really memorable honeymoon and birthday celebration!

Kandima is a bit far from male airport but the stay are totally worth it! Kandima buddy will fetch and assist you in the airport for domestic flight and they have someone to assist when you arrived in dhaalu atoll airport. The flight has 1 stop and will take about 40mins in total. After you arrived in the airport, you need to hop on to their bus about 10mins to get you in the jetty which take about 25mins to get in the resort. It was a long travel indeed but the place is very awesome! They also provide honeymoon setup for us with a complimentary wine and fruits! The staff are friendly too and very accommodating. I really want to stay here again!!

Truly paradise and heaven on an island ”

The most surreal hotel on a truly amazing island To wake up in the aqua villa , staring out on the most amazing coral reef , water so clear and of the palest blue , it was unparalleled paradise . Restaurants served excellent food , array of choices, We chose the all inclusive package Best way I feel And had No complaints whatsoever The staff were fantastic, Such a fantastic time with Adil and the boys at the pool bar near the aqua villas They were always smiling Great housekeeping in our 408 aqua villa Too many names to remember But the personal service was truly 5 stars I always say there are too many hotels and destinations in this world to go back to the same one again But I will definitely change that opinion to make sure I return here to Kandima in the next 3/4 years To whomever reads this review, do not waste your time searching through the endless list of resorts in the Maldives This stunning paradise has it all ..........and more !!

It was an absolute pleasure and fantastic experience at Kandima Maldives. The staff is so kind and they really care about you and ask what else they could do to make your stay more comfortable. The Kitchen staff deserve a special mention as they took really good care of our dietary requirements very well. Special Kudos to Mr.Lab Singh, the chef, who rustled up delicacies and made us feel at home. The water villas are paradise and it is heavenly just to wake up and see the sunrise to the sounds of lapping waters. All the water sports arrangements are run professionally and if you have young children they will have a whale of a time and wouldn’t want to leave at all. Thanks to all the people who made our stay memorable and enjoyable - Ms.Sheila & Mr.Mucho at Kandiland, Ms.Varuna at the front office, Hanto and his friend who took us snorkelling so many times. Kandima - You guys rock !!! Keep it up!

Except that there is a quite long domestic travel time needed (domestic flight 1hr plus 20 mins speedboat travel time from Male to the resort), our stay at Maldives this time is one of the best moment in my life so far! Special thanks to the hotel staff Inaash for the great service from start to end of our journey. Please ignore other bad comments from other travelers, at least from now, the hotel service is up to 5.5 stars! Every staffs in the resort are kind, helpful and showing smiles even before you give any tips, and it is sure the hotel provide luggage delivery to your room after you check-in, and it is so even at this Feb, full booking high season! As I am a travel expert, I do know and understand the island is quite big with beautiful beach, so I would expect 10-20 mins romantic walk if the bike is being hired. Our included meals at Zest and Flavour is fabulous and the (paid) Valentine Dinning at the famous Sea Dragon is even better! Even the take away food at Deli is also above the average. It is true that at the Aqua room types the water is at 1.2 meters high since it is rocky, it is not suitable for barefoot walking, but at Aquaholic they offer free ride to snorkeling platforms or paid speedboat to best spot for snorkeling. There are many spots in the beach and resort where you can have your perfect photos in your life with just your phone camera. Everything is clean, new and modern, especially at the room, the hard working staff will do room service in the morning, and if not they will also try in the afternoon, the room is bright, brand new and fashion just like the photos in commercials.

We just returned from Kandima Maldives. WOW what a beautiful place!!. We’re a family of 5 and were accommodated in two overwater villas with private pools. Everything about this place is just amazing. The villa was clean and beautifully decorated. The food was great with so many options to choose from. The beach is just stunning with aqua waters and the whitest sand. Never seen anything so pretty. Abdullah the resort manger, Toby, Adil and the chef made our stay memorable and just perfect !. We will always remember Kandima...... one of our BEST holidays.

My whole experience in Kandima and Maldives has been perfect. Kandima is absolutely stunning with all kinds of facilities to suit my needs. Kandiland with water park for my kid is great. The snorkeling trip provided was also fantastic. My Aqua Villa is really gorgeous. The place is shiny clean, well maintained and the 360 panoramic view is amazing. I spend so much time in my jacuzzi just to enjoy the sea view and cool breeze. Food choice for breakfast and dinner is also very good with lots of varieties. The only hiccup was my seaplane schedule where it was only sent to me the very last minute. But i really enjoyed the entire experience.

Where do I start.... The minute we stepped off our plane in Malé, a team of people were waiting to great us and they were so friendly, we instantly knew we were in for a treat! The sea plane (highly recommended) was out of this world! You truly see the islands and the Maldives on the way to Dhallu Atoll. My husband and I felt like little kids looking out the window! When you arrive at the jetty on the shores of the resort, you are taken to another jetty where you are again greeted with smiles and good vibes. The refreshing welcome drink in your terrarium-clad reception rejuvenated us after a day of travelling with two kids. We took the beach villa because we wanted to be right on the beach (our kids love the sand and sea). The room did not disappoint at all! They knew we were coming with kids so they had made the fold out sofa bed into a bed - it was absolutely spot on and our kids were thrilled to have their own bed. We spent a full week researching on all the available resorts in the Maldives for our travel dates and finally settled on Kandima. The beauty of the resort, the warm welcome and respect you get from the Kandima team is what will definitely bring us back again. On the first night, their Guest Services Manager - Moosa - came up to us to introduce himself and also periodically checked in on us via Whatsapp to ensure that all our needs are taken care of. The food quality at Flavour (their main restaurant) was really bad, but since we already paid for the breakfast and dinner package we went with it just to fill the bellies. The saving grace for food was definitely the 2 nights we decided to spend at Smoke - where Chef Janaka and his team there showered us with the best food recommendations and gave us the service that we craved. This was not included in the package but definitely, money well spent if you're a foodie like us.

The moment we stepped at Kandima we felt we made a great choice for our first Maldives Experience.Customer service was exceptional. Stayed 3 nights in Beach Villa with Jacuzzi the space, design & Interiors of the Villa were stunning & exactly same as shown on their website.Hats off to your designers.The Villa felt straight out of some Hollywood movie set. Another 3 nights we stayed at Aqua Villa with King Bed and it was amazing too. Enjoyed direct access to Lagoon & snorkeling.We saw stingray,baby shark & beautiful fishes. Food was good since we are vegetarians, chef accommodated our Indian veg cuisine request.Went for an awesome snorkeling trip thanks to aquaholics team for talking good care of us. It was my first time for me and my wife at Maldives, we enjoyed much at Kandima. The place is great and very clean and amazing. Everyone was doing his best to make us happy especially Wesanta at breez beach club and Moosa & Usham at main reception. We spent 3 nights at beach villa with jacuzzi which was amazing and had full privacy plus 2 nights at honeymoon villa where we had a great infinity pool with a wonderful view. We felt that we had a lovely dream and ends when we come back. Thanks a lot to all kandima staff for making our dream is real

A must in your lifetime Although I have visited only kandima resort out of many Maldives resorts, I would say my experience couldn't be better than this one .No scope of improvement I could figure out as everything is perfect at kandima. Staff are too friendly and soft spoken. 24*7. Extremely relaxing atmosphere. Indian food is available. #### And if u want delicious indian food, please contact Labh singh ji at flavor restorant. He will cook for u yummy Indian dishes within 5 mins.

Kandima is so Kool! Everything is just perfect and I enjoy my honeymoon trip with my hubby in Kandima so much! The atmosphere there is so great that everything is colourful with relaxing music everywhere. Staff there are extremely nice that they greet us everyday with cheerful smile:) there are many restaurants, ranging from western, Chinese, buffet...etc. that you will never get bored of them. I enjoy chilling with my hubby during morning and evening in Breeze and Beach club so much. Food are excellent and it is so relaxing to have the snacks by the poolside, appreciating the beautiful ocean. There are also a wide range of activities that we love sunset fishing the most! We caught many large fish and we have them for lunch and dinner on the other day. They taste so good!(rip for the fish in our tummies). We stayed in sky studio and water villa during the week. Both rooms are great. Nothing to blame except there are some mosquitos at night. Yet, the rooms are so clean and beautifully decorated and spacious that we feel totally comfortable. Overall speaking, I love Kandima so much! I am literally missing it now:( I am tearful when leaving and saw the staff saying goodbye to me haha. I will definitely come back and probably bring my kids too in the future haha! Thanks for the lovely memories Kandima !;)

Honeymoon suite”

Finally my dream to come to maldives! love the resorts and my room was the honeymoon suite. Facing the stunning ocean and beautiful sunset. Can see lots of fishes. Im glad i choose this room. Only the things there are very expensive especially those activities. But lucky i bring enough cash and standby credit card. But overall i love this resort and their staffs are very friendly. definitely will come again! Thank u kandima :)

BEST RESORT IN THE MALDIVES!”

1. The island that Kandima is located on is huge - 1.5 miles long! So, even if you come in peak season and the resort is fully booked, you will not feel congested. They have shuttle service to and from multiple points on the island that come every 10 - 15 mins for your convenience. 2. The resort is absolutely picture perfect! In addition to island being extremely beautiful, there are many photo ops on the island to have fun with. It will never get boring! 3. If you choose the all inclusive package, its a GREAT value for your money. You get 2 complimentary water activities, complimentary snorkeling, complimentary 30 min spa session, and all food and mostly all drinks (including alcohol). 4. Food is bomb and lots of options for vegetarians & kids! Bottom line: We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day honeymoon there. We ate until we were stuffed at each meal, drank, smoked, did every activity, explored the island and still had time to relax as well. Cannot recommend it enough!!!

A place that makes you go wow. A modern paradise ”

Beautiful location . Be prepared to spend a day traveling to the island. A litttle chaotic connecting at Male airport. It is the Maldives so be prepared. Once at the island it is paradise. We had an aqua villa and more than happy with our selection. If you can get a jacuzzi villa at the end of the “jetty of villas” as it is easy then to snorkel to the little island at the end where there is good sites. The food was above average for Buffett style. The naan was to die for and bacon in the morning as good. We were there for the Xmas eve gala event and the food and activities were great. We didn’t try any of the other restaurants but they are in good locations. As a couple we enjoyed Zest as it was just opened and less kids about. Flavor is the main restraunt where you get the great curries and Naan. A lite electric bus takes you around the island if you don’t want to walk. It is regular. The only concern we had was the lack of safety instructions on the snorkeling tour.

My wife and I booked Kandima for our honeymoon and were in awed by the view and the hospitality of Kandima. Everything was perfect, from the daily snorkeling trips to the evening movie under the stars. We manage to spot manta rays swimming near our villa too. We were offered a complimentary 3 course diner as a honeymoon perks. :) There were hop on and hop off buggy service around the island, making exploring a little easier. If we were to really nickpick on the flaws was that one small regret on the day of our checkout, the assistant for our baggage barge into our villa around 2 hours prior to our checkout while we were still packing up our stuff. It would be much better if he were to knock beforehand. For transfer, our arrival was via seaplane while our departure was via domestic flight and speedboat. We wanted to try both and it turns out pretty well and not too expensive compared to if we were to book a return flight via seaplane only.

a piece of heaven on earth. the resort is amazing, the surroundings are picturesque, water is breathtakingly blue and turquoise .staff are absolutely kool buddies , they take care of u from the time u land till ur departure ( can't-miss the kandima kool buddies in their strikingly awsum uniforms). must mention buddies are Naaish and Ushaam at reception and Sajid at the Flavors Restaurant. all the staff are super friendly and helpful, hats off to them for the wonderful job they are doing...no where Atol i'd rather be...Kandima.

Our 4 days stayed were beyond excellent! We stayed at aqua villa, big room with excellent sea view, sunrise view, seaplane view. The room is very clean and quite well equipped too (except toothbrush & toothpaste, room slipper not provided but u can buy from shop at kandima) Throughout our stay we saw baby shark, manta (both small and very big one), squid, parrot fish, puffer fish and other fishes which we can’t name all of them near our aqua villa. Baby shark is pretty easy to spot near the beach every morning-noon. Breakfast & dinner are good. We did not opt for lunch. More activities on friday - Sunday. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Complimentary boat to snorkel 6 times a day. Para sailing was the highlight of our trip! The view was breathtaking however price was quite expensive. Overall it was a great & luxury stay at kandima! No complaint from us :)

It was my perfect honeymoon!”

I don't know where to begin because there's just so many good things I wanna say about this resort. From the moment we arrived, greeted by their "Kool" staff to our daily engagements with them during our stay - they are super friendly, professional and very attentive to our needs. They may not be a luxury 5* resort but the casual and welcoming atmosphere made our stay a true delight! There are two things to highlight about Kandima - their Sea Dragon Restaurant and 'Snap' (their in-house photo studio). First of all, my husband and I love seafood and we are both from Hong Kong, so finding a Chinese restaurant in Kandima was a plus for us. Special thanks to Chief James making it extra special for us with his delicious cooking (OMG love their Sichuan Spicy and Sour soup!! Soooo good!) and the birthday cake was amazing! Another special thanks for Valerie and her Snap team with the amazing photos! We just loved it so much!!
