This was my first interaction on Srilanka. Initially the check in time was told 3 pm but they accepted me in the hotel at 10 am. Overall staff was friendly. But had argument with the owner itself. Water heater for bath was not working on the 2nd last day. He just refused to give another room and was very arrogant. He agreed later when I spoke to him again.Later the manager who is very nice and soft spoken helped us out on next day with another room. On the first day found one cockroach in the room. The sheets were smelling had requested another room but refused. They changed the bedsheets after short while. Breakfast included but limited to eggs and bread jam butter. We were given different srilankan breakfast on one day. There is no say from your side what you can get for breakfast. Food in their restaurant is ok. Other two guests who were staying there along with us also felt the resort is not worth the money. Spent. You may try better deals around.
