Great vacation”
We had the Junior suite and it was amazing. The golf course was is fantastic condition. The pools were in great, clean condition. The staff made speaking English easy. The front office was very helpful with booking activities and setting dinner reservations. I highly recommend this place.

Family-friendly”
We stayed one night with little children and we all enjoyed it! The room was a nice size for all 4 of us, the pool was fun and the breakfast buffet was amazing with different choices for different tastes. And we loved riding those golf carts, of course! It’s pricey, but a really nice stay.

The resort is top notch. Rather remote but that makes it an even better get away. Staff is extremely professional and welcoming. My only negative is the restaurants could be better. For a high end resort the offerings were disappointing and over priced.

Azalea suite was great ”
Pros: Super clean. Pool by the beach is great for children. Staff was attentive and understanding to my needs, and even let us cancel an activity free of charge. Customer service is elite. We booked with four other families and all our needs were met. The “run of the house” deal is essentially room assigned on arrival. We were assigned an ocean view, as were our friends. We were all super happy about this. Cons: literally everything cost extra. Even to sit in chairs on the beach. The golf carts are expensive to rent ($55 a day) and terribly slow. If you don’t make reservations for dinner by noon, you will likely not get into the restaurants. Tattoos have to be covered at the pool. There is no dining or food offered in the pool area. No Lawson’s or family mart is near by. No Coffee shop nearby nor is coffee left in the room. The beds were terribly hard. All together we left with smiling faces and will be back again! We came with very small chicken and they all also enjoyed it!

Overall, the staff of the resort were all amazing and polite. We didn't have any issues while staying at the resort. The breakfast buffet was amazing, too! Lots of selection for both adults and children. We also enjoyed the Stardust Fantasia and the Fire Show that they had. We had fun during our stay and will consider going back again!

Not so luxury ”
Upon arrival, we parked temporarily in front of the lobby while we check-in since we don't have our room number yet. The front desk immediately told us to park in the parking lot which is quite a walk and would be an inconvenience since we don't know where to go. We usually do this while checking in and the staff usually help with luggage. The wifi in the room.went out few times. The only rooms that have good wifi are in the Orchid and they asked us to stay there for one night until they fix the wifi but we refused and told them we would if we could stay for the entire time we’re there since we have a lot of things to move from the room. The room where we were moved was dirty, seemed like it has been cleaned thoroughly for a while. The bathroom was moldy, sink was dirty. The beach where we’re allowed to swim was tiny and not as good as the other resorts here in Okinawa. The staff didn't seem happy however we had three excellent staff that helped us, Karin, Komol and Jalayssa. I don't think the price of the hotel matches the accommodation.

Resort living”
Kanucha is designed for a true resort stay. Cars are parked by lobby and you can walk around property, rent a cart to get around property, use the shuttle service, or have the staff take you to your room for checkin and checkout. Outdoor pools are very good size and free to use. There is an indoor pool that has a use fee. Rooms are very large and comfortable. I did notice some ants crawling around on the floor. Went to the resort's Paradis restaurant for breakfast buffer and dinner. Also went to the dim sum buffet served on weekends. Food was surprisingly good although a bit pricey. Room rates can vary a lot. If you don't mind the price for resort style living, it would be a bargain if you can get the room below $300 a night. Some of the staff speak English very well. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Kanucha has a 3D experience theater at the Garden Pool - its a 13 minute show played twice a night. You can go on youtube to see a video posted by someone.

My stay at Kanucha Bay was awesome. The only real downs to my stay were the prices of nearly everything. Also if you have tattoos you must cover them in order to use the water facilities to include the beach. Other than that, the stay was very comfortable and the staff was very nice. Food was great, view was amazing.

Lovely city get-away ”
Usually not a big fan of resorts but this time the idea of staying in an exclusive place like Kanucha was convenient. Total relaxation as we stayed off-season (late May) and there wasn't that many people. Pools were great and some beach activities must attract families with kids. We really enjoyed the spa treatments, one of the best experiences I ever had. The only negative comment are the resort restaurants; price-quality does not meet at all. We ate in Japanese and Italian restaurants and especially the latter one was a disappointment. Last nights we decided to take taxi and headed to town of Naga to have dinner. I would say if you get a good last minute deal for the resort, its worth it, but if the price of a room is normal (700-900 dollars) that is way over priced.

Exceptional”
So beautiful and peaceful; the suite was lovely (exactly like the pictures) and staff was so engaging/welcoming. We rented a golf cart to putter about the resort for a pretty reasonable rate. Food was very nice- Cantonese restaurant for dinner and western breakfast buffet. We really enjoyed this little getaway time as a couple. Even without all of the amenities opened (it’s still winter season), we could tell it would also be a lot of fun with our children on a future trip. It is a bit of distance from anything around but not so far that we couldn’t get out and about. We are pretty familiar with the island so it was only about a 20 minute drive to some of our favorite lunch spots.

We had a blast at this hotel. Plenty to do to stay busy or just relax at the beach or pool. If there is an all-inclusive option when reserving your room i would recommend it. All the extras add up quickly: mini golf, water sports, restaurants. If we stayed here again we would definitely try to do all-inclusive.

Pros : stunning views, staff are very attentive & they speak english, we tried the chinese & italian restaurants & the food was delicious with excellent service Cons: no complimentary coffee in the rooms, you have to take a shuttle to get from one facility to another because of the size of the resort. You can walk if you prefer. Just allow enough time for the walk to and from; menu in the rooms for the restaurants have no English translation Overall we had an excellent stay. Would love to go back
