Place is rundown and there is no ambience in the rooms. Value for $ not so great as there are better for $35/night. Staff are not courteous and very indifferent. Breakfast buffet is good, but not the best selection. Far from MRT, not that close to JJ weekend market -about 40 min walk. They don't allow outside food?!

Nice room
We got a room that had a door into the neighbour room. The door was locked so that was ok. We asked for a non smoking room, and was happy with our clean smelling room. But later the neighbour started to smoke a lot. The smoke were going under the door from hes room.He smoked a LOT. We called the reception and they told us that it was not ok to smoke in our neighbour room but we better move room because they didnt want any confrontation. Then i asked to the nice smoke detectors i could see, but they were only there for show. So we had to move room because another broke a roule AND destroyed a nice non smoking room. My wife are Thai and she couldnt even eat the breakfast.

pleasant surprise
For the money I payed (1100 Bat per night) excellent value. It´s a nice 3 star hotel, our room was rather big with one king size bed and another smaller one next to it. Nice view from the 8th floor. Everything "normal" clean. Breakfast was mostly asian style buffett with many choices and some western style options too. For the money, again, great value. Recommended.

Decent Hotel
I chose this hotel because it was recommended for its proximity near the transportation I needed easy access to during my stay. The hotel is clean, but a little run down. The staff are nice are pleasant, but communication was difficult as no one spoke much English and I spoke no Thai.
