Room was quite hot as it is on the sunny side of the building but apart from that my stay was quite good, I had a staff member pick me up from the airport which was very nice of him. The room was nice and clean and there were supermarkets 60m away which was very convenient!!

What a pleasure it was to stay at this hotel, staff went beyond there means to look after me, nothing was to much, a local restaurant i kept walking past a few metres from the hotel had some of the nicest food in Karon beach.It is just a short stroll of approx 10 mins to the beach, but dont forget your breakfast, i'm fussy and it was great.

I have been to many different hotels and guest houses this place is one of the cleanest.the toilet spaces are large and clean, as are the bedding. what you may notice for me is that the outdoor part of the cooling machine is an older model and you can hear it, but the inner part is very quiet and clean.

Breakfast was good and complimentary. Basic large room. Ok to stay for 1-2nights. Had to walk down the street and round to get to the beach. Massage place good next door to it. Receptionists helpful and kind. Glad stayed in Karon rather than earlier on in Patong looking out the taxi on way there. Touristy, busy area, maybe Kuta would be nicer.

Bright large sunny room with nice balcony where you can dry your clothes easily. Daily housekeeping, staff except one guy who was serving breakfast is not so friendly. Beach is very far from hotel because any direct way to the beach is blocked by huge resorts you have to walk around maybe 25 mins and this is really annoying. In walking distance there is a depot of alcohol wholesale supplier so you can buy beer or hard drinks cheaper than anywhere else.

Nothing but a decent clean large room and bathroom. No other facilities. Some half decent restaurants near by. But quite a walk to the beach and during covid Karen is empty. But a good place to stay if you are on a tight budget

Friendly Day Staff, Bad Hotel Policy”
Balcony advertised is not a balcony but an air-conditioner (a/c) ledge. Not suitable for old folks nor wheelchair friendly, no lifts. Us: May we have an extra key? Receptionist: No. CANNOT. You can leave the keys at the reception. What it meant: The whole family MUST SLEEP, REST or MOVE all at the same time. Our family member can't rest or sleep unless all are in the room because the one who "opt" to rest has to be kept awake to open the room door as we have only ONE key. Us: May we have an extra pillow? Receptionist: NO. You already have ONE pillow each right? So no, cannot have extra pillows. Us: May we have 4 bottles of water please? Housekeeping was not done yesterday. Receptionist: NO. You had your water bottles today. Us: Yes. But we need 4 more since we did not have our portion the day before. Receptionist: NO. Cannot. Receptionist: So sorry - NO HOUSEKEEPER today. So NO cleaning ...just change your towels ok?

On my initial arrival, I was greeted by the front office staff in a very pleasant manner, after going to my room, i was surprised at the size of the room, and it's amenities. My stay at the Karon Living room Hotel was very enjoyable, along with the friendlyness of all the staff, I was most surprised with the "FREE" Internet for the Guests!! very pleasing to see this gesture from the hotel maagement. Discovered Karon Living Room by way of searching cheapest hotels in Phuket. The rate is indeed reasonable yet the accommodation is close to five-star ranking. Karon Living Room is far from a grand hotel (but that's wishful thinking for a budget hotel), but you get all the basic amenities, including a TV set, wake-up call, free supply of two bottles of drinking water daily and free internet service. Its biggest asset, other than the price, is its cleanliness. The hotel is a three-story building but with no elevator. That can be a problem for guests with heavy baggage, but there's always a porter to help. Others may complain that the hotel is a bit distant from the beach--a walk of about 10 to 15 minutes. The upside is the place is relatively quiet, and has convenient stores, reasonably priced restaurants, and cheap Thai food stalls as neighbors.

Great place to stay on a budget”
Karon Living Room Hotel is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the center of Karon beach but without having the extra luxuries (and expenses) attached to the resorts and flash hotels such as a swimming pool and a seaside location. This is not to say that the hotel lacks though - it has lots of tv channels, aircon and good powerful showers and is very tidy. And surely you're in Phuket for the beaches - you can go swimming in a pool at a resort anywhere in the world! Highly recommended

Our stay at the karon living room was amazing. We booked to stay for 2 night's and ended up booking in to another 7! The staff were fantastic, provided us with extremely helpful advice and suggestions about the area and also just super friendly and kind people. The location is perfect if you are wishing to explore phuket as there is a local bus that stops outside the hostel and can take you to any of the attractions and sites on the island. We used it to see the waterfall, Phuket town, Wat Chalong, the big Buddha, Patong, Katu and much more. We stayed in both a dorm and a private room and both were great. If you are visiting Phucket stay here, it felt like a home away from home.
