              One of the better motels around”

              Stayed here to break up a road trip and everything was easy. Gentleman who checked us in at 11pm was lovely, room was clean, bed was comfy, hot water was HOT. The gardens were really nice to see in the morning too. Would recommend

              Perfect place to stopover!”

              This was my second time staying at the Karuah Gardens Motel. It's now become my go-to stopover driving down to Canberra from Brisbane. It's just enough out of the way to be quiet and affordable but still near enough Newcastle or Port Macquarie on the drive down. Always amazingly clean and welcoming. Wi-fi and heating was great. Has all the amenities you'd need in a motel. The modern touches and friendly service will ensure I come back.

              A great place to stop over”

              We choose this place to stop over on our way from Byron to Canberra. A great little town filled with cheerful and friendly locals. The RSL has great food and something on every night. Lisa at the Karuah Gardens Motel is delightfully hospitable. Her friendly warm demeanour and genuine care made us feel like we were family returning home rather then guests passing through. The rooms are clean and light and Lisa’s has done a great job making them over with a fresh touch. We will stay again.

              Great little place to stay for a couple nights except I would liked a microwave. Coffee is available. If you need cutlery you will have to ask for it. Bed was well made and comfy enough. Air con working. Kurah is a lovely quiet little place to relax. Met owner very friendly with information if you need to know. Sandy

              Clean room, comfy bed with nice set up and lovely gardens opposite. The two downsides with our room were 1) the strong smell of cigarette smoke that entered our room from outside making us feel ill. 2) The bright outdoor light that lit up the room throughout the night.

              Pleasant night stopover”

              The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean and appointed quite well. Value for money was good. I wouldn’t recommend the town to stay as it looks deserted and there is nothing to do. Quick to get off highway and back on.

              Excellent location, very charming family owned place. Great for a short break especially in holidays”

              We really enjoyed the charm and hospitality by Damien and Lisa. There’s a nice well kept garden with barbies and all, families with young kids will love to have supper outside. Took their advice on places to visit close by, like Jimmy’s reserve and Bennett’s beach. Enjoyed the local Xmas lights a lot. Highly recommended the place and would definitely consider going back.
