“Perfect stay at Katathani ”
I recently returned from a wonderful stay at Katathani Phuket Beach Resort, and as mentioned in the title - it was a perfect stay for us. I travelled with my wife and our one-year-old toddler, and from the very beginning, the hospitality stood out. The welcome and check-in process were smooth and hassle-free, which is a huge plus when you’re traveling with a toddler. We had made specific requests for our room, and I was pleased to see the hotel took them seriously. Upon being shown to our room, we noticed a small issue with the air conditioning but to the hotel’s credit, it was handled immediately and professionally. A special shoutout goes to Dennis, who went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable. His swift action and friendly demeanour truly set the tone for the rest of our stay. The room we eventually settled into was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. Housekeeping did an exceptional job throughout our visit - a level of service that reflects the high standards of the resort. As for the resort itself; it’s simply breathtaking. The property is clean, beautifully landscaped, and sits right along a stunning beachfront. We spent many relaxing hours just taking in the ocean breeze and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The staff across the board were warm, helpful, and always carried a genuine smile, something that makes a huge difference in a guest’s experience. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be the buffet breakfast. For a resort of this caliber, the variety felt a bit limited. Aside from the egg and noodle stations, there weren’t any other live cooking stations, which we were hoping for. Also, instead of fresh fruit juices, only cordials were made available. A small detail, but one that would elevate the dining experience considerably. That said, these were minor drawbacks in an otherwise stellar vacation. The service, the setting, and the attention to detail make this resort a place I would gladly return to and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to families looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway in Phuket.

“Resort with breathtaking views”
Very nicely located resort on Kata Beach. Rooms are big, huge king beds, huge bathroom with large bath tub and separate shower. Had problems with AC unit which kept shutting off by itself. Ask for a 2nd floor room for best views of the ocean right from your balcony which also has a rack for drying clothes. Reception staff were courteous enough but not very warm. No one to take or help with luggage till Reception for check in. Buffet breakfast was tasty, excellent bakery section. Wish they had more thai food, as it was mostly continental food catering to the western tourists. Ocean view was awesome every morning. The beach which is probably the best beach in phuket is owned by the resort and was attached to the propert, maybe 40m away from rooms. Apart from it, there were atleast 4-5 kids and adult pools. Some pools with kids slide and play , some felt cleaner and heated, others no so much. We had a blast in the pool, our kid made many friends. Costs about 1000 bhat for a grab to airport, takes about 1hr and 15mins. Lots of restaurants nearby, best is kata noi seafood restaurant and a bbq cart opposite the 7/11. Tourist operators, 7/11 and massage places on the road. Everything was great except the lack of warmth from reception area and the manager at the breakfast area who was a bit Rude and shouted at us of having breakfast without first giving room no. After paying 18k (inr) a night, would wish a bit more soft skilled staff. Having said that the Housekeeping and other resort staff were always friendly and smiling. Hope it's just a communication issue or a language barrier, cause we would like to come back.

“Memorable Family Getaway”
We spent 2 nights at Katathani Beach Resort and it was a truly memorable trip. The resort offers excellent service and direct access to a beautiful, quiet beach — perfect for families. The breakfast was impressive with a wide variety of choices, and we especially enjoyed having breakfast by the beach. There are 6 pools in the resort, and our son loved them all. We also tried the spa, and it was a relaxing and satisfying experience. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and pillows. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. There are several restaurants within the resort and nearby, plus a 7-Eleven just around the corner. The staff were all friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for a relaxing family beach holiday.

“Awesome experience”
The resort is huge and felt like they are on an island on their own! The staff we interacted throughout our stay were knowledgeable and very courteous. Full of initiatives and always offer to assist us. Very proactive and greets us whenever we talk pass them. Offer assistance as and when required. We really love their services. The room was very clean, nice and well maintained. They have an app which we can send our room request and they will fulfill accordingly. The app also contain hotel information and in room dining requirement etc. The beach is located right outside the hotel and easily accessible and it's really beautiful. The water were so clear! The buffet breakfast selection are pretty good and has great quality to it. It's not crazily extensive but still sufficient for us to have fulfilling breakfast. There's a lot of pools and I love their kids water play pool. My kids just don't want to get out of it. There's also kids club right beside it which is literally an indoor playground. These are located only bhuri wings so if you have young kids and intend to use these facilities, try to book at the bhuri wings for greater accessibility. Overall, I feel like we can spend 1 to 2 full days just being in the hotel to enjoy all the facilities. The location itself is quite at its far end of the island so is not very accessible to the general market area. We drove so it wasn't an issue but they do have daily schedule for transport to phuket town and patong respectively at a price. There's also a lot of taxi drivers outside the hotel to offer their service to drive you out if you need. Would def visit again if I'm back in phuket.

“Family style accommodation ”
We had a lovely stay at Katathani. It is a very large complex that is spotlessly clean. Our room overlooking the pool was very spacious and clean. Food and cocktails were reasonably priced and well presented. There was a games room for the kids and the massages poolside were a fabulous touch quite literally. I was disappointed that our room was opposite a lovely pool that my 12 year old son could not enter as it was 14+ We all had to resort to the kids pool which was full of young kids. This spoiled our time here and had I have been aware of this I wouldn’t have booked this hotel. My son was on his own and very mature and we would have preferred the other pool but he wasn’t allowed in it. Lastly the most disappointing aspect of the hotel was breakfast. It was horrible and I dreaded going there on the last day. The service is shocking with barely a smile from the staff and the food is production line . It is not air conditioned and the whole layout is awful. I think part of it is under construction so be aware. Based on the pool and breakfast I would not go here again however if you have younger children it would be more suitable.
