Very Convenient Location”

Kawaguchiko Station Inn is literally just across Kawaguchiko Station. Very convenient for us once we alighted from our bus. Mt. Fuji can be seen in some of the rooms and it is especially visible at the top floor, which is the bath/onsen area. Our room and the premises are relatively clean. However, they do not have an elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. The location of the inn is also near establishments such as train/bus station, tourist information office, restaurants, souvenir shops, cafes and convenience stores.

Good Stay ... Feel at Home”

Fantastic View, Great Service, Comfortable Bed

The inn is located directly opposite the Kawaguchiko train station (just cross the road). The hotel is a traditional inn with tatami floor. As a budget hotel for backpackers, guests must carry own luagges up to the room which is on the 2nd / 3rd floor (if you need a fantastic mountain Fuji view! please ask for room 201, 202, 203 & 205 - similar for level 3). Upon check in, the friendly owner will ask for breakfast (western 500Y, Jp 700Y), we try one Western and one Japanese. (Japanese breakfast must be ordered the night before) Alternatively, there is a 7-11 store round the corner that serve warm microwave foods. Not to be miss is the onsen (public bath) at the 4th floor. A common room is located on the ground floor (games, internet, free tea and coffee and try Yukata for taking photo)

Great Location and Helpful Staff”

Kawaguchiko Station Inn has a fantastic location close to Kawaguchiko station. It has good public bath and onsen facility for travelers to rest well in the evening. Best is that you can view Mount Fuji once you step out of the hotel. The staff speaks good English so it's very easy to communicate. They have free parking space if you drive a car, but it is not right next to the hotel. It is close enough, like about 80m away walking distance. Ask the staff and they will provide with clear direction. Highly recommended.

Best Japanese Breakfast, Strategic Location, Kind And Good English Speaking Concierge

This inn is strategically located opposite Kawaguchiko station, around 2 minutes walk. The room we've booked is the traditional Japanese style (Tatami), shower room and toilet are shared outside the room but they are very clean. Besides, there is a free public bath (like Sento) at the top floor. The Japanese breakfast is super delicious and the serving is nicely arranged according to your time preference. Not to mention, great view of Mt.Fuji can be seen from the dining hall, bedroom and public bath. It offers the perfect experience to the Japanese culture, with friendly and helpful English speaking concierges and employees.

Shared Facilities but Good Level of Privacy”

The location is excellent, right across from the Kawaguchiko Station, a hub for catching sightseeing buses (red, green and blue lines), and the Shibazakura Liner which takes you directly to the Fuji Shibazakura Festival venue. As convenient as the location is, the traffic noises at night was quite loud, and we could hear conversations of guests next door. But, if Mt Fuji decides to show up, you'll see her right outside your window (rooms facing station). Our twin shared room is small. After laying out our comfortable beds, there isn't a lot of room to move around comfortably - almost have to step over the other person. Maybe we weren't maximising the space with the way we laid out our beds? The facilities (e.g hair dryers station) are excellent and so clean. Although shared, there is a good level of privacy e.g separate private showers, not just inside the onsen. The helpful staff speak good English, and kept our luggage after we checked out. They even gave us a postcard each.

Kawaguchiko Station Inn was conveniently located opposite the train and bus station. And made it easy to connect to the attractions in the city. Our room (number 312) was clean and cozy and had a direct view of Mt Fuji. But the day we were there it was raining and we did not have a clear sight of the mountain :-( Overall: Very good place to stay. Thank ypu.

Nice scenery, easy access and nice staff

It is just a 1 minute walk from kawaguchiko station. The staff is very friendly and recommended me the place of interest nearby. He also gave me discount voucher to Fuji-q highland and to the Mount Fuji observatory nearby. I got a very kind offer from the boss to upgrade to a room with the view of Mount Fuji. I managed to see Mount Fuji clearly everyday. Because the inn is affordable and has such a nice view, I strongly recommend this place

Great Location with Nice Japanese Living Experience”

Hotel location is near to Kawaguchiko Station so you can easily access to Train and Bus. The Japanese room is cosy and has enough space for 3 adults (with luggage). There're also close to convenient store. For bath, there's 2 types of bath, shower and shared bath, if it's your first time I recommend you to try on shared bath.

More than what you can expect”

The hostel totally blew my mind and exceeded far beyond what I could expect, and I was so grateful and lucky to manage having one night stay during the golden week holiday. The hostel is located strategically so it’s very easy and convenient to reach the hostel from Kawaguchiko Station (basically just diagonally opposite). The hostel is well maintained and the shared bed room is clean and tidy. Other than these, the basement lounge provides self-help coffee and conducive environment for traveller to mingle around. The bathroom is equipped with onsen where you can have a good view of the Mt. Fuji is weather is clear. The staffs are friendly and helpful, and their service is simply good. Upon checking in late on the night, the receptionist waited patiently and got everything prepared well before arrival, and upon checking out early in the morning, the receptionist also assisted kindly for the luggage storage.

Perfect location with bonus hot pool”

I have nothing to complain about this place. It's location is just across the road from the Kawaguchiko station. The room is spacious and plenty of room to store luggages under the bed. The whole hostel is clean and warm. The bed is very comfy and private with curtains around the bed. I could imagine to see Mt Fuji from the rooftop but too bad, the weather was not good at all. The staff is nice and quite informative to tell me where things are in the hostel. The hostel had 4 floors (rooms are on level 2 and 3) with no lift but the staff was nice enough to take my luggages upstairs. There is a hot pool with Japanese public bathroom and shared private bathrooms on the top floor which was a bonus. They provide basic shampoo, conditioner in all the bathrooms. In the morning, I had Japanese breakfast and it was so good. I will definitely come back here if I visit Mt. Fuji again.

Excellent place for a quick shut-eye.”

Convenience, shower/bath facilties, and it's just across the street from Kawaguchiko station

It was a last minute decision for me to stay overnight in Kawaguchiko, so I all really needed was a place for quick a quick shut-eye and a shower, nothing fancy. This place happened to be very affordable and just across the street from the train station. This place is essentially a hostel/backpacking hotel. You get a bunk bed, where the top is the sleeping area, and below the bed is a huge open space where you can sit and organize your luggage. It's quite spacious, so if you're planning on going a hike, there's ample room for you to layout and prepare your equipment. The bed is quite comfortable with all the usual sheets and blankets you expect from a regular hotel. There's two power points at the head of the bed, one used by the provided lamp, which you can just disconnect if you want to charge your electronics. There's a public laundry, shower and a bath on the forth floor. The shower was very clean, with shampoo and liquid soap provided. At the basement is a lounge with computers for internet access, hot water, and a pool table. There was also a rack of yukata to try on since it was summer when I visited. One thing to note is that this place has curfew and the doors are locked at 11pm. But then again, there's really nothing to do around the station area at night, so it's not much of a concern.
