Access to lounge was a highlight of the trip”
Highly recommended staying at this hotel with complimentary access to lounge. We made good use of it after an exhausting shopping walk. Fresh snacks and drinks were offered. They even provided drawing booklet to my little girl to comfort her. Room was very clean and staffs were helpful. Location is great. We booked shuttle bus to airport. It was very convenient.
The renovated room is very new, clean and spacious, bathroom layout is very user friendly. Bed is firm and comfortable, toiletries are replaced daily and housekeeping service very prompt. Located in a quiet lane yet very close to many eateries and Shinjuku train station/malls/express bus terminal that goes to Mount Fuji/Disneyland/Gotemba outlet etc. Concierge is very helpful, only issue is the wi-fi gets restarted twice daily and it takes a while to reconnect back so is rather inconvenient.
Excellent location and right above the train station. Very convenience to shopping and eating. Lot of restaurants in the area. My kids like the lounge. We love this hotel overall, just a little bit pricey.
Hotel is pretty good. But price is on the high side. Very good location. You can shop until all the nearby shops close. I usually do last minute shopping till all the shop closes.
Great location: nearby train station, shopping, and restaurants. Comfortable bed and good shower. Super nice that Limousine Bus from Haneda Airport can drop off/pick up there. Also free bus transport to Disneyland/Sea. Stayed in a superior twin room non smoking, newly renovated.
Central and Accessible”
Keio is just 3 mins walk to Tochomae Station and a 8mins sheltered walk to Shinjuku Station - Subways as well as JR train stations - truly convenient and accessible! There are so many restaurants, convenience stores and retail shops just opposite the hotel.
Everything is good... remember to book your seats for the free shuttle to/from Disneyland/Disneysea, seats run out very fast. The bellhop gave very good suggestion on nearby eatery. Will consider to go back again
We stayed at keio plaza for more than a week. Very strategic location, all staff are very helpful, nice and professional. Room is big and most important is very clean. So comfort stay here. Very reccommed !!
Good Location excellent service”
This is my third stay at Keio Plaza. It a short walk from Shinzuku station. It provides free transport to Disneyland Tokyo. It is also have direct Airport connection starting from as early as 5 am.
Excellent hotel for family made our stay in Tokyo the best”
Easily accessible in the middle of Shinjuku station, hotel is big, and spacious rooms which is hard to find in Tokyo. Smooth checkin, helpful and friendly staff, excellent facilities and amenities, very nice and spacious rooms with view of city., bathroom was also spacious and complete with everything we need and most of all clean. Wifi was fast & reliable, has a free handy/phone for 4G internet use while out in the streets. Breakfast has many choices Western & Japanese buffet which was great and we have no complaints. Everything was great from hotel made our stay in Tokyo very pleasant for a family with a toddler and child. 10/10 will stay again, and suggest this hotel to anyone going to Tokyo. Only suggestion is to lessen the use of plastic bottles on water and soap for environmental purposes.
Great large hotel”
Overall I tend to prefer smaller boutique hotels but this large hotel was great! Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was a good size with great views. There are a ton of restaurants in the hotel and it’s right next to the govt bldg where there is a free observatory floor with amazing views of the city. Perfect location for exploring Shinjuku area and beyond since it’s just a few blocks from the train station. Only con was the crazy wind tunnel you experience right when you walk out. Being there in the winter we dreaded walking out or having to wait there for a taxi/shuttle. Once you get past that block there is no wind at all though! Also, they have a free bus to Disney parks. Only 3 departure and return times though so make sure to book ahead of time. Once we arrived we inquired about switching to a later departure time but it all times were fully booked.
Great location for families with kids”
Newly furnished family room (triple bed) was clean and spacious. Location was very near (less than 10 mins with the speed of a 3 year old girl walking on her own) to Shinjuku JR Station. Will definitely stay again in the future when visiting Tokyo.
Very nice hotel, service has been improved since the last time I was here. ”
Very nice hotel, service has been improved since the last time I was here. Breakfast is average. should be better for hotel at that price. cheap processed-cheese, could be better... Service is very good ! Renovated rooms are very nice. This is a huge hotel, so when it is very busy, it can be really hard to get good service, fortunately, this was not the case this time. Big selection of restaurants.
We stayed her for 11 nights at the end of our japan trip. Staff attitude was diligent and attentive.,location was excellent and very central. A rather busy hotel with large tour groups and can get busy at reception but plenty of staff to cater for your needs. We were in the main building and our room was large and very comfortable. Well maintained hotel. Will stay here again and highly recommend.
Unaccomodating staff ”
We stayed for 2 nights here and went to Disneyland for a night. The experience was wonderful and so when we cam back from Disney for another 2 nights stay, we were greeted by this particular unaccomodating staff. I've to highlight that the rest of the staff were very nice but just one. Whatever request we asked, we were rejected with a no nonsense strict reply. (We asked for a late check out of 30mins.) The service was stark in comparison with the rest of the staff that I have to highlight it here. While waiting for our turn to be attended to, we noticed the previous guest was also greeted with the same coldness.
Spacious room (newly renovated)”
We were pleasantly surprised by the size or the room. The toilet looked modernised. Room was clean and very comfortable. Kids love the bathtub. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. The Disney shuttle provided by the hotel saved us much hassle especially we are travelling with kids and luggage for a night stay in Disneyland.
Great place to stay in Shijuku”
This 's my 5th time visiting Tokyo and the first time that I stayed with Kaio Plaza Shijuku. The room is spacious comparing to other hotels around this area. The staffs are all friendly and very professional. Only minus is the buffet room is always so crowded and we have to wait in line about 5-10 minute every morning.
We love this hotel. Just wish it was a tad cheaper so we could afford it all the time we come to Tokyo. Got the breakfast coupons for part of our stay. Such a great American/Japanese at the Court dining. Didn't get to try the full Japanese breakfast this trip. Didn't care for the American buffet/American breakfast at Jurin. For the same/similar price the Court dining is definitely a better deal. Although it is a straight shot to walk to the station, this time it was a little tiring for my mom to walk the distance. since she is 90 years. old. Wish they had a shuttle bus like the Hilton and Hyatt does. But it was her preference to stay there this year so no complaints.
best hotel in shinjuku”
we have stayed here several times wout fail. its a huge hotel with many facilities. Room size is huge for Japanese Standard. Staff understands english well, rooms are very clean, great view, very near shinjuku station.
Room is big and clean.
