Exceptional”
We stayed on a one bedroom pool villa. Cute room. They maintain and clean the pool everyday. The staff were very friendly. They offered free tennis court and gym to the guests. Loved the place. Only downside was that they only offered breakfast on their restaurant. So for lunch or dinner u have to go out.

Beautiful oasis in Gili T”
My partner and I spent three nights in one of the villas and had a fantastic stay. The villa was spacious and the pool was very clean. The staff were very kind and welcoming. We would happily return and it was great value for money.

Amazing villa”
Perfect swimming pool and nice location. We had a problem with our rented bikes in site but the staff sorted out nicely, same with the WiFi. They give you their Whatsapp contact to anything you may need which is brilliant if you hold a Indonesian Sim card. We had also found a little frog friend in our outside bathroom in Kura villa which was marvellous to watch and we named it Wilson, say hi if you see it. Strongly recommend a visit here!

Beautiful villas”
All the villas look really nice. Pros; -great breakfast -best equipped hotel gym I've seen -access to tennis courts and other games. -staff very helpful, friendly and engaging Cons; -mosquitoes (a net for the bed would have been good) -bikes weren't included in the price, were necessary to get anywhere and their quality was very poor. Would stay again

Huge villa, worst staff”
First of all, I would like thank Ben for his hospitality and kindness. He offerred me the 5BR villa instead of the 3BR that I paid for. But, all of his staff have some serious attitude problems. I booked 6 bikes since 12pm. When I wanted to use the bikes, only 5 were available and I texted the staff to deliver the 6th bike. The staff said “please wait”, an hour later the bike was still not there. So I called the staff again and he told me to wait 5 more mins. 10 mins passed, the bike is still not there. So I texted again, the staff’s reply was absolutely, unethically rude after making us wait for hours! The other staffs were also rude but still forgiveable. Now the villa. The villa was beautiful, aircons worked really well, nicely sized pool. BUT VERY DIRTY. The floor was oily and sticky, cooking utensils was oily and dirty, sofas were also dirty, water pressure was really low I took so much time to shower.

I've stayed at the Kelapa Villas before and my last trip to Gili Trawangan has me convinced to stay here every time I return. The rooms are fantastic, clean and well maintained. The service from reception to room service and everything in between is second to none. These guys run a tight ship and I will definitely be returning in the future.

Quiet Villa with Exceptional Staff & Service”
Kelapa Luxury Villas communication was excellent, they arranged all transportation from airport (2 hour taxi with drinks, speed boat, and horse drawn carriage) with prompt email replies. They had fresh coconut juice at arrival and the staff was helpful and very pleasant. The villa was the Orchid villa, their newest, which was clean, no bugs, and all air conditioning in working order. The pool had a small shallow area where you could sunbath or for kids to play. The kitchen was clean and well stocked everyday with milk, drinks, and water. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and always hot and ready when we wanted it delivered to our room. They gave us extra coffee when we asked and really made our stay relaxing. The location is a bit out of the way and not on the beach but the FREE bicycles were a great touch and good way to get some exercise. My 4 year old loved the bicycle seat they specially got for us so he could ride on the back. The location was nice because it was quiet and out of the way, no noisy party people or music. I would recommend for couples who want quiet or group who want their own privacy. Excellent customer service.

A great location away from the hustle and bustle, but still close to north, east and west by bike ”
We had a lovely 4 night stay in a beautifully designed pool villa. The rooms are well maintained and the gardens are magnificent. We hired bikes and found getting to the main strip, the sunset beaches and snorkelling areas was a breeze. Also gili frame restaurant was very yummy and just outside the premises, so easily accessible on foot. Reading some of the reviews regarding the taxis and getting to the villa I was feeling a bit concerned when we got off the boat, but we battered with a smile and paid 100k for our pony cart to get to the villa with our luggage. I dont think that is unreasonable if you only pay it once there and once back and hire bikes as we did. There are some poor reviews on this site for these villas but they did not reflect our experience at all, you've just got to remeber that you are on an Island and if there are any quirks, that is simply part of the magic.

Kelapa feels luxurious, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the villas are beautiful. It’s a little far from the main strip, but still walkable and bikable. I’ve recommended it to friends who are staying there as well. The only place I would stay on gili t!

Spacious villa w. great service”
We stayed at the Kelapa Luxury Villas for 5 days and we could easily have stayed longer. Time flied and everything was so easy and convenient around here. Having a private pool was extremly luxury and was very nice to have as the temperature seldom was below 30 degrees.

welcome privacy”
Lovely stay at quiet, private, idyllic Kelapa, if a liitle to far from the beach. Bicycle provided to get to the beach, although somewhat hazardous bikes (tyres, seats, breaks), not that the ride is hard, down quiet sandy roads between coconut palms and village homes....wouldn't want to do it in rainy season though. Gili Trawangan is heaven, July season perfect.

Amazing villa, the perfect fit for couples. ”
Even though the location is a bit far from the main area, the staff were exceptionally welcoming. The villa was small but it's perfect for couples. I definitely recommend this villa if you wish to stay in at nights. It's a bit far from the harbour and the main area but gili trawangan is a small island so you can get to wherever you want within 20minutes on foot.

Relaxing, comfortable and romantic”
Having a private pool that you can actually swim in and a huge spacious villa that is quiet and private is really fabulous especially since we are city dwellers. We had a fantastic relaxing stay at the hotel. The staff is attentive and the manager actually came by to ask us if there's anything we need. Though the walk to the main busy stretch of the beach is about 30 minutes, we enjoyed out nice walk. The walk to a much more quiet beach which features a fabulous sunset is 15 minutes walk from the villa. Having said that, I think personally, the location is fantastic in the sense that while we enjoy the privacy and quiet surroundings of the hotel, we can also choose to walk to the busier beach or the quiet beach from the hotel. for those who don't like walking, the staff is able to arrange for a horse carriage to pick you up or you can choose to ride the bicycles provided in your room though I won't recommend using the bicycles as they are kinda old, part of the trail is bumpy and the streets are quite dark in the late evening (unless you don't paying a 100000 deposit to loan out a small torchlight from the hotel). The breakfast menu is pretty standard (American, Continental and traditional) though I wish the staff would be able to get our eggs done in the way we want correctly (they made the mistake twice). The menu is pretty limited but that was fine since the restaurant we went to at the main stretch of the island is fantastic, serving delicious grilled seafood and kebabs at a reasonable price. One important thing to note is the hotel does not provide 24 hour room as stated by Agoda.

Super service, peaceful location”
Our experience traveling in Lombok and on Gili was that it is still quite underdeveloped; things often don't work or break levels of cleanliness and availability of services and goods is scarce. Kelapa was excellent because despite the inevitable breaks in electricity (a full 2.5 days of no electricity during our stay, thanks God for their backup generators) and equipment failures (eg. TV, bikes) the staff was always there at the ready to find a solution, with a smile. This is what makes the difference. We loved the location too, since it is in the middle of the island and each day you can cycle in a different direction for a different destination. AC shorted out several times at night, and bikes were in dire need of repair and maintenance, but they were free and were absolutely essential for getting around. Didn't hear the prayer calls too much or loudly either, which was great. Breakfast was ample and delicious.

Extremely pleased with our stay!”
We were very happy with our stay at Kelapa Villas. Our villa was clean and the pool size was perfect for a swim! The room and pool area were clean when we arrived. We loved the retro looking bicycles provided by the hotel, they were stylish and very easy to cycle too. The service staffs, despite being young, hey were extremely helpful, they tend to our request with great enthusiasm. On the 2nd night, our pool lights could not be turned on, and we called for the service staff, they arrived promptly and tried to fix it, although they had trouble fixing it, they didn't give up, and it took them almost 45mins to fix it. They were hot and sweaty, but they were smiling very happily when the lights finally came on. The sincerity and friendliness of the people working here made the stay almost perfect. The only downside is the location from the harbour to the Villas, if you intend to party late, you'll have to take a horse cart back and it's a very bumpy ride. Overall we would recommend this hotel to couples who prefer privacy and are looking for a romantic stay.

Situation on a beautiful palm tree plantation, Kelapa villas are a great choice with a decent sized pool and room. The only downside were the bugs that got in under the sliding door into the bedroom but everything else was fantastic.

Place was beautiful but sadly maintained”
Place was great as it’s big and has big space complete with a small kitchen area with oven. The downside was we had many problems with the villa 1. The fans were all in slow motion literally you can look at the blades moving slowly even in its highest setting. What’s worse was when we told the staff they didn’t know what to do. Some didnt even know where the switches were. 2. One of the shower unit near the kitchen the drainage was clogged resulting in dirty water stagnating. Which was solved hours later because of the complicated problem but it wasted our time a lot. These issues should be fixed before guest arrive and whenever the villas are empty considering it’s a luxury villa and guests pay quite abit for a place like this. 3. Air conditioning was really bad on most rooms. One of it until the last day even after fixed was still faulty at times blowing warm air. The others were fixed after hours again wasting our time. Idling at the villa waiting for them to fix everything. Please ramp up on your maintenance. Other than that you guys have a good front team and also great place to have a big group with the pool more than about 2meters I depth I think. Amazing large pool and landscaping. We had the giant unicorn float to play with too. Outdoor showers were nice too.

ultimate relaxation”
Had a great stay in Kelapa where the German manager was very helpful explaining how stuff works on the island. Staff was very helpful during our entire stay. Private villa's have all the necessities you would need ( clean outside bathroom, tv+sattelite, kitchenette, swimmingpool etc.) Wifi was laggy, we didn't bother too much since we were on holiday. Location is not too close to the beach and bars so you have to take the compimentary bike if you are heading out.In short one of the best accommodations I've ever staydes
