Close to the sights and sounds of the pedestrian shopping area and financial district, the luxurious Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest is your perfect spot if you want to be right in the middle of downtown Budapest. Some attractions around are theaters, museums, and the Opera House. The hotel’s gastronomical restaurant “Kaffeehouse Style” is Budapest’s hottest hang out place in town. Or if you want to tone down the mood, step into The Blue Fox Bar with a total vibe of elegance. For original Hungarian and Viennese cuisine, make a stop at ES Bisztro. And if you crave for sushi, situated in the hotel is Nobu Restaurant – the first branch in Central-Eastern-Europe. Here it offers you a variety of Japanese mouthwatering menu. Unwind in the Kempinski Spa or educate yourself at the Kempinski Gallery, which specializes in modern Hungarian art.
"Cannot fault this hotel, everything was perfect."

Great location and spacious room”
Hotel is within walking distance to almost everything
Dear Wing, We couldn’t agree with you more! We are thrilled that our hotel was exactly what you needed, located in the heart of Budapest. We look forward to welcoming you back for more great memories and treats. Kind regards, Silvia Rajniak Executive Assistant Manager
A Room Without A View”
A Great hotel with excellent staff, but in Budapest, I really missed staying in a hotel with a view of the Danube and the Palace; having had that beautiful view on the 7 times I had visited Budapest in past years, before this 8th visit. Furthermore, the price I paid did not include breakfast - so didn't think it was full value for the money paid.
Dear Jeannie, Greetings from Budapest and thank you so much for the overall positive rating. It was our pleasure to have the opportunity to host you and we are glad to hear our staff was excellent and made you feel comfortable. I am so sorry that the view from your room failed to meet your expectations. Your feedback is of the utmost importance to us in our daily efforts of providing the service and attention you deserve. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Best regards, Silvia Rajniak Executive Assistant Manager
Perfect base in Budapest”
The hotel was located in the heart of the city and within walking distance to 80% of the tourist spots. Classic European decor. Most memorable experience was the outstanding service provided by the concerige team. As we only had 24 hours in Budapest, they took care of every single need, helping us maximize the time in the city: from booking tuk tuk tours, river cruise, recommending restaurants, local dishes. The guys who work there deserve every bit of credit!
Dear Lok, Many thanks for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent stay with us. It was a pleasure to have you with us as our guest. I will be sure to forward your wonderful comments detailing your satisfaction to the Concierge team here at Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest as they deserve every bit of credit indeed! I do hope to welcome you back in the not too distant future. Warmest regards István Kovács Hotel Manager
An enjoyable stay ,with a great location opposite the big Ferris Wheel. Room was large, would have preferred a separate shower (not climb in the bath) Nora on reception was impertinent and argumentative ,needs Customer Service Training (big time!!) Loved dinner at Nobu, food was great, although Peter the waiter was surly.
Dear Stephen, Thank you very much for your feedback regarding your recent stay at Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest. I was delighted to read that our location, the size of your room and the dinner at Nobu met your expectations. Rest assured, our staff are completing regular trainings to improve the service quality and therefore the comfort of our guests. We hope to welcome you back one day in the not too distant future. Kind regards, Edvard Szabo-Veber Front Office Manager
Value for money and very good location”
The hotel is strategically located with the Christmas market just right outside door next to the cafe entrance. The room size is very spacious. It is also within walking distance to metro, tram and bus. The only setback is not with the hotel but the metro station has no elevator and just stairs. So if you have big luggage better to take taxi.
Old world elegance”
Budapest is an amazing city and the Kempinski is the right hotel to stay in as it is walking distance to a almost everything you may want to see in 2 to 3 days. The underground is nearby and the Jewish quarter less than 10 minutes walk away. Lots of restaurants and shops and near the lion fountain where most walking tours commence. Great service, very good concierge who will direct you to great restaurants.
A really excellent stay in Budapest. ”
Overall good. Cant fault a Kempinski. But small things like placing a small chocolate during turn down service could hv been done. Weather info could also be provided somewhere in hotel instead of needing to ask for it.
There are a few other similar hotels nearby this hotel, but it is a good location, within walking distance to the famous bridge, and many nice restaurants nearby hotel, the room is okay, we enjoy our time staying here
The hotel was centrally located (at Fashion Street) and only about 10 minutes walk to the Chain Bridge. Hotel staff was very helpful and always with a ready smile. Room was big and very clean. Spa and fitness center also a plus.
Central location with nice rooms”
Within easy reach of the airport (30 min by taxi), warm and friendly welcome, speedy check-in. Rooms are spaciaous and modern. All main attractions in Pest are within walking distance, easy to get over to Buda as well.
First stay here at Kempinski Budapest. Didn't use the pool or the spa so don't know, but the staff were very professional and friendly. Breakfast was great. The room was nice and free wifi was excellent. The view on the square was cool. Good restaurants nearby and shops as well. Will go back
Security is a problem”
The location is super convenient and the room and the hotel environment is very comfortable. However, we were very surprised that our security box was open and our notebook and stuff in the security box were taken out and put on the desk far from the security box after we returned from the breakfast. The room had already cleaned by the housekeeper at that time. Nothing was stolen, but we were very worried about the hotel security and asked to put our stuff in the security box of the reception. It's better not to put your valuable stuff in the security box in the room.
Wonderful week in Budapest ”
The week we spent at the Kempinski was great. It is centrally located - we could walk to many of the sights or take a few metro or bus stops. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The spa facility was great to come back to after a day of sightseeing. There was a little excitement whilst we were there - the hotel was evacuated due to a fire - it was handled very professionally and we were able to use the facilities at the next door Ritz hotel for the couple of hours. The Kempinski staff were in frequent attendance the whole time to check on our wellbeing. Would highly recommend for all types of traveller
Dear Carolyn, Thank you for posting this wonderful comment following your recent stay with us. We are glad to have met your expectations, from our spacious and comfortable rooms, great spa facilities to the service provided by our welcoming and helpful staff. Regarding the fire alarm, I have shared your heartwarming words with our staff. They showed indeed professional attitude and teamwork during these challenging hours. We are very proud of our employees who are not just doing their everyday job at a high standard but they can react to sudden situations such as this evacuation. Thank you so much for taking the time to rate your experience and I hope we may welcome you back again soon. Warm regards, Silvia Rajniak Executive Assistant Manager
Good location, a bit dated but well kept”
Good location, decor was a bit dated but well kept. Unforunately the main incident of our stay was that an emergency evacuation training drill was conducted without notice to the rooms. We stayed on the top floor (9th) and my poor 70 y.o. mum with knee problems had to rush down the emergency stairwell only to see that everything was as per normal on GF, but there was another group of unhappy customers woken up from their bed who had run down as well. Response from staff was simply that a notice should have been in our rooms, but there clearly wasnt any. We are here again because we prebooked it and its as per our route of travel but didnt receive much customer service other than a brief "sorry".
Dear Sharon, Thank you for taking the time to post a review about your recent visit. Please allow me to personally extend my sincere and heartfelt apologies for the annoyance you experienced due to us being inadequately informed about the evacuation training. Although our aim was to place a note about the drill in every guest room, it seems that we failed in your case. That's why I am so happy that our Lady in Red had the opportunity to meet you during your stay and you accepted our apologies. As a testament to our strive for perfection, we have taken steps to ensure that this type of challenges is properly handled and resolved in the future. Thank you for your kind words about our central location and well-kept hotel and we hope to regain your full trust and confidence at your next stay. Kind regards, Stephan Interthal General Manager
Beautiful hotel. Excellent location for shopping and restaurants. Rooms first class. Excellent breakfast. One of our party took sick and the hotel arranged for a doctor and sent the concierge out for the prescription - truly excellent service that seems to not exist anymore. If go to Budapest you could stay nowhere better
Dear Darren, I am delighted to read what a wonderful experience you had here at Kempinski Hotel Corvinus. It is true we are conveniently located in the city centre and the main shopping area as well as at walking distance from the city's many attractions. Your kind recognition of our Concierge service is certainly gratifying and we have already shared this with our team. This will no doubt motivate them to provide an even more excellent service. We were extremely happy to hear that you truly enjoyed your stay and that you would definetely choose our hotel again at your future visits. Warm regards from Budapest István Kovács Hotel Manager
5 Star Perfection”
When they say 5 star, they mean it! Perfect, courteous, responsive service and a room that delights! The location is excellent, just steps to Andrassy Avenue, Vorosmarty Square, and Vaci Street and the staff are quick to offer a taxi and directions. You really never need to leave the hotel...delicious restaurants, coffee and dessert, and a nightclub are all inside as well as spa services. My room was comfortable and lovely and the staff furnished water daily (on Easter I was presented with chocolates!)...there really is no better place to stay!
A couple of disappointing issues that shows management problems. Firstly, I come back from a business meeting and wanted to work in the room before dinner meetings. At 2pm the room wasn't cleaned. I went to the desk to ask that it be cleaned and took a walk At 3:15 it still wasn't cleaned. I went to the desk and the woman I spoke to earlier scuttled away when she saw me coming. Finally it was cleaned at 4:45. Secondly, I had a drink from the minibar. There was an empty bottle in the minibar. Next morning I reported it to the front desk. Two days later it was still in the minibar, no one bothered to deal with it. So - poorly managed.
Wonderful stay at the Kempinsky Corvinus”
We loved our stay at the Kempinsky Corvinus, overlooking the Elizabet park. The metro entrance is just 70 meters away, and the Danube is just a couple of blocks. The pool and spa are fantastic. The pool is not large but the current means you can swim without reaching the end. The interior of the hotel is quite chic. Our main disappointment was not scheduling a dinner at Nobu, but a Michelin starred restaurant is within easy walking distance. We'll definitely plan to stay here on our next visit.
The Kempinski hotel made our stay in Budapest extremely enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble and the service was excellent. The rooms were generous in size and the beds very comfortable. The location in the city centre and close to the river was ideal. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.
Would repeat again”
Our stay at the Kempinski Corvinius was worth the value we've paid for. The staff was competent and attentive, spoke good English; the Hotel's location very satisfactory, rooms immaculate, quite and functionally equipped, including Wi-Fi and foreign TV programmes selection. Should we ever cross this lovely Hungarian capital again, and likely will, the Kempinski's facility would be our top choice again. I most strongly and favourably would recommend any visitor to Budapest to stay in this lovely and welcoming facility!
