A comfortable stay in a quality hotel”
The Kempinski San Lawrenz is a quality five star hotel with a good range of leisure activities for people of any age. We had a good stay, with a comfortable room, attentive staff and a great breakfast.
Peaceful paradise”
I only stayed one night but we really enjoyed it.I recommend San Lawrenz to anyone wanting to spend a few days in comfort near a pool and is made to feel really special by the staff.
Lovely atmosphere on the relaxed island of Gozo”
the hotel provides one of the best atmosphere for relaxation in malta/gozo. me and my wife enjoyed the beautiful pool area where there is so nice and quiet. if you are looking for a romantic getaway or a relaxed holiday in a luxurious hotel this is the best alternative. the food is quiet expensive even for a 5-star standard but gozo is small so you find better alternative not far away.
Gozo, Malta-The Kempinski”
We spent a wonderful 4 days at the Kempinski resort on Gozo. The breakfast is without a doubt amongst the best I've ever had at a hotel. It would have been nice to have been informed about the road diversions prior to arriving in Gozo. Given that it was my second time staying there it would have been 'Welcomed' back.
Great hotel and service, Comfortable rooms”
This hotel is superb. The main features are the roomy suites and the marvelous room which are very accessible from every room. The only downside to the hotel is that the carpark is not linked to the hotel from the underground snd therefore you will have to walk up the carpark ( with luggages) and out from the carpark through the main entrance door of the hotel. The restaurants are expensive but offer delicious food and great service. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Delicious fresh local fruit. All in all, this must be the best hotel on the island.
Totally relaxed stay ”
From morning to night, Restaurant, pool side and guest room in any occasion, we really enjoyed this hotel. Well educated staff especially seasonal student workers are fresh and well trained. Some local worker we found little rude though. One point we regret was SPA, I purchased Facial course, it was ridiculously expensive but no explanation of treatment and no guide for after-care. Person who talked was local Maltese staff who did not guide me right course (though I explained what I want) and staff who treated actual course was seems a Russian? Lady that I did not understand a word of her… , So I felt that I drained all expensive cosmetic to the pool. Don’t go to Spa.
Great Hotel, great breakfast, amazing diving”
He came just before season start and the hotel to ourselves. Breakfast was amazing, huge selection of everything, never saw smoked swordfish. The diving center was well equiped and the instructors and owner very nice. On foot you reach the west shore and the blue window in less than an hour and by bus and foot it is easy to explore the island. Gym and Spa area is well equipped, too bad is a bit too cold to head to the XL outdoor pool.
Great staff, good food but room could be improved”
I booked Deluxe pool view and was upgraded to a suite. The updgrated room was located at main building directly facing the pool. Excellent location and view and huge in room size. Thanks a lot! However the wifi and air conditioning were not working, and the TV was not clear. I tried to change to another room as I needed wifi for some work and also it was hot without AC. However after some comparison, I decided to stay at the upgraded room. In any case, during the process, the staff was very friendly and tried to help which really made a difference and let me decide to accept the things that not going well. However, hopefully they could fix these because it is still a five star hotel and otherwise it could not meet the expectation and not worth for the money. By the way, the hotel has scheduled shuttle buses to Victoria and two other places which help because the hotel is not located in the city and not many public buses pass by the hotel.
A Great Escape!!”
The rooms are spacious, we had a balcony that over looked the pool areas which was really beautiful. The staff are extremely friendly & helpful and the breakfasts were amazing! Would go back to the hotel time & time again. we loved it!
great hotel”
It's a relly nice hotel with all kind of services, many are for free like a bus to the beach. The breakfast was very very good, the only bad thing to say about it is that thet did not have fresh orange juice. The rooms are very nice, big and beautiful and the staff is really nice and helpful :)
Clean and silent hotel”
All employees are very kind and facilites are clean. Especially breakfast is very satisfying. Location is far from ferry station. But i had a body massage, it was a bit expensive (than at the hotel in Valletta, malta) and not that satisfying.
Beautiful resort”
Peaceful oasis in traditional Maltese style with lovely gardens, amazing pools, and enormous spa area. Distant ocean views. Tranquil setting. Excellent restaurants and food, outstanding service. Rooms are comfortable and spacious.
Fantastic hotel in all ways!!”
A1 luxury all round. The room was great and had everything you can wish for. All the staff were excellent and always offered service with a smile and whenever we asked for something it was seen to immediately.
Great location and lovely hotel”
Had a very nice weekend. The hotel was really nice and service was good too.
Good hotel but service not up to 5* standard”
good hotel and no doubt very popular in summer as a resort but in winter the hotel building was very cold (no heating in corridors) and staff in the restaurant/breakfast were slow breakfast wasn't really fully operational at 8am when it opened.
Luxury and serenity”
The best things I liked were the 3 outdoor pools and the breakfast on the terrace. It was only one night but i completely relaxed and recharged my batteries
Over priced”
we think that value for money is not good. We were given a room infront of an engine room which made a lot of sound/humming. Even with the closed balcony door you could hear it, even at night, it was annoying. The shower did not work properly, both on hot and cold. When setting on hot after a few seconds it will turn cold and vice-versa. We had to take a bath every time. The buffet was very good and staff very helpful. For what we paid we expected much more.
Relaxing & simply beautiful hotel with great staff”
Amazing experience & the attention to detail & outstanding customer experience made our stay simply memorable!
Fantastic hotel”
lovely stay in several ways. staff very welcoming and helpful. facilities great. excellent breakfast.
Superb hotel, well worthy of it's 5 star rating”
an overnight stay that could have been a week for how relaxed and destressed i felt afterwards.
