Out of touch with hospitality standards ”
Friendly but unhelpful reception (e.g. I had to go and ask parking guard for parking availability instead of Reception phoning or finding out). Huge generator outside window woke me up at 5am, followed by a fire alarm. Guests were up and loud until midnight.. Never again...

Horrible”
I stayed in 211. My neighbors partied through Friday night until Saturday 05h00 and then partied on Saturday night until Sunday morning. More that 10-15 people in room. Drunk and fighting etc. I complained but no action was taken. I will report to booking services. Terrible experience.

Poor standards”
In November, I booked a King Suite online. Upon arrival, the receptionist gave us the shabbiest room in the entire hotel; even worse than a standard room. When we went to complain, she was interestingly quite aware of all the 'flaws' in the room. Worse, she was not even aware that we had booked a King Suite (how?). Interestingly, we were told that all King Suites were occupied. We ended up being transferred to Osner Hotel, without a choice. This week, I booked the King Suite again. I called a day earlier to alert the receptionist of my booking and my previous experience. I secured it this time. It is nicely spacious but really dated. The DSTV was playing very few channels. I reported it and was promised that a technician would be sent to reset it. He never arrived. The receptionist told us that he had called him. Further, the windows were very dirty, just like it was in the shabby room of the previous month. How does a hotel that offers sea-views keep windows dirty?

Room reservation inconvinience”
I booked a King's room (honeymoon suite) online and a 50% deposit was debited from my account. When we arrived to check in, we were given a room that is in a very bad shape (even worse than the standard rooms I am used to at Kennaway Hotel). When we returned to the reception to raise a query, we were informed that all honeymoon suites were not available. A call was made to a manager at Osner Hotel who decided that we should be taken to Osner Hotel, without even an apology. We ended up staying at Osner Hotel, in a room that had a leaking toilet.

Carpets are dirty and old as well as furniture is old. Parking gates have no remote and you have to hoot, no one opens for a long time. Going to the rooms you are greeted by cockroaches. At least the linen is clean. Sea facing rooms are enjoyable.
