Someone messed up BIG TIME--Sent no check-in information!”
The Kensington Serviced Apartment was great, but no one sent me check in information--neither Agoda nor the property, so I had no address or phone number, no key code. The only thing I had from Agoda was my receipt with a worthless link to a map that only showed the area, not the property. This caused me to wander around for nearly 3 hours. To try to contact customer service without my cancelled credit card number was a disaster because their automated system disconnects you without the last four of your card. This is ridiculous as anything can happen to a credit card--including losing it, theft of it, or cancelling it. I finally was able to locate this number and got to a person after many tears and leaving my family of 5 inside the nearby Sainsbury's sitting on the floor for nearly 3 hours. This was vacation HELL. Once Agoda finally got the property on the phone all was great. The fan to the bathroom is weak and clogged up and so the place gets muggy, but other than that we loved it.

Perfect for families and groups”
I would like to acknowledge the friendliness of support staff at this apartment. The hotel accomodated us at 9am on the day we arrived and was able to extend checkout until 3pm without any additional charges. They offered solutions to make our stay convinient, which is refreshing. The apartment is about 5 mins walk from Earl’s Court Station and about 8/10 min walk from Gloucester Rd. Quiet street and no disruptions at night. The room was comfortable, facilities neat, safe and equipped with all essentials to allow for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended for groups.

It was everything that I expected and as described. The instructions for entry were good and self explanatory. 5 minute walk from both Gloucester Rd & Earls Court tube stations. No wifi which would have helped massively. No-one to meet & greet though it wasn't necessary with the instructions. Everything was adequate for a 2 night stay over whilst I was in business. Kitchen facilities if needed. The room was basic, on the first floor, no lift if you struggle with stairs. No view as at the back of the building. I would use again, TV in room. No problems at all.

I booked a superior studio and what I got was a very dark basic basement study which out of the nine spot lights in the ceiling only 3 worked, the lights under the kitchen cabinets did not work . There was a single pain large window which looked out onto an ally. My husband was only with me for the first night and I did not feel safe at all at night, I therefore booked myself into a hotel at a cost of £360, in order to feel safe. The basement studio was nothing at all like the photo on the website , which I thought I had booked, in fact I cannot see it on the website at all . I have stayed in other serviced apartments in London and always been impressed, but this was an awful experience and turned out to be extra cost to me , very disappointed.

Serviced Apartment Without the Service”
First challenge for this property is there is no correct street number or address published on the hotel booking slip.... The post code listed is for the sainsburys near by... Luckily for me i stayed my first night in london with my sister and the penny dropped when i was about to get a taxi to the location, Tried to call the number listed on the booking slip 4 or 5 times with no answer... Then after half an hour on hold to Agoda they managed to contact the property and i was given the real address.... to save some of you time SW50PY The lady who i communicated was nice and friendly, met her at the door and got the key, which was the full extent of interactions with the serviced apartment. Location was fantastic, short walk from Earls Court and Gloucester Road Stations, Unit size was nice, outlook okay, The fridge had an ungodly smell, which wafted out any time the door was opened, and the toilet had deep brown stains in the base. room was nothing like the photos it turned out to be a tiny room with 2 beds in not enough room to swing a cat in., but hey it was only one night ...... until we found out were were sharing with some rather large beetles. Rang the number provided and was told someone would come and see to it yet no one bothered. would never use again

Third times the charm ”
I rented out the room for some family members that were coming to visit me. First, the pricing was just absolutely ridiculous. On top of that we couldn’t get the keys to the room even! Because it is self check in, my key wasn’t placed were it was supposed to be. They tried to give us another room but the key couldn’t be located either. Finally I end up with a key for the room. The initial room we got had an awful yellow stain on the entire bed as well as the towels that were placed on there. Everything was yellow because the ceiling had a crack that allowed water to enter and stain the bedding as well as everything around it. This is probably my fourth call to their office. Finally someone decides to come down and see what they could do. They ‘upgraded’ us to a bigger room with a balcony. The bathroom smelled horrible, the TV didn’t work and it was just one mess after another. With how much was spent on the rooms, I will NEVER recommend someone to go there or use them myself again.

I was woken twice by someone knocking on my door asking me to keep the noise down when I was asleep.....turns out it was another flat....we could hear running water late into the nigh ... So wouldn't recommend it

Wasted time looking for fake address given by Agoda. Easy to find once we got through to owner's contact. Location was nearby supermarket. Efficient check-in conducted by phone where we were given combination number to open a key locker containing keys to flat. Minor con was no air-conditioning which would have been useful during hot days.

Staff are very helpful and accommodating to our requests. Good location between Gloucester Road and Earls Court underground. Restaurants and supermarkets located nearby. Walking distance to The Natural History Museum. Pleasant experience.

Very basic. Just about had what we needed. However, there was lots of mold in the bathroom, no soap or shower gel. We'd asked for a twin room, were told we'd get a twin room but it wasn't a twin room that we got. Unfortunately, we wouldn't recommend or stay there again.

Total Fraud!”
The apartment looks nothing like the picture and was a total dump!! They will send you check-in info only after 4pm on the day of arrival so make sure you have internet and access to emails. Had to call them 4 times for the arrival information. Had to call them several times for an iron which never arrived. No mobile reception in the apartment so also had to step out to make the call. Photos of the actual apartment were shared with Agoda on the night of arrival but still had to stay and the hotel manager on the phone had to consult her manager before agreeing to refund. Total fraud! Buyer beware. ON A POSITIVE NOTE, AGODA STAFF WERE HELPFUL AND TRIED THEIR BEST TO HELP.

Not Worth... Guest MM Singapore”
Pls stay only if you do not get any other place to stay. The apartment was dirty, in a run down place, with noisy guests all around. To top it all, we had water pouring down (yes pouring) from the floor above via the ceiling lamp....... My suggestion - pay a bit more and stay somewhere else. The location is great but everything else is down the tube

Warning warning: There were mold inside and no refund”
We had to cancel our reservation because of breathing problems and we stayed there for 30 minutes. They didn't refund anything of our over £1000 reservation. We had to book a new place without getting refund. Agoda said that they can't do anything about this because property owner doesn't want to refund anything. Our advice is to avoid this apartment.

Dirty, filthy, paint peeling off from the ceiling in the shower room, mould in kitchen and windows. I wouldn't recommend this to dog.
