Great value lodging in West London”
This fantastic budget hotel is located on a quiet street in the West Kensington section of London that is close to two underground stations (Earl's Court, West Kensington) and one overground station (Kensington- Olympia). The rooms are a small yet comfortable and equipped with large beds, TVs, private bathrooms and a hot water kettle for coffee/tea. Staff was generally helpful and responsive to my requests. The only negative would be the stained carpet in my room that probably should be replaced (or at least very thoroughly cleaned). All things considered, I consider this excellent option for the budget traveler seeking accommodations in West London.

Handy for London attractions and Heathrow Airport”
Room clear but small, bathrom sink was cracked but not a problem. Main problem we had was intermittent Internet access and with a Teenage child continuous trouble free Internet access is a necessity. Road alongside the hotel is a quite road so no traffic noise at night. Staff very helpful. Easy walking distance to the West Kensington tube station allowing easy access to Central London and the Westfield Shopping Centre. Heathrow airport by London Transport Tube is an inexpensive way to get to and from Heathrow (change at Barons Court). If I was visiting London again I would stay at this hotel.

Leonid”
Overall a very good experience. The hotel is conveniently located within a walking distance from West Kensington underground station and bus stops at Kensington Olympia. Rooms are small but clean and well equipped: toilet, shower and even a little tea kettle with cups and tea/coffee bags - really appreciated.

Cheap hotel close to the underground ”
This is a small hotel with small rooms in West Kensington about 5 minutes walk to the underground. The room itself is small but clean and with everything you need for a short journey. The surrounding area is quiet and you can find supermarkets and fast food at night.

Clean and simple”
The rooms at Kensington West are small and the hotel in general is not spacious; tiny lobby area etc. However the room was very neat, modern and clean. Perfect for a solo traveler. Get a double room even as a solo traveler; the space is ideal.

Clean hotel with friendly staff”
We had a great time staying at Kensington West Hotel. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us a lot of good suggestions and they were always at our disposal. Room we were staying was small but very clean and we did not need more for a city trip. We can definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London.

Decent place to stay”
I really liked the hotel. It'clean and neat. The room though not big is quite comfy and has electric teapot with a set of cups, a TV-set, the bathroom has shower-gel and soap in it and overall the room and bathroom were very clean and tidy. The cleaning was done on a daily basis. Towels were changed regularly. The staff were extremely friendly and always eager to assist. The hotel is situated in a rather tranquil area. As the windows of our room were facing the street, we could hear some noises from the outside. Some of the previous reviewers would comment on the lack of breakfast, but sincerely, since there was no mentioning of breakfast in the hotel description, why one would expect it? When in London I prefer walking to using public transport. And I found the hotel to be somehow remote to the downtown. However, if you're fine with taking the tube, go for it - the hotel is very conveniently located. My overall impression of the hotel is very good: I would definately recommend it to my friends.

Very cool”
We stay in Kensington for one night. Very good location, the hotel was clean, nice looking, staff was very helpful and warm. The room was basic but very cosy. The value of money versus quality was tip-top. We would stay also in the future.

Greeted by friendly staff. Processed in minutes”
The room was very small but as we were only staying for 2 nights this was acceptable. Both the room and the toilet/shower were clean. There was free internet provided and a hairdryer and tv in the room. A coffee machine was on the ground floor with unlimited free drinks. For the price you got everything that was needed for a short stay in London. It was only 3 minutes from the nearest tube station and had shops like Tesco and Sainsbury's close at hand; there were also several eating places close by but we chose to travel to Kensington South where there were really very good and varied places to eat. We would go again to this hotel.

Very clean, nice night staff, quality mattress, bit noisy”
I stayed during a heat wave so my window was cracked to get a bit of ventilation. I was also on the front side, albeit three floors up, but the street sounds started early. Not a busy street but a noisy one. If you're a light sleeper you'll want earplugs. The hotel itself was quiet and the room small but very nice, very clean with crisp linens. I was quite comfortable and felt very safe. The walk from the station is a bit daunting at midnight because it is so quiet, but in the daytime you see it's quite pretty. There is a corner shop, an off-licence and a Sainsbury's on the corner. There's also a lovely little café for breakfast in the morning. Free WiFi in the hotel.

Disappointing”
AGODA is lying ! They refered to the hotel location as in Earls Court while it's Miles from there. Hotel is located in a place called Kensington West, and the hotel itself is more than 20 minutes walk to the tube; again, the West Kensington station. Most of the time there is no hot water! No WIFI and when you ask for help from the staff they play in a closed street!!! Agoda needs to check and inspect the selected places before listing it; it's necessary.

Average budget hotel”
It is average hotel. Need 8 minutes walk to station. The station is West Kensington station. No lift in the station n very hard to take the big luggage. The hotel is very old n no facilities at all. If you have other hotel to choose n better go for others.

Basic hotel but not a 3 star one”
Its a small hotel around west kensington. I stayed here for a night. The room was hot but no fans in the hotel as informed by the night reception. No phone in the room and charging points located near the door than the bed or desk. Overall, not value for money for the price paid. Staff are friendly and location is good though.

Cheap no frills hotel”
If you are looking for a cheap no frills hotel this is it. Staff are on call 24/7 & always happy to help. I just wanted a room to sleep this was perfect & cheap! Very close to the tube. Hot drinks are provided in the room, they are no frills too but that was ok as I always take my own coffee.

Room was near to Central London”
It was easy to commute to Central London from the hotel however the room provided was too small. As per the room map the 1 provide to us was the smallest of all. We felt the space is not worth for the money paid. We stayed there for 2 nights and asked them to change the bath towel however they didn't change it and said unless we place the towel in bathroom they will not change it. There was no holder in the bathroom even to hang the bath towel. There was no telephone in the room to reach reception in case of any doubts. Not even floor mats outside washrooms .Weather was so hot in london and the fan provided by them was of no use. We reached early and paid extra for early check-in however they helped us to keep our luggage's in reception post checkout and marked it with a luggage tag. We went outside and returned late then collected our luggages. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Overall space is small and facilities were not satisfactory. People who look for a spacious room shouldn't opt for this hotel.

Exceptional”
fantasic staff brilliant value for money and local. only one thing I can say is on the night some of the guests were knocking on the hotel rooms messing about and been really loud. but I would stay here again.

Cheap and cheerful”
Nice, clean and modern. Room can barely fit a queen sized bed so cat swingers beware. Still, for the price there's nothing to complain about and the staff were super helpful and courteous. I'll definitely be back.
