We loved this hotel, the pool was great, the staff were really friendly and attentive. the only bad point was one of the dogs was a bit vicious but its fine if you just ignore it.

Absolutely everything we wanted and more. This was our treat and retreat after long trips in dirty dusty buses around Cambodia and was exactly what we needed to recoup. Just perfect.

We had a great family holiday here and will probably come back. That said, while food was good, it wasn't great, and the place would benefit from having a few more competent staff (many there were obviously new and a bit clueless!).

Very disappointing”
Old, dirty and uncomfortable....we were not able to use the pool because the water was so dirty that we didn't dare to try it !

Kep Lodge, a less enchanting place would be difficult to find. The ‘resort’ has been let go. No power during the day, no room cleaning, no phone reception, no bottled water and nobody cleaning the poo”
I would seriously reconsider your association with this resort

No electricity all, day, no body explained us why and we've been charge an extra day in cash for obsurs reasons”
I'm still dealing with agoda to recover the money i've been summed to pay at check out, the electricity was off all day i don't know why, which i wouldn't have mind if it wouldn't have been a surprise , and if at least the water was working in both the toilet and the shower. The staff didn't help much, the included breakfast worth 50Cents or you need to pay extra.

Very disappointed ”
I arrived around 9pm after sending a note. There was a nice man at the reception but he had no idea who I was and I had to find my name on the computer. The restaurant was closed and there was no room service. The room and bathroom were filthy, the sheets had obviously not been changed. I never had any hot water and in the 3 days I spent at Kep Lodge my room has never been cleaned. The place is beautiful but everything sees to be falling apart. There is no electricity during the day hence no Internet. I have been to Kep Lodge a few years ago and it was fantastic. It is as if the owner wants this business to colapse. Very sad.

Not as good as it used to be ”
This was my third time here and it was sad to see how it's gone downhill. They want the place sold and the owner isn't doing much to keep the business going. The staff are very nice, but cleanliness and the food isn't great. The breakfast is still good though. I hope someone buys the place soon and can restore it back to what it was. Until then...I won't be going back.

Bad surprise”
Kep Lodge is for sale since october and I think is the reason why now almost everything is bad... - No electricity in the day, every day! - No service room - Half things in the menu not avalable - No credit card, you have to pay cash only - Some staff and the atmosphere very strange - Pool is dirty... and more Positive point, potential to be a very nice place. The view and nature very beautiful.

Forget it”
Apparently, the management has changed since the owner has left the place to his wife...terrible service, bed sheets and towels were exhausted. No blanket, no hot water, no wifi, no bottles of water. Dirty swimming pool, cannot use it ! Terrible stay....

This is a nice place in the jungle on the edge of a National Park. This true. However, the rooms smelled musty. Because of the rainy season, I'm not sure? The manager lady was quite dower, never smile”
There were also issues with cleanliness; dog hair on the seat cushions and mold on the toothpicks. It could be better!

Run down and overpriced”
The pool is nice, but otherwise the rooms are rundown and in disrepair. The more expensive 'deluxe' rooms have a nice balcony, but they're conjoined to another room with only a flimsy door in between. Better options available for less or just go to Veranda.

A bit overrated”
The location is good to chill-out, however I visited already a lot of places in Cambodia and had much better hostels or guesthouses (cleaner & more taken care of) to a cheaper price compared to Kep Lodge. Therefore, I was a bit disappointed. The food is ok, however the Cambodian people and family there were really nice.

LOVED KEP LODGE”
This was incredible, we loved our two night stay! We stayed at the coconut, we had no air con or hot water yet it was still beautiful, you don't really need the aircon, the breeze is beautiful. The staff were all great, only one lady was a tad abrupt but the others were great. The food was average but drinks and destination was fabulous! Highly recommend this place for a tropical jungle getaway

Fantastic place to stay!”
The privacy of the bungalows, the surrounding flora and the peaceful atmosphere of the place.
I only spent 1 night there, but I definitely want to return. The Lodge is located around the national park which means the bungalows are surrounded by brightly coloured flowers and plants of all different kinds. You can wander the pathways, relax by the pool, sit upstairs watching the sunset over the ocean and chat with the friendly staff. I felt really comfortable there. The only thing to be aware of is that is it a bit far out of the main town, especially if you want to go out in the evening. The staff are happy to call a tuktuk though.

Kep Lodge”
The food, the pool, and most of the staff
Ok. Disappointed that it was so far from the town and the beach, which was inconvenient for us. Our welcome was not good: a very surly gum-chewing woman took a long time to check us in, which did not give a good initial impression. The rest of the staff, however, were all helpful and charming, as we have come to expect in Cambodia. The room was adequate, but very poorly lit, and the bathroom was not especially clean.

Idyllic with very nice pool ”
Pool, scenery
Breakfast view from the upstairs lounge was great. Room are very simple equipped (matching to environmental concept of lodge), but all necessary things were available. Friendly chat with Swiss owner. Would have liked to stay longer and tried the Swiss food on the menu in the restaurant. Pool was superb.

Location, swimming pool, accomodation
Having looked at many hotels in Kep over the last 5 years I keep coming back to Kep Lodge. It's a beautiful setting, fantastic pool and private accommodation. Staff performance sometimes a bit sporadic but well meant. It really is the best option in Kep and I will keep returning. So peaceful and relaxing.
