Nice location, very nice room for the price, and the woman at the counter was so lovely - making people welcome and comfortable was clearly her top priority.

In a peaceful natural setting with a beautiful river running through it, this holiday park has a large children’s playground. 24-hour internet kiosks and a covered BBQ area are available. Kerikeri Holiday Park & Motels is situated just 500 metres from the centre of Kerikeri. The tour desk can arrange Bay of Islands cruises, winery tours, and trips to Cape Reinga and Ninety Mile Beach. Guests can relax in the TV room with comfortable sofas or play table tennis in the games room. Shared kitchen, laundry and bathroom facilities are available. Cabins with self-catering facilities are available. Some include a private bathroom, while others enjoy views of the Puketorara River. WiFi is available at a small extra charge in all rooms.

Great value and location ”
The cabin was basic with bunk beds & cooking equipment. It was clean and very quiet. Great view over the river and close to the amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful with local knowledge. The only issue, it was hot and couldn’t leave the windows open as no fly screens.

For the price it was not really up to scratch. No soap or shampoo etc in the dispensers. Musky smelling bed covers. More of a back packers accomodation instead of motel so price should accomodate that. Staff were lovely.

Dirty big cockroach and rude owner!”
Lucky we only stayed for a night as we found a big cockroach on the cutlery drawer on top of the knives. I rung the reception and was told the issue that its normal in their hotel to have cockroach around🙄. I asked if she can come and clean it, instead she asked if i can kill it myself😲. She then turned up and sprayed the entire cutlery drawer wiht cutleries in it with insect spray. Yes the whole cutlery drawer then picked up the cockroach with the kitchen towel. She washed the forks dont know why as the cockroach was on the knives then dried with the towel she used to pick up the cockroach with. I thouht it was disgusting! Never again and surely not recommended to anyone to come in this horrible hotel. And take note wifi is not free on this hotel👎. Also, she charged us extra person without even consulting us even we booked for the right qty. We showed the confirmation email and she dont want to know. We contacted Agoda and they gave the refund back!

Beautiful spot but…”
This holiday park is in a lovely place looking over the creek, citrus trees throughout. However our bathroom had black hairs all in the plug hole and around all the shower edges which made the whole place feel so dirty. We stayed in winter and there were lots of fruit pickers staying, which was great to see after recent years. But they had all their clothes hanging drying all around and in the playground. We were travelling with two toddlers and chose a holiday park to stay for the playground and freedom for the kids to play and explore but it made us feel very awkward and we didn’t enjoy it so much. Luckily the hosts were accommodating to us and allowed us to cut our stay short by a day.

我住的是一房apartment。房間非常乾淨，電爐很ok,冰箱有獨立冷凍，也很乾淨。唯一大概是kettle比較髒，但是這個我能理解。廚具大致上都有。熱水是用瓦斯燒的，洗澡非常熱。，但只有淋浴沒有浴缸。 有附餐桌可以四人一起用餐。地理位置方便，開車出去就有countdown。 以$160的價格，我覺得蠻ok的。
