Recepcionist asked me to deposit my passport until checkout. At checkout they charged me for the room even that it was paid online. Lucky that I checked. Both the above happened to me first time since at Vietnam. They said my motorbike will be taken to the garage at night (and I left them the key), but it was left on the street all night wothout wheel lock. The room was not 100% clean, and the jacuzzi bath was not appealing for even taking a shower. The view from the room was nice.

Cockroaches everywhere”
Beautiful rooms but there are lots of cockroaches everywhere. In the bathroom’s sink, under my clothes that I’ve put on the table, on the furnitures. I also saw baby cockroaches on the tables. They gave me another room on the 9th floor, but I still found a cockroach there. On a positive note, the bed is comfortable, the staff is friendly and gave nice recommendations of things to do in Lang Son.
