Very clean, cozy and cheap”
Lovely family run hostel that was exceptionally clean. The dorms are light and spacious and lead you to a formidable rooftop terrace. I found the 2d 1n tour to be slightly cheaper than most options in the village and worth the money. The helpful staff will also book you transport anywhere. Recommend.

This is the cleanest hostel I have stayed in, no mould at all and smells really nice, you can book a tour for a really good price at the hostel two days and one night tour, it was the highlight of my four month trip in Thailand, and the hostel owner was amazing her son was lovely and came on the tour with us aswell. Can't recommend enough. SO GOOD

Nice cheap hostel, but the staff”
The hostel is clean near the national park entrance. The price is the best I've found in Khao Sok but every other service there is more expensive. To do laundry, organise the bus to the next destination or just the experience I suggest to ask to other places. You can obtain the same but for a smaller price. The owner wasn't very friendly

Lost washing, rude staff”
I don’t usually write reviews but I feel this hostel is very overrated. The staff are very rude on check-in and throughout the stay. I stayed 2 nights and immediately felt like I was upsetting the older female staff member just by checking in! I also have some washing to the hostel for them to do and have lost 2-3 t-shirts, boxers and socks and have been given someone else’s top. I explained this to the staff and they just checked cctv and told me it was impossible that I owned more than 4 t shirts?? Very misguided and rude hostel, my friend stayed at one nearby and had a much better time.

Great place for backpackers ”
Had a great stay at Secret Hostel! You can book a tour to the lake at the hostel for a fair price. Also take a look at the other offers at for example the tourist information desk. The lake is still quite far away but if you want to explore the park by yourself, the entrance is just next to the hostel. If you want to meet fellow travellers, this is the right place to stay. It's clean, quite social and there's good service. The owner can help you with booking a trip to your next destination, being picked up from the hostel, for a very good price. Would recommend anyone to stay here

Nice cheap hostel in great location”
Very friendly staff Good prices on single beds Super close to the park entrance and it's walking trails Easy to leave your luggage here when you go on different excursions. We bought our lake trip package from secret, as well as our bus to Bangkok. She charges the same as everywhere else, but you'll get a breakfast included with the lake tour and sometimes she'll give you a discount if you are booking multiple trips through her. The only negative is not being able to lock the shared dorm style rooms, but there were lockers for smaller valuables.

Perfect location for visiting the national park”
The hostel was great! It was super clean, the food was great, and it is about 100m to the entrance of the park. You get a bottle of water and a roll of toilet paper on your bed every morning, you can get your laundry done for cheap, and they have a little store as well. They have small lockers you can put your valuables in and they will book tours or your bus onward for you. The owners do it all themselves and are amazing. They will even drive you to the bus stop to catch your bus. Pat is so sweet and becomes like your hostel mom. You have to share a plug-in with your bunk mate, but that really is not much of an issue. I really enjoyed my stay there and would definitely stay again.

really really clean and tidy hostel thoroughly enjoyed our stay there 2 nights. owner is really nice and helpful she can arrange tours which she offers at the hostel is well worth it as it's a mission to do anything besides a casual walk in the jungle by yourself. also good cheap food is on offer there to! highly recommend!

Pretty good ”
Great for travellers wanting a place to simple place to stay for a night or two. I recommend doing the 2 day 1 night tour and staying only one night at the hostel as there isn’t much to do unless you book more activities or explore the National Park yourself.

Best dorm I've slept in the last two months”
The beds are brand new and all super comfortable, bathrooms are modern and really clean. Even better Aunty Patch is just a gem, so kind and helpful, nothing too much trouble and she genuinely wants you to have a good time. The lake tour was excellent value with a free breakfast and extra night in the dorm included. Wonderful stay, thank you very much Aunty!!

owner charges everything very expensive, they charge me for laundry 280baht for 7 pieces , taxi only 1 kilometer 150 baht, room have nothing only bed for sleep, and bathroom have nothing, only towel, very dissapointed
