"The place was so amazing. There was 2 different environments in day and night feel .There was so fantastic when the place light up all the bulb in the night. Its given us a feeling like escape from the city, closer to the nature when u sit at the outside of tent playing with some chilling music . The place was awesome. The hammock was a total plus whereas we get to chill outside of the tent.We have take alot of nice photo during our stay. We have a nice and good experience in this place. We love this place. Will recommend this place to my friend when their next visit to khao yai ! Ps:- the sofa so comfortable ^^"

"Getting away from urban rush? This is definitely the place to satisfy that desire. Price of accommodation is reasonable coupled with fantastic service from the staffs. The nearest attraction is Khao yai national park entrance. The bath tub right in the middle of the room is unique. Really suitable for laid back couples. "

"Glamping made modern. Everything feels like a hotel, except you're staying in a tent with a modern shared bathroom and walking around the campsite with a lamp at night. Upon checking in, you're given a camp light and amenity bag that contains a tent key and mosquitoes repellent lotion. The facilities inside the tent were excellent, an air-conditioned tent with a queen-sized bed, a tv and large sofa to chill. The resort was very considerate to include straw hats (sunny weather in the day), cloth bags (to contain towels, toiletries before going to the common bathroom) and water near the entrance to wash your feet before going into the tent. We're greeted with the cool morning breeze and a beautiful scene of the Khao Yai National Park when we wake up. The endless pool is a good place to spend the afternoon lazing around the campsite or just chill in one of the hammocks lying around. "

"The check in process was fast and easy. The reception explained in details and walked us through the room. The 2 bedroom suite was large, clean, well decorated, with nice view. The patio is large enough to have a dinner party. Breakfast is good with large selection and cook to order rice soup and egg bar. The pool is nice but not heated. We were able to dip in for a few minutes since the water was freezingly cold. The kirimaya property that Atta sits on is near khao Yai national park and restaurants (about a 5 minute drive). Overall a pleasant 3 days 2 nights stay. We love the tub so much my son want to take a bath 3 times a day. "

"Everything was so new about the hotel, especially the staff. We showed up and seemed to surprise them. I’m pretty sure our two families were the first and only customers at the hotel. The pool was awesome for younger kids, but the tiles were already coming up from the bottom. We loved the free mini bar breakfast with bread, jelly, yogurt, milk and juice. It was perfect. The bathroom and the onsen were the stars of the whole hotel. The bathroom had a deep amazing tub, a full japanese style toilet and a two headed shower. The onsen was warm and inviting. It had a place everyone of us to relax. We’re already planning our next holiday trip here and hopefully the building next door will be completed by then as well. Zen is the perfect name. "

"I’d recommend U Khao Yai to anyone thinking of staying in Khao Yai. Rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and beautiful; the shower even had seating! So lovely to return to after a long day out. Travelling as a family we appreciated the connecting rooms. The landscape and architecture was so lovely that we went out to the balcony even though it was cold out. Cute hammock swings were all around the hotel. Friendly cats sometimes roamed the front garden. The breakfast is the best out of the 3 hotels we stayed at on this trip; croissants actually tasted like how they should. Room service was speedy. The front desk staff were great. In particular, Ms Nok was very helpful in advising us on visiting the national park and in finding us a driver for that. My only regret is not having enough time to explore the hotel grounds! 100% U Khao Yai would be my first choice if I were to revisit Khao Yai. "

"The Resort was very clean, staff were extremely friendly and it was very quiet and I can say is the best place for couples. We went in end-May, the weather wasn't cool and many mosquitoes and insects, but it was a good experience for my daughter, for her to know getting away from City :P The resort was just too nice to be true, that we took many pictures :D But transport can be the biggest problem in Khao Yai, no doubt this resort has the best location there, we were very lucky that we engaged our own private transport throughout our stay there - places of interest at Khao Yai ~ Palio, Scenical World, PB Valley and Khao Yai National Park. Overall, we had enjoyed our stay at Thames Valley Khao Yai :D "

"this is one of a place, located within a golf resort just outside of khao yai national park, a mere 3h trip from bangkok. we had a private pool villa, which was just excellent. nothing at all to complain about (maybe too many light switches, that are not easy to figure out and not enough hooks to hang your used/ wet clothes). for the price you pay here for a 140sqm villa with your own private pool, you get a tiny hole in other cities like singapore/ london etc. would go there anytime again."

More about Khao Yai National Park

Khao Yai National Park is the oldest national park in Thailand, and it’s teeming with exotic animals and tropical foliage. It has the distinction of being a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to the vast tracts of untouched monsoon forest found here. Luxury resorts in Khao Yai National Park offer tourists a comfortable base from which to explore this natural treasure.

The park is composed of several different types of jungle, from high-elevation evergreen forests to lower-lying savannas. Most tourists arrive during the dry season, which lasts from November to March, but there are benefits to visiting during the monsoon season. These include the chance to see orchids in bloom.

The variety of animals that live in the park is astounding. Elephants roam across the park, and they’re joined by elusive species that include leopards, gibbons, macaques, tigers and Asiatic black bears. Hornbills breed in the park during the dry season.

While wildlife watching is the most popular pastime here, there are other attractions on site that guests of Khao Yai National Park accommodation can enjoy. Local tour guides lead treks to hidden waterfalls, and this is often coupled with an elephant ride through the jungle. Other attractions include the Corns Research and Development Center and Farm Chok Chai. The latter is a working dairy farm that doubles as an agro-theme park. It’s especially popular with Thai tourists from Bangkok.
