Great Stay”
The hotel is beautiful and very calm (don‘t choose it when you look for entertainment). My husband and I were travelling with my parents and my aunt and it was just perfect. Spacious rooms, great services, a lot of affordable restaurants nearby. The beach was very nice and clean and khaolaks highlight beaches (white sand and coconut beach) can be reached by taxi or scooter in less than 20 minutes). It was a great stay!

This special offer is excellent value for money. The large scale traditional style buildings are very impressive and interestingly decorated. The grounds are very well maintained. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable. The staff were always attentive and helpful. We really enjoyed our 3 day stay.

Staycation”
We booked this resort for a few nights getaway from Phuket. The resort staff were very friendly, and happy to help with whatever we needed. The location is great, with the restaurant and our bungalow right on the ocean. The spa was also great, and they were skilled at deep tissue massages. Overall it was a great location, friendly staff, good food, and lots of monitor lizards at the morning buffet to keep things interesting.

Worth the money”
The villas are beautiful, in very good condition and very clean. Pool area very nice and well maintained. Generally nice complex although a bit older. The green areas could be a bit nicer but that is complaining on a high level. The only point of criticism is the breakfast, I have been offered much more at similar prices in Thailand. For Western tastes a little poor, which surprises me because during our stay almost exclusively European guests were there. Who prefers Asian breakfast should be satisfied.

Best position in Khao Lak”
We have visited many times so we clearly like this hotel. Lots of positives. Here are negatives. Bath towels need replacing. The floor in the breakfast restaurant needs a good scrub. Coffee machines at breakfast keep breaking down. Jacuzzi jets in swimming pool not working. But we will return next year

Nice hotel, clean and staff friendly, size of room generous. The only downside was heaps of steps 😂 I would be checking options if you have mobility problems. The hotel us being refurbished which was a bit disappointing that we weren’t told when we booked but other than that very nice

Great place but things that need improvement”
Great hotel, big pool, nice vibes, peace and quiet. 5 stars ? not really…. based on personal experience. Staff forgot to give beach bag. Forgot to put shower gel in the bathroom. Staff knocking at 7 am, turns out wrong room. These are like a one time thing and totally understand its a mistake. However, pool was dirty in most spots (dirt and leaves). Guest leave towels just to secure the spot by the pool for the whole day and not even showing up.

Not worth the money, a bit disappointed ”
When I saw the photos of this resort and went to the lobby, I was excited and amazed by the traditioanl thai-chinese decration. High ceilings with wood work and green garden views. However as soon as we went to the room, I was not sure this is a 4-star hotel. We paid to upgrade the siam chalet room to oriental villa, however the oriental villa was dark and dim. and the size even smaller than the siam chalet. The facilities in the resort are old and with extra charge. Old air-conditioning in the bedroom, no fan function, only can change the speed level or temperature. The gym is next to the steam room and sauna but you have to pay to access the steam room or sauna after the workout. The staff is polite, nice and try to help the clients, however only a couple of staff can speak English. The breakfast is plain and limit. 4 fruits everyday (melon, water melon, pineapples and papaya). The melon always full of black bugs and the pineapples are not fresh. Anyway, such good location, good staff but the facilities are too old.

We just returned from one of our best holidays ever at Khaolak Laguna Resort! From the moment we arrived we were looked after like royalty! The garden villa was pristine, the beach was gorgeous and the pool was beautiful! I can't say enough good things about this place! It was definitely the nicest resort along the stretch of beach. It is right by town with many fantastic restaurants only a short stroll away. Breakfast is on another level and lunch is reasonably priced. Cocktails are a bit pricey but worth it (250 baht) of an afternoon (happy hour is at 4-5 for 175 baht). We didn't eat dinner as it was pretty pricey and with so many fantastic cheap eats so close, we ate out every night. There are also heaps of massage places on the beach with average of 350 baht for an hour. I recommend coconuts which is about 100m up the beach to the right. They also do 2 4 1 cocktails. We will find it hard not to come back here for the price and experience!!! Thanks for an awesome holiday!!!

Lovely hotel and good services”
We stay at Khaolak Laguna Resort for two nights. The hotel location is closed to small shops in walking distance. There is no problem when I check in. The services at front desk and at restaurant are good. The room is big enough for family with small child. The beach is beautiful with small light house. You can walk to the light house when it is low tide. Swimming pool was nice. It is next to the beach. My kid is enjoying the swimming pool and the beach. Food is good but a little bit expensive. I found, I choose the right choice to stay at Khaolak Laguna Resort. I will go back again.

It's a very comfortable place! The breakfast was delicious! We had a very pleasant time! Walked on the beach or swimming on the pool was very relaxing! Khaolak is a very clean town with good places for shopping and see the local art! I'm Brazilian, but I just moved from Alaska to Thailand. Visited Khao Lak and stayed at Laguna Resort was like back to home and visited old friends! I want to go back soon!
