Impossible to get better value for the Baht in the Khaosan Area”
I was looking for a place that would give me a low price but great value. Khaosan Green House Hotel ranked extremely well on every issue important to me. I was delighted when I realized that, even though I was based in the noisiest area of Khaosan, I heard NO STREET NOISE. That, together, with a soft mattress, meant that I slept like a baby. If I stretch to find a problem, I must admit that the shower provided no hot water even though there was a hot water heater in place with the dial set to "scorch." I had to shut the bathroom door with my shoulder to close it. But, given the overall quality and the low price for the area, these were minor inconveniences. Would I go back again? Definitely yes. Value for your money...”
I enjoyed my stay in Khaosan Green House Hotel. I was placed in aroom that's beside the road on Rambuttri alley, but I was not bothered by the sounds coming from the streets. I slept like a baby. Their restaurant are also very good and offers 20% discount to in-house guests. The area is very accessible to the major tourist attractions around the area. The streets at night is so lively, you can find everything you might need, from parties, foods (restaurants and foodcarts), massages, convenient stores and fast foods. I will definitely come back here.

Exceptional”
My stay at Khaosan Green House Hotel was great! Hotel staff was welcoming. Especially the hotel manager Ed. He helped me a lot with my tours. They also offer wide variety of food at the resto and I didn’t wait long for my food to be served. I got a room with shared comfort room. I feel like im the only guest because the comfort room is always clean and dry. This place is highly recommended!

LOVED IT! Stayed 7 nights coming from Australia as a solo traveller. After doing a lot of research into a great central location near Khao San Road but just out of the chaos, I kept coming across Green House in reviews. This is on Rambuttri (my favourite street in the area) and right next to a lane way which puts you smack in the middle of Khao San Road. I booked a twin single with aircon and the room was perfect for me. Room was very clean and the aircon worked well. Staff were as friendly as other reviews portray them, and helped me in any way they could. The restaurant is awesome and always packed, and does an amazing Banana Shake. Will definitely stay there again, not super fancy but awesome for someone who wants a very affordable clean stay with high quality service and staff with great meals in the best location in Bangkok!

Nice room with great location”
Actually, I stay here for serval times. I think the price is reasonable with nice service, smile, clean room and great location. If you wanna stay in Khaosan Road, I recommend you try Green House~ However, if you wanna use wifi, only lobby and some rooms at 1/F have strong signal there~ Khaosan Road has many choices for meals, shopping and transportation.

One of my favorite accommodation in BKK!”
Whenever I visit to BKK, have been staying the Green House Hostel. It was conveniently located close to shops and restaurants. also near Khaosan road!! The room was basic, share bathroom is litttle bit small. Staff is kindly with smile! restaurant is so comfortable and have delicious food. Sometimes internet is slowly. but don't mind!! I definitely will stay here again!!

convenient location and great budget price ”
the green house hostel is a conveniently located accommodation, it is right in the heart of all the action.. good restaurants and bars surrounding tis area. The rooms themselves are very basic (even if you go for the double deluxe) if you are planning a 1-2 nights stay then its just perfect. No T.V in the room, which can be slightly annoying as sometimes the fast pace of bangkok can be overwhelming and it would be nice just to chill for an hour or two. however that said there is a lounge area where all the basic commodities can be found. the restaurant is great.. good food and affordable. the staff are friendly and willing to help out as much as they possibly can.

Great spot for backpackers ”
The green house was a perfect spot for our first visit to Bangkok . The guest house is located in the Koh San Rd neighborhood, which is a cluster of fun bars,massage parlors, market vendors, and backpacker friendly guest houses . We spent a lot of time in our own guest house bar which served fun drinks with live music. If your looking for a place that's simple, cheap, and in a good neighborhood , then I highly recommend it.

Lovely guest house and great staff!! ”
me and my friend stayed two nights in the green house hostel and had an amazing time! the rooms are big and clean and the staff is so kindly! the guys tried to make every wish possible and they are very nice and open minded! we had a pleasant stay there! the breakfast and the lunch is also really good! the guest house is a little bit far from the city centre but you can take a tuk tuk or ask the service if they could drive you! one of the guys drove us to the city centre every night and picked us up whenever we wanted!! i totally recommended the green house hostel!

A great stay at a great place”
I had a wonderful stay at Green House. I arrived at 5 AM, and even though I had a reservation, I fully expected to have to wait several hours. I was happily surprised to learn that my room was ready and that I could go right in. My single room was very simple, but pleasant. The bed was quite comfortable. There was one toilet and shower on my floor, but I never had a problem with overcrowding. The toilet was clean, and cleaned regularly. My room had only an electric fan, but it was quite cool at night. The staff, especially at the reception desk, were friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. The 2 guys at reception gave me good information in response to my requests, and they both spoke English very well. Communication was not a problem at all. They are the kind of people I always hope to find when I check into a new place. The people handling the restaurant were always smiling and responsive, and made each day pleasant. Housekeeping staff were also friendly, and clearly worked hard. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here. I would say that the great employees were the best part of this visit.

Simply perfect”
The Green house hotel was amazing. I arrived at 3.30 in the morning and they checked me in without any extra money as in other hotels.. Room was clean and the shared bathroom and toilet very very clean. Staff very helpful and polite and the restaurant was great. Portions big and food tasty.was so happy and I will recommend it to anybody.

Great locations but too simple”
This is my second stay at the Green House. We had a nice experience here last time so we give it another short It quiet, simple hotel and great location The only downside is the wifi signal is not too strong so if you have the room that is far from the access point, you might have a problem. There's only stairs and no lift, so you will exercise more although it's a bad idea climbing too many stairs after a party night!

Used to be my stay hotel in khaosan area due to its price and location but I always told myself why I keep coming back... Service was bad... Rude receptionist. High floors no stairs... Just empty room with a bed. Very bad WiFi. However things seem to be improving and this time I had a nice surprise... Recepcionist was very friendly and helpful. Room looks nicer... And they give you a bottle of water... And a welcome drink. Congratulations for the improvement. Best in the area of khaosan.

One extra Yes!”
We have been visiting the Green House many times, starting some years ago. And we see some work done, like internet has a better connection than 2 years ago. The rooms also have some improvement, comfortable mattress Any ways we feel comfortable! We can give an extra Yes! Also to the staff for their quick answer to any request or help. Like no hot water, well 15 minutes later the repair man putted a new water unit... That's a service. So lets recommend this place The only negative is the travellers coming back from party after midnight who can't respect the people who try to sleep.

Awesome location, clean modern rooms”
The Green House Hostel is the ideal hostel. Located right on a well known busy street for tourists and backpackers, it is easy to find and resources for traveling are readily available. I was pleasantly surprised with how clean and new our room was, very simple but functional. Not the most romantic place for a couple, but perfect for a one or two night stay while transitioning between sightseeing and partying! Wifi is everywhere and the staff are helpful.

Budget Hotel in a Great Location”
My husband and I both love the nightlife. Green House is just in the middle of the busy Rambuttri Street where most of the pubs and bars are located. Bed, room, and bathroom were small but just fine considering the price of the hostel. Will definitely recommend this to my friends.

Great hostel would recommend”
My girlfriend and I stayed in this hostel for 4 nights. The rooms are basic but have everything you could expect. The staff are very accomodating and due to our flight being delayed 24 hours we missed our first night and the manager upgraded us at no extra cost for the first night as a goodwill gesture from our delay. The restaurant downstairs was always busy however we didn't eat here so can't give a review. Best part of this hostel is location, one street from Khaosan Road was the best part of Bangkok that we found.

Fab budget accommodation ”
Good stay at green house, food in restaurant is brilliant and guests get 10% discount too which is a nice bonus. Great location, great value for money, we will stay here again. If you're looking for luxury stay somewhere else, if you want clean, cheap, convenient accommodation then this is perfect.

Good value for money”
This hostel has a good location if you want to stay near Khaosan Road (dont do it, seriously!!! Too many people who want to get your money). It is good value for money. You have to expect a lot of noise during the night so get prepared your earplugs. It is near to many sightseeing places. The room was clean and the bed was fine, but there wasnt any furniture (no problem for bagpackers). Bathroom was moreless clean with only cold water (well the cold water is great after those hot days in Bangkok). Good thing is that you can store you bag in hostel for 50B per day (for example after check out). I would stay in another place next time, but only because I wouldnt like to be near Khaosan Road, not because of this hostel.
