Take Taxi from airport for B2000 (Feb 2015)”
Rural location, birds, pool for kids
Good Nice stopover break in Thailand Some playground Equipment would be good for kids Food was yum and fast No tea making facilities in rooms or common area is a downer especially sionce no one is in kitchen before seven. Their pick up Service is a fair bit overpriced with B3500 as the 2 hr taxi ride from the Airport is B 2000 and the 3 hr 1st class bus trip from the City is B150 per head

too much money for the place”
nature; swimming pool;
breakfast for kids was 200 ThB; for adults 800 ThB and some days there were only mandarins and bananas; only once in a while there was yoghurt; the price is for an international standard hotel, but it is far from it

Peaceful Escape”
Location, great space, friendly
We were there for only one night but spent quite good amount of time at the hotel. They devided the ground to two zones, Villas and Hotels parts, both of them have a separated swimming pool, but they don't mind us using both as long as we are not too loud:) I love the hammocks under the tree, decoration of simple garden. Eventhough, the road that leads to the hotel is not the smoothest, but it's not too rough to drive on! Location is about 3 minutes drive to the main road, where you find LOTS of good restaurants! and not too far from the entrance to the national park, too!Would love to go back and enjoy peaceful moment there soon!

Out of the way and very peacefuil”
Quiet. Friendly staff
Not easy to find but once you get there, it is peaceful and tranquil. The villas are grouped around a nice pool and the gardens are pleasant. Food in the restaurant is a bit limited but enough variety for a 3 day stay.

Very nice and quiet location”
new rooms, good service.
takes a few dirt roads to get to but worth it. it's about 20 minutes from the north khao yai national park entrance. setting is very quiet with nice views of the mountains. rooms are brand new with concrete floors and good quality furniture. refrigerators in the room but only with water, no beer. its a newer hotel so there were still some rooms unfinished but did not affect the stay at all.

Isolated guest-house”
Completely getaway from the city
The place is not a luxury hotel but a guest house complete away from the city life. ~5km away from the main road to Khao yai natural park. The traveler needs his own car to reach and get out of the place. Guide or GPS is needed also. The guesthouse is located on a small level ground between two small hilltops. The room is very big with basic facilities, such as the old countryside style bathroom. It is a very good place for fresh air. We saw the stars blink and slept without air-conditioning there, the last time I had the same experience could be 10+ years ago. That is the reason why going to Khao Yai, isn’t it? Nature & Life

Out of expectation”
Booked another hotel but was cancelled by Agoda and recommended this hotel few days before departure. It was an isolated place where you need to go through dirt road. Overall hotel is okay but it is an experience of real nature. Not so much for city dweller like me.

Quiet, difficult to find back-to-nature place. ”
Helps you to appreciate the conveniences in life we take for granted. lol.
From past reviews, I am glad I prepared myself for the challenge of finding the hotel. My wife and I reached Khao Yai in the dark. I was however not prepared to drive a few km along dirt roads (no street lighting) with no clear signages and made worst when your GPS does not register the hotel and keeps barking for you to made a U-turn. LOL. It took a lot of faith here. I would recommend first timers to this hotel to arrive in the daylight. This means if you do not intend to hire a car or book a van & driver; forget this place....or better still don't go Khao Yai. The hotel is good for those intending to take walking/hiking tours. However do note that the tours do not take you into Khai Yai National Park (which cost 450 Bht for foreigners but 40 Bht for locals) but somewhere near the National park. If not for my wife's flu, we would have joined the half day tour that goes to the caves. The room is acceptable. All TV channels are local. The bathroom can be pretty cold as it leads to an outside shower with a mosquito netting separating the 2 area. The hot water was weak and miserable. I spend a good amount of time removing small plastic bits that remained in the shower head (with toothpick and sewing needle) during its manufacture just to ensure the water comes out straight. I am sure previous tenants before us must have complained and nothing done. When the nights hit 19 deg C, you will understand the importance of a good hot water shower. Service was ok. The girl at the Reception, Nini (I think) was exceptional and friendly.

A pleasant stay with no hassle”
Best three things - the staff, the staff, the staff
When picking the hotel in Khao Yai I was looking for somewhere where I could book a room and a tour in one. This hotel met that requirement. It was a little more expensive I think compared to other room and other tours but I had a good time. The tour guides where very attentive and knowledgeable of the local area. The staff in the hotel too were great too, we were upgraded on arrival and when we had a few minor quibbles about our room we were upgraded again! The rooms are very minimalist, you would expect a lot more for you money from Bangkok or Phuket. Simialarly, you are out in the sticks so once the sun goes down you are pretty much restricted to activities on the resort. But then what do you expect from a resort in Khao Yai?

OK, but easy to find”
Calm, new, nice layout
Service was good, nothing special. The place is a bit far from the main road (a few mins off-road), which makes it a bit difficult to find, but also very peaceful. The rooms were big, although with very basic/simple furniture. We had issues with a few mosquitoes, as there is no good way to perfectly close windows and doors. At the reception, we could not get any help or suggestion about visiting the area.

Hotel in a very remote place”
The hotel is surrounded by mountains
We were quite shocked to see the "hotel" I dont know if it should be called a hotel or a resort or something else. It was definitely not worth the money. Bread, butter , jam and some corn flakes constituted breakfast. It is some 3 Kms inside the main road. The road leading to the hotel was rugged.
